scratch that part about those foods...I cant find them in avali triage or avali plus, got their IDs? are you sure they're from avali? if there from a diff avali mod I need to know which

just to make it clear: I'm basically retired from SB modding. barring a few bugfixes here and there
this patch doesnt do anything for BYOS, and likely never will.
the two food items, I can fix.
the quest issue...is probably better brought up in the FU discord bug channel with a full log, as all that sounds like is an anti-exploit patch triggering, but it shouldn't trigger that unless you're freshly updating from a save that didnt have the fix to begin with.

Hello Khe, it seem there is a problem with side quests my friend often have the bug that fail to load his side quests and he need to pick it up again with your name after, what can i do ?

I have both this and the official patch and I'm still getting the "your ship background will be permanently visible" warning. Does this patch not include BYOS support?

found two food items that are requesting their original ingredients instead of the FU counterparts, the meaty mulli pod and the sweet&sour&spicy&salty 'trailmix'. can these be fixed?

@Rynnex Do you have the XS Avali mech mod installed? as that might fix it by uninstalling those mods.

@Rynnex I know this answer is months late but I have this patch installed along with instant crafting & avali camps on frackin' planets & Avali Objects+ and the torch recipe showed up along with everything else and could even craft torches.
Now what I do after every batch of mods I install is Verify the game files thru steam.
Or unsubscribe & resubscribe when it doesnt break the game.
But verifying files before booting up the game after installing mods I find really helps there be less problms.

Idk how many mods u had installed at the time but definitely either an installation error on steams part of a mod incompatibility frm somewhere else.

So for Avali I noticed that the recipe for torches is missing pretty sure this ain't intentional for obvious reasons.

No idea how to go about fixing it & or if it's just F.U. being the problem but it would be appreciated if it could be looked into.

Just a reminder: if you want correctly working BYOS for Avali, you need to install "[OFFICIAL] FU BYOS Modded Race Patch".

well, I'm removing the bed tags from this mod as avali triage added bed tags. currently they are in 'avalichamber1' 'avalicushion2' 'avalihammock1', cushion 2 is pillow

what beds have the Bed tag on them? Ive made an avali themed room with the Pillow but it does not seem to work with the MKII colony deeds.

tl;dr game trying to open/swap item in a container when the container is 'not found' in some manner. vanilla, not related to a mod from what I remember. solution is to not move away from a container until you close its UI.

"this mod causes my game to crash, removing it causes the game to not crash" yes, clearly something about having this mod is causing you to crash. you should provide a log from a crashing session via pastebin, so I can look. if you don't know how, then...find your SB folder, go into 'storage' and find the starbound.txt file (if you have extensions hidden it'll just be starbound). open it, put contents in pastebin, give link here.

This specific mod causes the game to crash. I know cause I removed every other mod and it still crashed but when I removed this mod it worked fine. So no fluffy raptors for me. Sad.

better off asking that in the FU discord, I don't really know much about BYOS or how it functions, other than how individual parts apply their stats (Because I had to fix that up at one point)

not case closed, if you're using avali from steam and fu from github. pretty sure starbound is stupid and forcibly loads workshop mods after everything else. anyway, the UI issue is resolved on our end. I removed those UI files from FU.

Ben trying to recreate the overlap for 7 hours by now, yet for some reason avali now load after FU either with or without my fix. Looks like something was changed on FU side, as it now loads prior to everything else.
So, case closed, I guess...?

avali craft stations do not use 'vanilla' interfaces, they use avali ones, and FU for some reason overwrites them. i'm bringing it up with the team to find out why, because this is nonsensical

If the problem would be just UI's, I would've made the patch myself already. This bug will remain as long as FU would keep a copy of avali files in itself.
Also what paths do you want? Avali craftstations use vanilla interfaces, not FUI

So item sorting is realy more important than, you know, functionality of the mod?
Like, FU is constantly updating, yes, but it is FU and NOT any of the avali files within it specificly. Yes, FU might have itself a higher number in "version" line, but the avali files within it are ages behind. Fevix might be slow on update, I give you that, but he at least, you know, actualy updates, albeit once per century.
As to comparing - hear me out and do this:
1) Have FU
2) Have Avali
3) Have any custom ship, like SOMA or racial replacers (except for my Jackalope, I already added priority to it)

99 times out of 100 if FU loads after Avali overwriting it, you'll get all three avali crafting stations bug out, but change the load order for Avali to load after FU, and all of a sudden everything is back to normal. Magic, isn't it?

I do not specifically prioritize triage after seeing how the materials were handled. I use FU's because the avali triage descriptions were crap and the tiles were missing category information, which ruined item sorting. I've also made some objects which didnt have proper colorizer tagging, have it.

Avali triage has the issue of being outdated in several respects because it is a 'triage' mod (meaning it is largely only changed when it is required) and fevix tends to be very lazy about changing anything, whereas FU still updates regularly several years later.

And I reiterate: PROVIDE a LIST of FILES to compare. Or git gud (pun!) and use github to help get things in line. If you do use github, I will be scrutinizing every change you make.

TLDR - Avali (Triage) should be prioritised as this is the updated main version of the mod. FU only has vastly outdated bits and pieces that don't even work correctly most of the time

How can "the avali triage ones be the outdated ones" if that mode is active, while Sayter hasn't updated his copy in ages? And why even IS there a copy of avali files in FU in the first place?! Why isn't it active in the game if it is there, why does it needs base mod if it is a "valid" copy?
Dam, just go to github and compare the two. Sayter copied avali, like, aeons ago, even before Triage actualy took the mod. Right now there is new stuff in the mod, new weaponry, some balance changes, etc.
