Hi @Nifter71, wouldn't that be the Iron Bar Sloped Roof Triangle Inverted?
Nifter71 28. mar. kl. 11:45
Love the Jailor set! Would you consider adding an inverted triangle piece? :steamhappy:
Coolice 26. mar. kl. 12:07
@ shogakusha Ah yes never thought of that, That makes sense, forgot all about the door update in the latest update, I'll watch for that. Thanks again for all the support and info you are Awesome. And I do love your mod also.
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 26. mar. kl. 12:02
@Coolice, doors and gates were updated in base game to allow players to set them so Living Settlement Thralls cannot use them.

Any mod that includes doors or gates that is not updated to latest is likely to cause crashes.

We saw similar with beds back at the beginning of Age of Heroes when they added the control to stop thralls from using beds :-)

NO SLEEP FOR YOU!
Coolice 26. mar. kl. 10:54
I don't have Pythagoras mod installed I do have Glass Constructions and more...wonder if it might be that one that was causing the issue, I removed Arena Pier last night and problem went away, I'll wait and see if maybe Glass Constructions and more gets updated, just weird I have used all 3 mods together in the past and never had an issue on the server. It's my bad luck lol, I thank you for the info
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 26. mar. kl. 5:49
Hi @Coolice, does not appear to be an issue with my mod. I assume you are referring to the 2x2 gate frames or 2x2 gate doors from Arena Pier?

I just tested this, built new foundations, 2x2 gate frame and placed a 2x2 gate door without issue.

I am aware that there is an issue with Pythagoras mod, which the mod author is looking into. If you have Pythagoras mod loaded on your server, that may be the issue.

If you do not have Pythagoras mod loaded, I would invite you to my discord where I have a troubleshooting guide posted to help isolate problematic mods. But without more details, from my testing there is no server crash from my mods' doors or gates.
Coolice 25. mar. kl. 15:22
Needs maybe another update with the new March 25th 2025 update as when you place a Gateway and add the door server crashes every time
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 26. dec. 2024 kl. 5:14
Thanks @BSQ, I will make a note. With recipes changing in base game over time it is always a game of catch-up :-)
BSQ 23. dec. 2024 kl. 15:44
One of most useful mods IMO, but I would re-check requirenments for materials of some building pieces. For example vanilla stonebrick wall requires 2 iron reinforcements while half wall needs 4; vanilla staircase 3, half staircase: 7.
Crime is Mine 17. okt. 2024 kl. 12:52
Love your mod, thank you for updating!
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 5. aug. 2024 kl. 4:03
@Violenctcia glad you find it useful :-)
Violentcia 4. aug. 2024 kl. 23:48
Excellent Addition to our server. Thank you so much!
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 5. feb. 2024 kl. 14:18
@[TEST} FrankManic - glad to hear you are enjoying the mod! Arena Pier (and my other mods) are all about offering new building possibilities.
[TEST] FrankManic 5. feb. 2024 kl. 9:43
This is a wonderful addition to the crafting system that opens up so many possibilities. I simply could not have built my castle without it. Thank you so much!
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 23. nov. 2023 kl. 4:46
Hi @Kemur Duh Lemur, you should find base game Half Walls, Shallow Roof and Piers included within their respective Construction hammer sub-categories.

Sandstone Half Wall will be in the Sandstone sub-category, for example. But should bear the purple AP tag in the corner.
Kemur Duh Lemur 22. nov. 2023 kl. 7:26
Where do you find the half height walls of the vanilla building materials? Can't find them anywhere.
Fherrit 26. okt. 2023 kl. 15:02
Hope the # of posts aren't annoying you, but I thought I'd share what I discovered in case anyone else runs into the same problems as I did. It doesn't explain the initial discrepancy, but it does clear up the issue that persisted.

It turns out that an assumption on my part based on what I read about how mods are automatically updated is suspect. I had a outdated version of LPBR in my mod library, because I was told by subscribing, they auto update whenever a new release is posted. Multigun was kind enough to reply on the Discord that I should make sure my version of LPBR was current. When I took a closer look at the newest version # vs what was in my mod library, I immediately noticed what he suspected was the problem. Once I removed and updated LBPR to its current version, everything WAI once again.
Fherrit 21. okt. 2023 kl. 13:22
It's puzzled me to no end, but FWIW, I love your mod and am delighted to find out that its not the source of the bug. While LBPR has a lot of things I like, I mostly used it for the giant green arrow to save my sanity, but I can live without it. Your mod on the other hand, is on my "essential" list, so any work you do, is greatly appreciated.
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 21. okt. 2023 kl. 12:16
Hi Fherrit, I cannot explain your discrepancy. I do hope to get my build set mods pushed this weekend. With changes to doors in AoW ch2 for Purge and other stuff, it has been a large chunk of work to rebuild my various sliding doors to get them compatible, not to mention functioning at all.

Hopefully once I can push on latest devkit, things will settle down.
Fherrit 20. okt. 2023 kl. 12:59
Hello Shogakusha, apologies for the delay and thanks for having replied.

After Chptr 2, I backed up my game file, removed all mods, then using the back up game fresh each time I tried to isolate the mod causing the issue. I had Arena Pier 3.0.6, Pythag Expanded v2.2.1, and LBPR v 7.4.74 orded as instructed on Pythag's page with AP on top of the list. When all 3 were on, i couldn't deconstruct, and running them individually only when Arena Pier was active was I unable to deconstruct. I waited a few weeks to see if there were any further updates, still running all 3 as I wasn't playing much and I had built most things that I needed already.

Today the same testing method showed only with LBPR (on its own or in combination with the other two) did the bug return. AP on its own, or with Pythag, had no bug. I can't say why the results are different this time, but if there's a fault in my testing method, I'd be happy to follow any suggestions.
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 12. okt. 2023 kl. 7:56
Hi Fherrit, can you provide how you determined Arena Pier mod is causing inability to remove placed items with the construction hammer? I have tested on our test server and have no issue. Are there specific items you cannot deconstruct?

I will be updating in the near future. While updating my mods to latest devkit version there were some issues with some blueprints that got corrupted that are requiring me to rebuild them as I reported on my discord.
Fherrit 11. okt. 2023 kl. 15:07
This mod requires updating. With Chapter 2 AoW it now prevents deconstruction of placed items.
Melekaiah 2. okt. 2023 kl. 7:04
prolly gonna need a patch when you do get back since they stuffed up ont he acutal devkit (they had wrong version compared to what went live)
Viper 23. sep. 2023 kl. 21:44
cool man, looking forward to it! thanks
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 14. sep. 2023 kl. 6:47
I will be traveling and without internet for a couple weeks right around release of chapter 2. I will not be able to push updates at release.

My current LIVE mods have been tested in the current Public Beta Client on a server and show no overt issues, server starts up, player can build, buildings remain intact.

I will push some patches once I return in early October both for devkit parity and for a few minor updates or QoL stuff.
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 12. aug. 2023 kl. 17:16
Interesting, glad you were able to sort it out :-)
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 12. aug. 2023 kl. 11:02
@HauptmannAdler, I am not sure I understand? You mean when you load Arena Pier mod your normal purchased DLC building sets do not show up?
Bombur 18. juli 2023 kl. 7:12
Oh, damn :( .
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 17. juli 2023 kl. 12:03
Hi Bombur - you are not the first to make that suggestion. :-) Those sets are DLC and can be a significant challenge to match since DLC content is not available to modders. I have done a couple things where I felt I could get a reasonable match (Stormglass Piers)

But in general DLC is not something I can commonly replicate into my custom pieces.
Bombur 17. juli 2023 kl. 10:34
Hey! Sorry to drop like this with my suggestion, but do you think you could add shallow roofs, walls and caps for the Argossian and Aquilonian sets? Since they are respectively Greek and Roman themed, I fill like that is a huge thing missing from the game in those sets to build the
iconic temples.
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 15. juli 2023 kl. 4:18
Hi Leonardo, base game build set pieces like half walls show up under their respective build sets.

From change notes:
Construction Hammer Categories:
- Custom build pieces designed for base game build sets have been placed in those respective categories in the Construction hammer. You can still note the 'AP' tag in the upper left of the icons
- AP - Supports: this is the Corbels, Arch Supports, Braces and other things that play with stability
- AP - Scaffolding: This is the various Scaffolding build pieces
- AP - Jailor: This is the Iron Bar pieces in the Jailor feat
Leonardo 14. juli 2023 kl. 18:04
How strange, only the columns of your mod appear, everything else is not there
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 17. maj 2023 kl. 7:09
@BewitchedGamer - Not really, I don't edit any base game assets though obviously mods that alter build pieces (like LBPR) will need to be loaded after ;-)
BewitchedGamer 16. maj 2023 kl. 11:48
Is there a specific load order this needs to be in?
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 21. feb. 2023 kl. 5:34
Glad you like the pieces @Baby Goat, but I won't be splitting up the mod.
Baby Goat 20. feb. 2023 kl. 10:45
I wish I could just have the spiral stairs and the Shoji slide doorr in one mod only
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 6. feb. 2023 kl. 11:14
Tomorrow is patch day. In general testing, all 4 of my mods are functional (do not cause crash) in Testlive. Building is possible, no evidence of outright collapse of existing structures. Looking on the Mod Load page of the Funcom Launcher, the check mark remains present for the current mod versions, which is in keeping with Funcom comment that this patch should not require a general cook across the board to remain 'current'

With that in mind, I am going to leave my mods at their current release version for the time being. This will hopefully reduce some of the general patch day mayhem for modded servers. I am aware as mentioned above that there are some issues to be expected and so far nothing that I can do about them other than wait for a future Funcom patch.

**Known Issues:**
- Gate Frame (base game, 2x2, 1x2 Open Frame) may not want to place or may place oddly. Known base game issue. Funcom is aware and knows the solution but was not able to implement for this release.
Wingnut 13. jan. 2023 kl. 7:17
Sorry my mistake it was the actual DLC parts that are locked your mod is fine :)
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 13. jan. 2023 kl. 6:20
@Wingnut, which pieces? Can you send screenshot and full proper names of items you are referring to?

@acesahn Thanks for the kind words!
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 13. jan. 2023 kl. 5:13
@Wingnut No DLC required! :-)
acesahn 12. jan. 2023 kl. 17:41
Playing without this mod on a new server was torture after I got used to it... this mod isn't just good, its necessary! lol
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. 2023 kl. 9:05
@GamerBear66 There are indeed!
GamerBear66 9. jan. 2023 kl. 4:07
are there shallow roof pieces to go along with the shallow slopping walls?
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 3. dec. 2022 kl. 5:31
Hi @Sinan3181, the Bossonian building parts were moved to my Northern Timber mod with the full Bossonian build set. As noted in the Change Notes for Arena Pier 3.0.0

Item deprecated for move to other mods: (These may be available in game but should not be used)
- Bossonian build pieces moving to Northern Timber mod
- Stockade build pieces moving to Northern Timber mod
- Timberstone and Timberlog build pieces moving to Northern Timber mod
Sinan3181 2. dec. 2022 kl. 13:24
I was wondering why the Bossonian building parts are missing?
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 26. okt. 2022 kl. 17:49
Hey all - sorry been communicating on discord with all the mayhem. Seems Funcom slipped in an undocumented feature with today's 3.0.5 patch which is causing problems for both servers and clients updating mods from Steam.

There is a lot of discussion flying around on potential workarounds. Some seem to work.

People can join my discord to run through what has been discussed so far. This is impacting not just m updated mods but apparently all mods that have updated since 3.0.5 released this morning.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 17. sep. 2022 kl. 8:17
@tobias.jansson91, I am going to ask if you would join my discord to make this easier. Get me a screenshot please after confirming that you are running Arena Pier 3.0.2 on server and client.

On my discord is a channel #mod_troubleshooting_guide which helps to isolate problems to show they are due to a specific mod.

If you are indeed running Arena Pier 3.0.2 and still getting the 'corrupted' mod error, you are an outlier.
tobias.jansson91 17. sep. 2022 kl. 6:43
the same message as vlad19802003 but for me it says arena pier insted
shogakusha  [ophavsmand] 16. sep. 2022 kl. 6:46
No worries vlad, there is a lot of mayhem :-)
