@Jozef: I went with a very simple solution. Red Alert has a faction which is pink, so I copied those values over.

The first two values in the XYZ are hue and saturation. You could open one of the unit textures in an image editor and see if changing hue and saturation in the editor ends up the same as in the game.

Could you explain how you added the right colour? How do you convert RGB to the XYZ used within HSVShift?

Hmm, I didn't test this for skirmish play, only campaign and missions. Do you get this colour if you choose the normal gold GDI colour in skirmish?

I can't seem to choose this color in skirmish mode even when I have the remastered graphics on.
