Hi Demsocks,
How close is this to being Final? Just thought I would ask you.
Cheers.

Hi DemSocks :steamhappy:

I really appreciate what you have done so far with this route and the obvious time and effort you have put into making it. Are you still actively developing/updating this route? Just that I noticed you have the GWR branch route as well and I was wondering if we can expect an update in the future.

Thanks for the great work you do!

HOW DO YOU GET IT GOWING

Patch 15 Jan, 2023 @ 12:18pm
Will not having weardale and teesdale affect the game?
A1GreatNorthern1470 27 Aug, 2021 @ 2:23pm
id love to create workshop scenarios for this
kj_lewis 6 Jul, 2021 @ 10:28am
Oh, thanks for the clarification DemSocks
DemSocks  [author] 4 Jul, 2021 @ 10:22am
@kj_lewis: I haven't made any QD scenarios anyway; I always jump into a route from the route editor tab
kj_lewis 4 Jul, 2021 @ 4:51am
That could be causing issues with the route not showing up in Quick Drive.
DemSocks  [author] 4 Jul, 2021 @ 4:11am
@kj_lewis Something to do with the freeroam scenario I use on the route; it doesn't have anything to do with the route itself.
kj_lewis 3 Jul, 2021 @ 11:12am
BTW, there seems to be a requirement For the Duchess Of Hamilton Add-on when i look in the workshop tab.
we1330 30 Apr, 2021 @ 8:52am
Thank you DemSocks - I could only access it by creating a quick Free Roam scenario, the Quick Drive one doesn't appear for me in the Quick Drive menu. From the little I've seen, this route is fantastic!.
DemSocks  [author] 30 Apr, 2021 @ 8:05am
@we1330 If you look in the route builder tab it should be named "An LMS Route"; also check in the workshop tab to see if the game knows the route is there. If it's there try reinstalling it from the workshop. Hope this helps.
we1330 30 Apr, 2021 @ 8:00am
I have subscribed to the route, and have it in my routes folder, however I cannot see it by name when I search for the route when trying to find it in the sim. Can you advise, please?.
we1330 30 Apr, 2021 @ 7:58am
Ooh - Barrow Road!...
DemSocks  [author] 24 Apr, 2021 @ 3:40am
@Revarnes I have been a little distracted with other projects this year so LMS Route has sadly taken a back seat. I think I should probably stop with more extensions so I guess the track is nearly finished; maybe one more update and it's done.
Revarnes 24 Apr, 2021 @ 2:26am
Hey demsocks, good looking route so far. Has the track layout been finalised, or have you planned further extensions?

As for the Scenario creating possibilities, i'm still having fun creating scenarios with your previous Temsby branch route, but I am running out of ideas lately, hah. Do you have any estimates regarding the final release of the route? :-)

Cheers - Revarnes

Hello socks I thought you had finished with trainsimulator after doing most of temsby but then I found this looking very nice and big.
ex-railwayman 22 Dec, 2020 @ 10:09am
Thank you for this new update just before Christmas, you certainly deserve a well earned break now. Stay safe and enjoy yourself as best you can under the circumstances, have a great time.
johnlambert42 2 Dec, 2020 @ 7:31am
Thank you for the update. Super route!
johnlambert42 8 Nov, 2020 @ 3:59am
Thank you DemSocks. I will give that a try.
DemSocks  [author] 7 Nov, 2020 @ 10:24am
@ex-railwayman - Thank you for your kind words. I had a whoops and lost the entire route, only able to download it from the workshop which just about saved it. Not sure on the route properties file? I have never worried about it in the past
DemSocks  [author] 7 Nov, 2020 @ 10:21am
@Johnlambert42 - You can find the route in the "Route Editor" tab which will give you access to the route where you can make a scenario. Hope this helps
johnlambert42 7 Nov, 2020 @ 7:36am
Hello! I have tried hard, but I cannot see this route in Trainsim .It is listed under"Workshop"and I can find the route in TS Tools, but I can find no listing under "Quick Drive", "Standard" etc.and I cannot find a way to open the route. From the other comments here and the screenshots it looks just the sort of route that I would spend a lot of time on. I would be most grateful for any help or advice from anyone that would help me sort this out. Many Thanks, John
ex-railwayman 7 Nov, 2020 @ 6:09am
The RouteProperties.xml Document isn't reading correctly in the Content folder, however, that doesn't stop anyone from playing on the route as such, but, I thought I'd just mention it. Will keep an avid eye on this route for the future, it's magnificent, and is worthy of an award, well done and huge thanks for your hard work for the community.
harryharry32 5 Nov, 2020 @ 10:28am
is the Metro/line needed as its the only one i don't have.TIA.
ex-railwayman 19 Sep, 2020 @ 12:05pm
I've been collecting routes from this Workshop for nearly 11 years and this is one of the very best British layouts I've ever seen, even though I appreciate it is still a WIP. Your attention to detail is quite phenomenal and with so much track and goods facilities and stations included it serves just about everyone's tastes. I really hope you can carry on with this, it's fabulous, many thanks for the free offerings you've given the community so far, you appear to get better with experience, well done on such an entertaining route.
jonnycuba 16 Aug, 2020 @ 2:33am
Love this route! Really enjoy it.
Not.Silent 25 May, 2020 @ 5:21am
Have you ever seen the film Tread Softly Stranger? Look it up. My grandparents lived on the street in the film, with the steel works at the back. I stayed there in my school holidays. Parkgate Steelworks, Rawmarsh.
Not.Silent 25 May, 2020 @ 5:17am
OK then Demsocks, I have subscribed and will give you some good old fashioned constructive feedback in the next few days. Cheers.
Lucas The Fox 21 May, 2020 @ 9:38pm
aright thanks
DemSocks  [author] 21 May, 2020 @ 12:08pm
@Lucas The Fox - An LMS Route. Check in the workshop section to see if its installed correctly then you should be able to find it in the route or scenario editor.
Lucas The Fox 21 May, 2020 @ 10:09am
whats the route called in-game? i can't find it
sneed's feed & seed 2 May, 2020 @ 8:50am
This looks fantastic already! I've been following the livestreams and the videos quite closely. It's somewhat inspired me to try my own hand at routebuilding. Hats off to this, can't wait to see where it goes next!
notorne 30 Apr, 2020 @ 3:37am
Does it, oh fare enough then
DemSocks  [author] 30 Apr, 2020 @ 3:35am
@RHDR Railfan - I only use that DLC for the easements so I should really change them so I can remove the DLC from the requirements; EK has easements anyway
notorne 30 Apr, 2020 @ 3:18am
Easements shouldn't be necessary, leave them in and it'll save you the job of taking them out.
DemSocks  [author] 30 Apr, 2020 @ 2:34am
@RHDR Railfan - All you are missing is the track rules for the loops that allow for easements; i should really change it
notorne 30 Apr, 2020 @ 12:07am
@Revarnes I am missing that but the route really hasn't lost it's charm, although it would be nice just to see how much better it looks with the DLC
Revarnes 29 Apr, 2020 @ 4:44pm
@Demsocks - Great Western Line - Plymouth to Penzance
DemSocks  [author] 29 Apr, 2020 @ 2:20pm
@Revames - what you missing bro?
Revarnes 29 Apr, 2020 @ 2:16pm
Ah this is a bummer. I'm not gonna able to play this anytime soon, as i dont have the last DLC listed. Hopefully i will have spare funds so i can buy the last one to try out this route, soon :)
eloveridge 24 Apr, 2020 @ 2:55pm
Great route all round can not wait for the next update of this route as it is very well built and has me hook to rout build again :steamhappy:
notorne 23 Apr, 2020 @ 11:20pm
Great route, I've been following progress on YouTube. Looking forward to future scenarios.
