Nice map :)

As others have mentioned, the final jump is annoying. Obviously the panel can't be level with the light bridge without creating another light bridge on the other side, but it's still harder than it should be. In related news, I tried VERY hard to find a situation at the beginning of the puzzle where I felt like I was "stuck," and could find no such place. So there's that.
SpielSatzFail 26 Dec, 2020 @ 12:42pm
Not too hard but enjoyable. I got to the exit on first try (I mean the jump worked, so I'm fine with it) .
AnarchistPrime 8 Aug, 2020 @ 3:34pm
Really clever puzzle. Even when you know what to do (which might take a while to figure out), it's easy to make a wrong step and have to start over - just the right side of frustrating. As @Asd417 pointed out, the final jump you must do when sliding along the light bridge is tricky and the first time I tried it I fell slightly short and had to redo the whole puzzle, which was a bit unfair. Is there a way to fix that?

Thank you so much, metadavid!

An excellent puzzle, again, Fumbly Bumbly. Amazing designs. I read some of your guide for designers and I see how you apply the principle of reusing elements in different combinations, rather than just a linear sequence of moves. Clever stuff.
asd417 2 Nov, 2019 @ 5:13pm
Is there a way to make players not have to jump for the final fling?
Petutski 31 Aug, 2019 @ 10:00pm
Nice, very tricky, but fun. Thanks!
zeo1337 14 Aug, 2019 @ 7:38am
Lol I didn't see that i could walk around the glass, and both portal walls killed me when I went through. I got trapped within the first ten seconds.

Great puzzle, with great reuse of elements. Enjoyed it a lot :)

Hi Light Warrior, just came here to say maybe you should accept criticism as much as you are willing to criticize. It doesn’t matter who was invited to the conversation, This comment section isn’t private or exclusive. Not sure why you have such a hard time with people other than the author replying. Also I agree with Nobody that you shouldn’t be quick to blame the map. I’m guilty of it as many map makers don’t know what they are doing but Fumbly is reputable and a trapping situation would be a large oversight for them I believe.

Also I like the laser aim assist provided by BEEmod and use it in most of my laser maps even if I could solve the map without the guide. Its not a necessity, but it helps.

Really hope you don’t just ignore this as the author didn’t ignore your initial comment. :p2cube:
Light Warrior 21 Jul, 2019 @ 8:13pm
Hi, pig face! Don't know who invited you to the conversation, but mistakes happen. Grow thicker skin kthxbye.
[author] It's not necessary at all in this chamber. I've never yet seen a use for it in P2. Still, seems to be an overall solid puzzle, if a bit straightforward.
Nobody No-One 21 Jul, 2019 @ 7:27pm
it would probably be a good idea to spend some more time considering whether you're actually trapped before you decide to lecture the author on what makes a good map; your first comment came off as very condescending and the fact that you weren't even trapped makes it worse.
Fumbly Bumbly  [author] 21 Jul, 2019 @ 7:23pm
The redirection cube has an aim assist, which is what the line protruding out from it is, courtesy of BEE2. I personally find it a very convenient feature for when laser receivers are difficult to align. It's not quite so necessary in this chamber in particular, but I may as well keep it consistent across all my puzzles.
Light Warrior 21 Jul, 2019 @ 7:18pm
Not spineless. I have nothing to hide.
I took a closer look, and I discovered that I was mistaken. I wasn't trapped.
The redirection cube has a line drawn out from it? Don't know if that's a glitch or intended, but it's annoying.
Nice chamber atmosphere overall.
Fumbly Bumbly  [author] 21 Jul, 2019 @ 6:39pm
There are no trapping situations as far as I know, but please tell me how if I am in error. If you could elaborate on your position or provide a screenshot, as opposed to spouting nothing more than a spineless claim, that would be appreciated.
Light Warrior 21 Jul, 2019 @ 6:28pm
I got trapped within the first ten seconds. Any good puzzle doesn't allow the player to get trapped at all.
lfairban 20 Jul, 2019 @ 1:52pm
Logic was easy, it flowed very well. Great puzzle.
Reika 17 Jul, 2019 @ 1:05pm
I loved this, but that last jump is rather fiddly: https://i.imgur.com/VjZLdtL.jpg

I spent quite some time getting to that open exit. Just the right difficulty to stay interesting and challenging for me. I liked the use all those different elements and the esthetics of the layout. Great map.
nock 11 Jul, 2019 @ 12:44am
Very nice map Fumbly - Was a little stuck in the middle, but it didn't take too long to see what I needed to do :)

Instant classic! Really clever puzzle with great usage of multiple elements and a very clever layout. Only thing I think could improve it is if the regular cube had another use. Overall though I think this is among my favourites of yours! Liked and faved :)
SteemStream 4 Jun, 2019 @ 9:19pm
A quite nice map, atleast to me seemed relatively straight forward just due to not many other options, but great ideas nonetheless.
Balders0691 1 Jun, 2019 @ 11:58am
Great looking chamber, and one that made me use a few more brains cells than normal.
Thanks for a another great level and keep them coming.
Fumbly Bumbly  [author] 31 May, 2019 @ 8:34pm
Thanks for playing, everyone!
@Narkodes Yes, it's to stop a slippery cube from twitching when redirecting the laser. I'm not entirely sure if any exploits would arise from it, but I thought I'd put it there just to be safe.
Narkodes 31 May, 2019 @ 12:21pm
Another nice chamber, well-done! Is the cleaning gel for preventing annoying cube behaviour (and avoiding exploits)?
Malfaction 29 May, 2019 @ 7:14am
Enjoyable map to solve. Had to put on my thinking cap. Thumbs up!
NOT A DOG 28 May, 2019 @ 10:03am
GENIUSS!!!
i freakin loved it!
and also very nice map,
just one question why is there a pointer on the reflective cube? (really nice tuch, but i dont even have to use it!)
Leo 27 May, 2019 @ 8:42am
Very good puzzle, nicely designed and with some clever moves. Great work!
It seems camerson beat me to it, but still here's my blind run (along with Bullet too): https://youtu.be/N3o5iwL8ReM
camerson1313 26 May, 2019 @ 7:52pm
Good map. A bit harder than some of your other recent ones, which is good.

Awesome map! A fav. Thanks
bullfrog 26 May, 2019 @ 1:53am
Great puzzle; not difficult, but does require thinking through. I was a bit nervous with the last move, knowing that if I died, loading a quick save would result in a clean lightbridge, but it worked fine. Definite thumbs up.
jgaultney 25 May, 2019 @ 4:22pm
Took me far too long to get my hands on that second cube. :) Thumbs up!
jandlml 25 May, 2019 @ 3:47pm
very nice puzzle. took me some thought :steamhappy:
SpKi 25 May, 2019 @ 1:56pm
Clever puzzle with amazing visuals. Thumbs up and added to favorites.
Nobody No-One 25 May, 2019 @ 8:33am
Nice update. The intended solution is indeed a lot more interesting. Thumbs up.
Fumbly Bumbly  [author] 25 May, 2019 @ 8:17am
Oops! Thanks for pointing that out, Nobody. Should be fixed now.
Nobody No-One 25 May, 2019 @ 7:59am
If I preserve a portal on the angled panel at the starting area, getting the second cube is extremely easy, and I can skip placing orange gel on the lowermost area: https://youtu.be/0B9hOesqAXM
On the other hand, if I lose that portal, I need to do a lot more steps and use the orange gel and the laser more. I guess that's closer to the intended solution.
Teo 25 May, 2019 @ 5:17am
Nice! I really like how this map's geometry presents most of the puzzle (as opposed to gratuitous fizzlers)
Mikeastro 25 May, 2019 @ 4:34am
Pretty cool map. Obtaining the second cube certainly took a bit of thought. Big thumbs up :]
jpackard1955 25 May, 2019 @ 3:31am
Your puzzles are absolutely among the best on here IMO.
Excellent work.
Fumbly Bumbly  [author] 25 May, 2019 @ 2:36am
Thanks for playing! The cleansing gel is only there for exploit prevention and convenience; it isn't part of the actual puzzle.
可砸 25 May, 2019 @ 1:53am
Nice puzzle! Is the clean water used for decoration? I didn't use it....
