more fun had:)
got a little frustrated, when going through the exit door.
as the funel came on & stopped me going far enough for the exit door to close behind me.
timers can be good, but this is not.
as getting through the exit is the goal of all portal maps.
failing at this point is a not supposed to happen.
saying that, it was a quick fix, to get to exit the 2nd time.
& I enjoyed this map

Great chamber! Don't change anything! It is amazing how people critique chambers based on what they think it should be. Every chamber developer has his/her own style and that is what makes Portal 2 great!

Thanks for the comments, Lpfreaky90. Hope you got some enjoyment out of my maps. Cheers. =)

comment on the map design though: I like the teasing with the exit

I just played through part 1-15 of this series.

Overall I think the difficulty is way too low. The path you take is very linear and all the elements are thrown in your face the moment you need them. Playing through the entire series took me 2 hours and 15 minutes. That's a total of 135 minutes for 15 chambers. That's 9 minutes per chamber on average on a blind playthrough. I think that's a bit too short.

Also on some occasions in the series the indicatiors are missing or not clear enough; try to work on that.

Very good indeed. I liked that kind of walkthrough a lot. However there were several situations where you can get stuck, wich narrows the fun a bit. But overall good and much fun.

Excellent chamber and great fun; thumbs up! toncica is right in general about antlines and signage, but gloomshine's chambers seem to me to be an exception as they are made so that you come to buttons in the order that you need them and either you can see their effect or it is in any case safe to press them.

Hmmm I don't know what ppl ar complaining about.. I thought it was fine. :)

Invisible connections and avoiding antlines are just laziness or incompetence. It makes me lose the respect for the author and the will to play his maps. It's a flaw that can easily overshadow the good stuff in a map.

Amazing series!

I liked the room with the lightbridge and the turret behind the screen. Most challenging part. The rest you just blindly follow on faith. Faith and science are not usually a good mix, as what some of the other posters have noted. To them I say, run the puzzle multiple times you eventually remember what all the buttons do. Its the same as antlines. Its antines in your brain. ;-P

Nice map if a little confusing at times.
gloomshine  [author] 21 Mar, 2013 @ 10:58pm
Yeah. Would be nice if you could click and drag antlines and signage...

Antlines won't clutter up the map if you know how to manipulate them. Using lights help. I wish the antlines weren't always automatic...

Yeah, don't care for antlines. They clutter the map, in my opinion. Try and make button or pedistal effects visible when you hit them. I'll reconsider it though. Thx 4 the feedback, seriously. Cheers

This map is slightly annoying.

Overall your 15 maps are alright. For the most part, you seem to be afraid to use antlines and use symbols or nothing. Sometimes I just look around blindly not knowing what just happened.
