I only expected the flip panel to be used once, so it was really cool when I needed it for the portal connection too. Great map, faved!

Nope. But it sounds like a good one.

Is this intended solution? Block the water with a lazer cube and jump

Nice puzzle! Agree with others that the zone-connecting move was quite nice. I also had the same problem that Nobody No-One did for a minute but it wasn't a big deal, haha.

This one had me stumped for a while, up until I just... Completely solved it on accident. The solution is really clever, and getting to it isn't actually that difficult once you figure out that you can get a portal between the top and bottommost areas.

Wow! Almost gave up figuring out how to do the cube swap but so glad I waited to look at it for just a bit longer. Once one gets the portal set up that allows the swap, that is a great reuse over and over without changing any portals...felt like I kept going through them and through them and .... Really cool when you finally get it.

Still a great puzzle and still took a while to solve.

Awesome :D

Cool map thanks. I don't think I've seen A cube swap to prevent gel being cleaned before. Thanks for your work.

I know about this trick but didn't think it would cause problems in this map.

I used the quick version of the trick that nock did, but it is a slight oversight with the game and how it generates geometry in the in-game editor. The crack between 90-degree glass panes nearest the laser cube dropper is very small, but you can slip a portal through it if you are standing next to the laser relay. Takes a few tries to get it to slip through, but it can be done. Best way to combat this is to shrink the portalable wall from that angle.

Takes an awesomely long time to solve. Only complaint is that the entrance to the normal cube room is extremely difficult to find, perhaps it and the enterance door could be moved?

Not too hard or simple, but nicely clever! I liked the useage of gels! Well done! Cheers!

Always a good moment when you get that "OOOOHHHHHH" feeling in a map. Nice work Thanks for making

It didn't really affect my overall experience and I still gave the map a thumbs up - if you have BEEMod maybe you can use a signage element (I think they have arrows) to direct the player's eye upwards as well.
olshi  [author] 27 Apr, 2018 @ 11:43pm
I worried about this but thought it would be enough to put light strips on the wall all the way up there. Or I could have moved the entrance into that area.
Nobody No-One 27 Apr, 2018 @ 9:55pm
Enjoyable but I took too long to see that you could portal up to the area with the regular cube from the area where the entrance door was. I had to examine the thumbnail to see how to progress. Maybe communicate that more clearly? After that it was a clever puzzle.

Looks simple on the surface, disguising a series of clever required moves.

Nice logic map, well made and sufficiently lit. I worked on this for a quite a while yesterday with no luck. Today I restarted it and zipped right through. The solution must have come to me in a dream. Great map! Thanks for your efforts.

Some thing old, something new. Something borrowed, something blue.

:D thanks for letting me know

Thanks, bullfrog!
I was referring to the theme of the P2LC competition this map was created for. If you haven't been a member, you wouldn't know. But the name is also a reference to a popular TV series.

Brilliant logic puzzle; so simple and yet so hard to see - thumbs up and added to favourites. Theme (song?) The Fantastics had a top ten hit in the UK in 1971 with "Something Old, Something New"? :D

Awesome. That took me way too long to accomplish. So smart. refreshing ideas too. Thanks
