Nice map, well made and lit. By the time I was done I was a very good painter. Thanks for your work.
Andi  [ophavsmand] 23. mar. 2015 kl. 20:13
Thanks for testing.
Chelliste 23. mar. 2015 kl. 19:11
As usual, I overthought it. The key for me was to get up to the exit to see whether I needed the cube or the ball to activate the door. I was thinking, please not the cube. Once I got there, I learned something else that rendered all my overthinking moot. Not sure if I was relieved or disappointed. Both, I suppose.

Thanks, I'm GLaD you liked it.
The Sojourner 15. aug. 2014 kl. 5:40
Even with the painted cube I still had a bit of trouble getting it to the other side; I had to throw it over so that it would slide. Anyway, not too big of an issue; nice work again.
Andi  [ophavsmand] 17. feb. 2014 kl. 8:18
Correct. Some players can throw cubes really far... I can't. So I came up with this solution.

orange-painted cube , right? I didn't thought of it for 10 minutes and I tried with cube throwing at first. put a goo pit with a grating over it so that the player can clearly see that a portal can't be placed under it.

Thank you

Really liked the logic in this one. Good puzzles and a great looking map. Especially liked the speed gel usage. Very different. Thanks and I'll see ya round the workshop.
Andi  [ophavsmand] 2. aug. 2013 kl. 21:15
GLaD you enjoyed it, thanks for playing.
ZneX 2. aug. 2013 kl. 18:03
Again, always enjoy your maps. This one kept me guessing on the need for the gel but soon figured it out.
Andi  [ophavsmand] 22. juli 2013 kl. 17:23
No it isn't. I hide a companion cube in every map I make. Only a few chambers don't them because of entity restrictions or it's comming with you from the beginning. But most of my maps will have a companion cube hidden somewhere. The hardest to find to date... is in a chamber titled Xanthippe.
[S.T.A.L.K.E.R.] jackloko99 22. juli 2013 kl. 16:50
its possible to take that companion cube near end level?
Andi  [ophavsmand] 21. juni 2013 kl. 16:05
Thanks for your comment, I appreciate your feedback. I may make the change as you suggest. Also, I'll be happy to try your chamber.
DrFauli 21. juni 2013 kl. 12:51
Finally had some time to play your map and I really enjoyed it.
I am pretty sure I did some unintended stuff, but still a good map.
Great puzzles. I would suggest to use both 'cubes' at the end, instead of just one.

btw: I just published Part 2 of Abstract Science:

Thank you very much. I appreciate your comments.
Brave 19. juni 2013 kl. 13:48
Thanks for explaining the gel and the companion cube.
I enjoyed the map, nicely done!
Andi  [ophavsmand] 19. juni 2013 kl. 13:34
Thanks for the comments.

@Brave I always hide a companion cube in every map I make, some are easy to find others are not so you're not suppose to use them. The gel is for the standard cube. It's for players (like myself) who can't throw the cube very far. The gel helps it slide into the next section. You obviously can throw well. Hope you liked it though.
Brave 19. juni 2013 kl. 8:12
I didn't use the speed gel, i'm not sure what purpose it serve. I didn't get the companion cube closed in at the exit!
Fatso 18. juni 2013 kl. 18:39
Good Chamber took me about 30 min. to beat it.
Andi  [ophavsmand] 17. juni 2013 kl. 22:23
Thanks for your comment, I'll be happy to try out some of your other chambers.
Sloth.ps 17. juni 2013 kl. 21:49
Very nice. Some of the mechanics might trouble those less familiar with the game, but I loved it.

If you could figure out a way to suggest to the player what their first objective should be it would be absolutely perfect. Very nice work.

You've already played one of mine, but if you want to try another I always appreciate feedback.
Andi  [ophavsmand] 14. juni 2013 kl. 10:30

Well maybe lets use the #F4F tag and when you play one of my maps with this tag, propose me a map I didn't play yet ;)
Andi  [ophavsmand] 13. juni 2013 kl. 14:45
I will, thanks for trying this chamber. Also, feel free to visit my workshop too. I have about 30 more chambers if you're up for it.
Geneosis 13. juni 2013 kl. 13:32
Nice and challenging chamber ^^ Great re-use of testing elements.

Feel free to play some maps in my workshop if you have a moment ;)

Andi  [ophavsmand] 11. juni 2013 kl. 11:57
No problem. Give it a try when you have time. Thanks.
Prof Mole 11. juni 2013 kl. 11:09
I will get around to it but I have to finish the other persons tests first as I said I would. If I make any feedback critical instead of just saying it's cool, unless I say otherwise we can assume I think it's a good chamber. That test has alredy got good feedback and it took me about 30 minutes.
Andi  [ophavsmand] 11. juni 2013 kl. 10:08
I understand what you're saying, however, it was always my intention to use the gel in this way... I can't throw a cube very well and I know there are others who can't either but there are some, like yourself, who are very good at it and you don't need the gel. It's not my intention to decieve the player, only to make them think about what to do with it.
Prototype 11. juni 2013 kl. 3:30
Nice challenge, I solved without the gel if the only use is to slide the cube, perhaps you could move the button a square closer to the fizzler that way you could remove the gel and not confuse the player
Andi  [ophavsmand] 10. juni 2013 kl. 23:15
I hope you had fun with it.
