Great puzzle. Not too difficult, but still good fun to solve.

Very nice. I usually get stuck on logic tests and have to gear up this pea brain of mine. This one was a pleasure to solve. It still took some thinking but I found I was up to the task. Maybe I've seen something recently that helped or maybe I'm just getting better (not). Anyway this was a fun map. Thanks.

@wildgoosespeeder, seems you came onto the portaling scene earlier than me....

I wrote this for an upcoming unpublished guide:
"No-elements: thanks primarily to Mevious and Gig, they have shown us how to think purely with portals and portal momentum. The only PeTI elements used are deadly goo, still panels and stairs, glass and grating. General difficulty: easy; at most medium."

The no-elements theme just shows off how minimalist one can be with puzzles using the in-game editor. Like those tests, I'd rate this one roughly easy-meduim.

@p0rtalmaster
I never played the "No Elements" series and I never plan to. Portal-1-esque maneuvers, easy to expert execution, only are not my style. I kind of got my dose of that playing Portal 1 mods, like "Portal Prelude", "Portal Pro", and "Portal - The Flash Version Mappack". Portal 2 just has so much more interesting things in it. If you throw in non-ninja Portal-1-esque techniques (not like Goose's "Alpha and Omega" and "Laser Riddles ++" maps) with Portal 2 exclusive test elements, like this map, then I'm all good.

I do know the trick used in this chamber, as I've played "Azorae's Momentum Control" and went advanced in YUKI_67's "Destroyed Level 5 - Final Gate". They use the same trick in this map to setup portals (although this map doesn't use momentum control part at all).

Very well done Jotta!

Thanks to all those no-elements tests, I found this one a bit easy. Nice work.

Very nice Jotta! Thanks for the great puzzle. I always seem to forget the many ways to use mementum !

I took time and had pleasure to figure it out. While playing I thought about a move and trying it I said to myself "if it's the way to solve it, that's a challenging map" Well, it was the solution :)
Clever one. I had to subscribe to your logic-test collection !

May I submit one ? = Confluence

Oh, I see. I think I just used cube tossing through the portal for that step, rather than the funnel.
Jotta  [auteur] 30 jan 2013 om 11:21
the panel on the ceiling has to be at an angle! if it would face down i would have to move the button under the panel (because of the step with the funnel and the cube).if i would do that you would not be able to jump through the panel.

This one took me longer than I care to admit, especially since the final move is very familiar to me. Nice job on a tough chamber. I'm not sure why the panel on the ceiling is at an angle, instead of facing down. That really confused me for a while.
