Any mod that includes doors or gates that is not updated to latest is likely to cause crashes.
We saw similar with beds back at the beginning of Age of Heroes when they added the control to stop thralls from using beds :-)
NO SLEEP FOR YOU!
I just tested this, built new foundations, 2x2 gate frame and placed a 2x2 gate door without issue.
I am aware that there is an issue with Pythagoras mod, which the mod author is looking into. If you have Pythagoras mod loaded on your server, that may be the issue.
If you do not have Pythagoras mod loaded, I would invite you to my discord where I have a troubleshooting guide posted to help isolate problematic mods. But without more details, from my testing there is no server crash from my mods' doors or gates.
Sandstone Half Wall will be in the Sandstone sub-category, for example. But should bear the purple AP tag in the corner.
It turns out that an assumption on my part based on what I read about how mods are automatically updated is suspect. I had a outdated version of LPBR in my mod library, because I was told by subscribing, they auto update whenever a new release is posted. Multigun was kind enough to reply on the Discord that I should make sure my version of LPBR was current. When I took a closer look at the newest version # vs what was in my mod library, I immediately noticed what he suspected was the problem. Once I removed and updated LBPR to its current version, everything WAI once again.
Hopefully once I can push on latest devkit, things will settle down.
After Chptr 2, I backed up my game file, removed all mods, then using the back up game fresh each time I tried to isolate the mod causing the issue. I had Arena Pier 3.0.6, Pythag Expanded v2.2.1, and LBPR v 7.4.74 orded as instructed on Pythag's page with AP on top of the list. When all 3 were on, i couldn't deconstruct, and running them individually only when Arena Pier was active was I unable to deconstruct. I waited a few weeks to see if there were any further updates, still running all 3 as I wasn't playing much and I had built most things that I needed already.
Today the same testing method showed only with LBPR (on its own or in combination with the other two) did the bug return. AP on its own, or with Pythag, had no bug. I can't say why the results are different this time, but if there's a fault in my testing method, I'd be happy to follow any suggestions.
I will be updating in the near future. While updating my mods to latest devkit version there were some issues with some blueprints that got corrupted that are requiring me to rebuild them as I reported on my discord.
My current LIVE mods have been tested in the current Public Beta Client on a server and show no overt issues, server starts up, player can build, buildings remain intact.
I will push some patches once I return in early October both for devkit parity and for a few minor updates or QoL stuff.
But in general DLC is not something I can commonly replicate into my custom pieces.
iconic temples.
From change notes:
Construction Hammer Categories:
- Custom build pieces designed for base game build sets have been placed in those respective categories in the Construction hammer. You can still note the 'AP' tag in the upper left of the icons
- AP - Supports: this is the Corbels, Arch Supports, Braces and other things that play with stability
- AP - Scaffolding: This is the various Scaffolding build pieces
- AP - Jailor: This is the Iron Bar pieces in the Jailor feat
With that in mind, I am going to leave my mods at their current release version for the time being. This will hopefully reduce some of the general patch day mayhem for modded servers. I am aware as mentioned above that there are some issues to be expected and so far nothing that I can do about them other than wait for a future Funcom patch.
**Known Issues:**
- Gate Frame (base game, 2x2, 1x2 Open Frame) may not want to place or may place oddly. Known base game issue. Funcom is aware and knows the solution but was not able to implement for this release.

Item deprecated for move to other mods: (These may be available in game but should not be used)
- Bossonian build pieces moving to Northern Timber mod
- Stockade build pieces moving to Northern Timber mod
- Timberstone and Timberlog build pieces moving to Northern Timber mod
There is a lot of discussion flying around on potential workarounds. Some seem to work.
People can join my discord to run through what has been discussed so far. This is impacting not just m updated mods but apparently all mods that have updated since 3.0.5 released this morning.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
On my discord is a channel #mod_troubleshooting_guide which helps to isolate problems to show they are due to a specific mod.
If you are indeed running Arena Pier 3.0.2 and still getting the 'corrupted' mod error, you are an outlier.
