The visibility on some of the portal surfaces could've been better, other than that I really liked it :)

Wow the atmosphere you created here is amazing! Beautiful work. A nice, accessible puzzle too. Funny ending as well. Thanks for making!

Nice puzzle! I really like this "half assembled" style hanging over an abyss, and it was cool too see the inspiration at the end - the presence of the shaft and the test sphere below make for a good visual expression of the narrative of the theme!

Great looking fun map! Thanks!

Very good map. Altough, the 2 walls needed for the solution where a bit ommited, the ones I'm reffering to being the 2 white surfaces on both laser ends. I was there just thinking how to solve it but it finally occurred to me once I took note of them. It's a good puzzle but I wish they where right in the player view.

Your hammer work is amazing, as always.
NOT A DOG 21 May, 2019 @ 11:59pm
how did you put custom textures on your map...
when im upload a map with custum textures all of my cube maps go HUNKEN BUNKERS and all of my reflective stuff (vac_tube,droppers..etc) got a weird white glow!

What is your method?
Viflame 11 Apr, 2019 @ 8:15am

zigzagtenniscoe 20 Dec, 2018 @ 12:49am
The ending really threw me off, lol. Not saying it's bad, it's actually a fantastic ending LOL

It's been a while, A combination of burnout, technical, and a job has made my ability to play maps harder to manage. I was playing a different game for the time being. Earlier this year, technical advancements now allow me to play Portal 2 once again, as they make the game less prone to crashing or hanging due to the sheer volume of maps I have played over the years. Also glorious 60FPS on max settings means I was able to upgrade to a new graphics card (GeForce GTX 1050). Solid state made the crashes much less likely (reading/writing data related to maps previously played).

@wildgoosespeeder You might better understand it in the sequential context of my past maps, since after facade. They all deal with removal from the Portal universe.
wildgoosespeeder 11 Nov, 2018 @ 11:56am
I don't get the ending?

Best map ever!
Flametusk 16 Jul, 2018 @ 12:12pm
Really clever puzzle, astounding visuals. I really liked how the escape path was more than just an escape path, but actually necessary for the puzzle , as well as the details such as the enrichment sphere at the bottom, and the hazard strips at the edges. Really, truly very nice. I wish I could create puzzles as simple and clever as this. I feel like I'm getting closer, though. Espeially with my most recent puzzles.

@stract after the stairs leading away from the elevator room, the ones going up, the railing that goes together with them is really not connected properly
Stract  [author] 23 Jun, 2018 @ 7:22am
@Super Dirt You couldn't have possibly been more vague.
Mister Smirnov 23 Jun, 2018 @ 5:11am
There is a really odd railing in the beggining, after the elevator room
Mrk 22 Jun, 2018 @ 2:12pm
I really loved the visual style of the room and the puzzle was clever and fun :)
Trans Catgirl Lenin 29 May, 2018 @ 5:48pm
A) This map looks really cool. I spent a fair amount of time focusing on the surroundings than I did the actual puzzle.

B) That was not an ending I expected.

The puzzle wasn't super challenging but all in all I enjoyed playing this!

Thanks, Paper!

Stunning visuals, definitely glad I revisited this test in this form. I especially loved how the test was positioned above a testing sphere, I don't see that very often. Awesome work Stract! (And Demon, for creating the original test. :3 )

The visuals made me really happy. Too bad they aren't real :/ Just the glass, huh?

The puzzle was also fun. Nice job!

Beautiful medium puzzle. Smart and fun to play with a creative ending, thanks:)
Demon Arisen  [author] 29 Dec, 2017 @ 3:28pm
@zeo1337 Yup, this one's pretty easy.
zeo1337 29 Dec, 2017 @ 3:27pm
? it seems really easy for me. Maybe I just thought of the solution too quickly
metadavid 6 Dec, 2017 @ 3:06pm
This was one of the first of your puzzles that I solved Demon Arisen, a while ago. I had to work out the solution over again, couldn't remember how to do it. It's one of those 'it's easy once you know how' types. Stract's visual design turns it into an epic scene - just awesome!
quatrus 3 Dec, 2017 @ 1:00pm
nice challenging puzzle. interesting post exit - chamber. Thanks for creating.
vallibus 2 Dec, 2017 @ 2:46pm
Very nice, interesting puzzle.
CoolDudeClem 21 Nov, 2017 @ 7:09pm
NIce one, tricky but not so hard that I gave up. I almost thorught this was broken at first as I couldn't see what to do after I funneled myself over to the area with the cube drop button becuase I coulndt see the protal surface under the lazer. Might want to make that a little more visable.
K7 Avenger 4 Nov, 2017 @ 7:13am
Fantastic. Although the puzzle was quitte easy for me, it was still clever and I loved the move where you pull the cube into the ground while you are in the funnel, for a sec I thought I was trapped but I wasn't. Good job Demon. The map itself was just beautiful, very well done Stract! Favourited.

Hellraiser 10 Oct, 2017 @ 1:28pm
Great puzzle from Demon, absolutely beautiful Hammer work from Stract.
You are now my favourite Hammer publisher most definitely,

The ending, though. Kinda glad the map failed to compile itself; I'd be a bit worried if maps could self-replicate!

Nice work
Stract  [author] 7 Oct, 2017 @ 2:54pm
Glad you liked it! I agree that I should have put more work into attracting the eye to the ceiling since players tend not to look up. Thanks for playing!
