Very subtle and creative ending; However the two sections are kind of independent in my opinion, wish that ] the reverse funnel could somehow be reused in the 2nd room :)

Yes, that last move was subtle but rewarding!
bullfrog 16 Sep, 2020 @ 1:45am
Still a great puzzle - especially the first move, which still took me a minute or so to think of.

@Spider_Dawg Another kind comment, thanks! The logic in this one is indeed not terribly convoluted but the final move can be quite subtle to some
Spider_Dawg 23 Dec, 2019 @ 3:29pm
Another great puzzle, thanks! After exploring several possibilities, the actual solution was one of the least complicated of the schemes in my head.

@kimist108 Again, thanks for playing :D

@Teo Thank you very much ^_^ I still have to play your latest maps, but I will someday soon

Wonderful puzzle, I loved loved the first room, especially how you lift the cube up with the piston and then switch places . Didn't find it that difficult but the logic was super satisfying to figure out. Big favorite

@tapmage Well done solving it! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that you seem to agree with my difficulty ratings lately :)
tapmage 3 Nov, 2018 @ 4:35pm
That was fun. Took too long trying to figure it out yesterday so stopped, but I figured out close to what I needed to do. So I accomplished that today and solved it in 10 min or less. But 6 or 7 out of 10 difficulty seems about right.

@Jade BGE Thank you :D

That had some really great steps to it! Thank you. Fav.

Thanks again for the video! Again a perfect solution :)

Didn't take too much time overall but still the longest walkthrough yet, 3:22 https://youtu.be/9jckgH8r5wE the first part was the hardest one.
Mikeastro  [author] 16 Jun, 2018 @ 1:14pm
@Nobody No-One Thanks! I might change it to 6 :)
Nobody No-One 16 Jun, 2018 @ 1:12pm
Good one, though I don't find it to be 7/10 difficulty. I like how what I thought was a tutorial room was actually a necessary part of the puzzle since you need the companion cube. I also liked the final move.
Mikeastro  [author] 16 Jun, 2018 @ 3:04am
@bullfrog whoops, misread your comment there for a second. Yes, (3), your playthrough was fully intended :)
bullfrog 16 Jun, 2018 @ 12:48am
You are welcome. "(2) was intended", I assume you mean 'unintended'? As (3) is intended; now also added to favourites :)
Mikeastro  [author] 15 Jun, 2018 @ 3:41am
@bullfrog Thanks! (1) was indeed @BRUCE's idea, whereas (2) was intended, though it doesn't matter all that much. Your solution was perfect! Again many thanks for the video :)
bullfrog 14 Jun, 2018 @ 10:28pm
Brilliant logic puzzle and really good use of funnel. I thought I solved it as intended, but reading your response to @BRUCE – ”your trick to get the cube on the button using the panel on the ceiling” - I’m now not so sure as I can think of three was to do that, i.e. 1 - cube on edge of button, then use funnel to push it on. 2 – funnel cube across then move funnel so cube drops onto button. 3 – my walkthrough intended solution? :)
jandlml 10 Jun, 2018 @ 7:54pm
sneaky! haha fun map :steamhappy:
Leo 8 Apr, 2018 @ 7:16am
Really nice! I think the end is indeed the hardest to figure out, but not even that complicated once you understand you need both cubes
Psychological Atom 30 Jan, 2018 @ 11:58pm
Awesome map!
Fatso 23 Jan, 2018 @ 4:44pm
Yes I haven't played portal for some time but did enjoy it, gave it a thumbs up!
Mikeastro  [author] 23 Jan, 2018 @ 2:22pm
Hey BRUCE, thanks a lot for the video! You were close to the intended solution; only your trick to get the cube on the button using the panel on the ceiling was not intended, and I will think of a way to prevent that, but it's not too hard to pull off without resorting to such sly methods :) You got the ending right though, and I think that that's the most subtle part of the puzzle for most players. I hope you enjoyed playing regardless!
