You need one of the main Better Looking Garbs mods, you do not need both.

The steam download is also on the latest version. They got inconsistent on naming this release.

I do want to update this and BLG main, but if 0.3 is the SVN version of EKs I think I only have the steam version that's 0.24.

Guess what I'm saying is do I need the SVN version or can I use the steam version and go ahead and update BLG base and this mod?

They are determined by blgccelderkings/common/scripted_triggers/blg_clothing.txt in the blg_face_jewelry trigger.

Hi, I love this mod but I'm having one issue. The little pearls/jewels/piercings at the corners of the mouth and forehead on many women seem a tad too common for my taste. I can sometimes remove them in the customizer but it seems unreliable and I sometimes can't seem to get rid of them no matter what I cycle through. I've been trying to isolate where they are exactly so I can either remove them in the customizer easier or find them in the files. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Updating the original 01_ek_on_actions.txt and replacing celticgfx with frankishgfx should do the trick.

yes also this happens with skaal(skaal newborns have nord gfx_culture). Which isnt much of an issue since nords and skaal look similar.

I reused the original primary graphical culture types because there were several places those got tested. I see the Bretons use the outdated celticgfx instead of frankishgfx, are they where the children are bugged?

yo, common/on_actions/01_ek_on_actions.txt in on_post_birth the mod assigns gfx_culture to newborn, but instead of dynamically assigning it, it lists ALL graphicalculturetypes. This is fine in vanilla but BLG breaks it so all newborn children are assigned random ethnicities not related to any of their parents. thought youd like to know

Still with that there was a version without the portraits, mainly because Better Looking Garbs is a dependancy and I only want get the Cultural Cities stuff.

I see EK units includes a Nord portrait replacement. Delete their interface/portraits_norse.gfx and the gfx directory.

The mod does not work for me. All characters have no religion. In High Rock, most of the provinces are empty. Also some of the characters possess culture from the vanilla game. What to do?

One issue I see is that the numbers above 15 are only useful on the custom hair- and beardstyles for the non-humans.

Running with only EKSVN, BLG full, and this submod. All graphics are working perfectly but I can't get the appearance customiser to work for hair and beards for Imperials, Nibenean, and Nords (oddly enough it works for Daedra). I can see the ca_hair and ca_beard values changing but it has no effects on the portraits. I took a look at 01_hair.txt and 04_beard.txt and they don't look much different from the BLG Winter King submod's (since the customiser worked fine there), so I really don't know where the problem is. The only fix I can think of is copying 01_hair.txt and 04_beard.txt into EKSVN's 00_portrait_properties.txt but that'll get reset whenever the EK devs update it in the repository. Any ideas mate?

@nendur I turned on BLG full and that worked! I can also access beards at the barber which I couldnt do without the mod. It does however seem to have changed random COA's & flags

@nendur no. I thought that would conflict. I'll give that a try. FWIW the last year or so I've had problems w/ any mod mod that requires a rollback. I think its a steam issue. Usually its flags/coa or the map in some cases.
