Anyway I am interested in the loader at your Quarry, I noticed it is actually a coal loader and wondered if there is a loader available anymore for quarry metal discharge?
I know what will show up in the wagons will be dependent on the wagon type, not what is shown coming from the loader. But it would be nice to find a loader that will do the same as that one which came with the Hatchet Hill Quarry.
Do you know of one being available that is available through a UK route that could be used in the Workshop?
Why I am asking is I wish to re-master my "Whatley Quarry" route that uses loaders from both "Hatchet Hill Quarry" and "Stevens Pass", both now unavailable to the Rest of the World.
Cheers, Roland.
Have finally published a scenario on this lovely route, it is called:
"Sir Lamiel - Warfield to Hindford"
I just used Sir Lamiel without the extra N15 locos (from Steam Sounds Supreme) that were needed in my scenario on "Southbridge to Highwood (Electric 3rd rail)".
I featured other N15 locos but changed the numbers, leaving blank nameplates, with the excuse that as it is 1960 and these locos are being rapidly withdrawn, the name-plates have been "lifted" by light-fingered enthusiasts !
I wanted this to have a "Southern" flavour, so apart from the N15, I used the S15,Q1,and Light Pacifics but resisted the temptation to use other Southern locos, to hopefully capture a wider audience.
Anyway, hope you can play it without any problems, and I am planning more scenarios on this route in the future.
Best Regards,
Paul
Thanks for your reply about Goodmoor platforms, that's perfectly sensible to me.
Have just tried another combination, this time from Linden to Marwell, once again everything went well start to finish.
Will keep doing more test scenarios, as I am learning the route and thoroughly enjoying it.
Best Regards,
Paul
Just completed another part of the route without problems - Hindford to Dingley.
I am really enjoying this route, it has massive potential for scenarios.
All your routes are interesting and varied but this one is the best yet !
I have one observation that I thought I would mention:
When running from Hindford to Dingley (test scenario not a Quick Drive) my player train went through Goodmoor Platform 1 rather than 2.
I then set an A.I. train coming the other way which let my player train use the single line first using Platform 1 and then the A.I. train also used Platform 1.
If I use a "Waypoint" or "Stop At" instruction to use Platform 2, my player train does use Plt. 2.
Note : The player train and A.I. train passed each other safely at Goodmoor Station.
Will keep going on other parts of the route in the next few days and let you know how it goes.
Best Regards, Paul
I'm having an issue trying to get this route to load for a quick drive. Everytime I want to use the route for a quick drive, it causes my computer to have a dump file. Do you know if this is common and if there is a way to fix this? I really want to drive this route.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks again,
-Brett
