Blindrun
Easy but cool. Cheesed at the end before taking a very quick break to remember, on my own, that light bridges exist and are useful .

Difficulty: 3.25/10
Enjoyed: 7.5/10

Why is this map banned
?

I'm also getting the Engine error. 'Cannot load corrupted map'. Anyone know how to get this map out of the way in Quick Load, as it always pulls this down next and obviously need to bypass this one?
Nothingface 15 Dec, 2019 @ 6:07pm
Engine error. Cannot load corrupted map.

Game crashed.

19 mins. I could vaguely see the solution before me, but I had to actually do it to be sure it would work. And sure enough. I did it by swapping the role of the cubes at the end

Well done. Swapping the cubes is the key . Thanks for this
bullfrog 18 Jan, 2017 @ 2:43am
Brilliant. Took me quite a while to work out if I put it on that above there then removed that ;) I could get to the exit

Ingenious!

Wow. This chamber took me too long to solve. Well made! The solution was simple, yet thought provoking.
I don't agree with the criticisms that the chamber needs more details like tubes and vents. I saw plenty such things anyway. I figure that the chamber is a snapshot of Wheatley's reign (and we get to see only one chamber for the time being) in the progression of chambers. More important, to me, is that the chamber executes well (and is devoid of unnecessary elements, is [nearly] impossible to trap oneself, etc.).

Great job and excellent map! Found what I think is a Portal 2 anomoly: After placing the cube on the light bridge above the button in the exit room, I F6 saved my progress. When I next moved the light bridge to allow the cube to fall, it suspended itself in mid-air! I had to reposition it above the button and then NOT save the game before moving the light bridge allowing the cube to land on the button. Thanks for grreat work!

Whenever I launch the game and I see a map by Ben 77 being loaded, I always relish in anticipation and rub my hands thinking "All right! This is going to be a good one". And as always, I was thouroughly pleased with it. Awesome work dude!! :steamhappy:

I thought I was clever using the turret on Wheatley, but I see that was the author's intention. I solved for the most part as intended, though it's not necessary to portal into the button room. The button can be pushed from outside. Placing the button farther from the hole would fix that. There is a third way to solve, though more frustrating and time-consuming than the intended ways. Balance the cube *just so* on the lip of the pressure plate, stand on the platform and wait for a tremor to vibrate it onto the plate and raise the platform. It's easier to figure out one of the intended ways!

Great test. It's certainly a lot more straightforward than the last, but you definitely need to think.

Nice puzzle man, really enjoyed =D, but the textures are a little boring to look... you could add more texture variation into those walls. :tgrin:

I could only figure out one way to solve. Off to the walkthroughs to see what the other ways were. Just watched your solution and Ace Ryder's. I solved like Ace Ryder.

Solved it like Ace Ryder (I had made a map that used that method, so that was the 1st thing that came to mind).
