As i recently had the event that one of your courtiers is in fact a bear. And that courtier being son and heir. Im now playing as the Bear-king dynasty of France. It make me want diversity to my bears, this would be great!!!

also, i think the dragons are broken. sometimes it just showed the eyes, not the head, wings, etc.

if anyone wants to play as an animal race i think i found a way, at least for horses or bears:
(you also need console commands)
set two young adult people in your nation to an animal culture, for example, type in:

"characterinfo"

then hover over one of the two characters. there should be an ID for them.
"culture *ID* *animal culture*

to find the animal cultures, you can look at this article about all the cultures in the game here:
https://ck2.paradoxwikis.com/Culture

if you did it right, the character's culture should be the animal culture you choose!

repeat this with the other character. make sure they are a spouse of the first.

the two characters, if they have offspring, should give birth to a character of the animal race. this seems to work because the animal races also take into account parent culture, so if one or both of the parents have an animal culture, it will influence the ethnicity, which dictates race.

But even when you don't own Holy Fury, you can just start a regular game and change your rulers graphical culture with console commands (have a look at the wiki for that). Have fun.

Ah, that's the problem. You need Holy Fury, then go to randomized world, then cultures and click the "right arrow" a bunch of times until "Animal World/Kingdom" comes up. It's a hidden feature.

That's weird. I've got 3.3.0, but 3.2.2 should be fine as well. Maybe other mods? And it doesn't effect any animal culture?

I don't use any other graphics mods. Mod does not load after turning it on in the tab loads to me a normal game without this modification. the version I'm playing on is 3.2.2

@Grumpy Grenade: Yes. It just adds much needed diversity to the vanilla animal graphical cultures, which is why it's ironman compatible. I'm not sure if you're aware that vanilla ck2 contains all these animal cultures (as real cultures such as Basque or German, and as graphical culture (horsegfx)). Question:

Does this mod only over-ride the apparal culture? Or does it also override the culture as well?
So can one still e.g. be a Basque or German ruler and just the apparel changed? Or do they come with Culture: Duck etc?

@DAOWAce: The appearance is determined by the characters DNA, so there's no in game method.If you are not in ironman, you can edit the save game and change it, otherwise I know of no method.

@Quis Machina: That would break ironman. So this mod will not change such things. There are however some ruler designer mods and as far as I know some of them allow you to pick hidden cultures as well.
