@hottt3 yep! As the description says, "IBPFA can be used to substitute other invisible part mods" and that includes acting as the dependency for mods that list one of the others as a requirement.

How do I stop this mod from overriding and making changes whenever I get a research upgrade for the hero units, they just lose their current clothes. Most notably 2 mods I have downloaded depend on this being the halo mod and claus hero compendium. I'm pretty tired of having to change this back and forward again and again

Mods in AML that list this as it's dependency are not recognizing it. Also it won't let me open the steam page from the mod

It's likely using a custom CharacterTemplate that isn't the usual Soldier, ReaperSoldier, SkirmisherSoldier or TemplarSoldier, which are the 4 CharacterTemplates the invisible heads are allowed to be used on.

Since i have no clue if the bCanUseOnCivilian setting set to False actually prevents head parts from generating on civilians and other non-soldiers, i additionally restricted their use to only being allowed on the 4 base game soldier types, which works for this purpose, but creates problems in cases like this where a mod adds a unique type of character.

Not sure how i'll approach this, given that there's probably quite a few mods that add their own CharacterTemplates i'd have to cover, and i'd want to make 100% sure removing the CharacterTemplate restrictions wouldn't make the heads start appearing on every other non-soldier character.

I have a problem after this mod update to 1.3. I can't set invisible head on this mod Duke Nukem - Class & Character .

Back in 1.2 I can set the invisible head in race 0 just fine. But, after the mod updated to 1.3, I can't find invisible head at all even when select other race 1,2,3. However, the other soldier can be use just fine, it just the Duke character only

I don't know if UCR has invisible / empty parts for every slot as i haven't used it in forever, so i don't know. Maybe, maybe not.

Ah, i stand corrected. The problem was that i made new head entries for v1.3, and i had copied their internal archetypes from the existing heads, one for each race and gender.

They were still using the additive animations (the things that change the shape of the head) they had by default, like 'ADD_AfrMale_A' and such, instead of the neutral additive that doesn't do any shape changing, which is why all of those heads were suddenly out of whack. That's now fixed.

As for skin tone, there shouldn't be anything wrong, i didn't change the internal skin color setting on any of them after copying them and i believe that's how it was even before v1.3.

@mhmtkfz This has nothing to do with IBPFA, i'm testing some of those characters now and that's just how they are.

well that odd since they're now available to the prototype armor now (including the Leg part)

What I am aware of is that the head part of the character is now hidden due to race(invisible caucasian head).For example, we need to use your mod to make Asthye's character models work properly in the game, and before the update came, each of the characters looked good, but after the update, the characters' eyes started to look upwards(Joel miller,Leon Kennedy,Nathan drake,Ellie)I can take a screenshot if you want.Also, Joel and Nathan's arms and legs became black, but since we were allowed to change the skin color, I solved the problem, but the characters' eyes are not corrected.

After the update, my character models' eyes and eyelashes shifted. (it ruined most of the character models made by Asthye) Is it possible for you to share the old version? "v1.2"

Considering the v1.1 config effectively no longer exists unless someone had a local copy of it somewhere, yes, that's the intent.

Max, the google file is 8240 characters while the NIHORC config on my computer is 13351 and directly mentions 1.1 Invisible, heads. For example, after line 60 it says "More Invisible Body Parts v1.1 (includes all the invis part you need, no other invis mods required, period)" and goes. The new file doesn't have this. That's the intent?

I've noticed that the Leg parts isn't available to every armor like the resistance warrior armor unlike the left & right arm part

when I uninstall the clean full body armor mod so I can have the none full body outfits show up (like the classic armor) not break the outfit when I equip it in game it was the only one with invisible pieces

Currently noticing in a brand new game that if I am using any armor besides the basic Kevlar (so both the Resistance Fighter Kevlar and the Improvised armors from TLP), for any slots where an invisible body part could be used, the entire list is missing up to the point of and including the invisible part, essentially making any remaining options "stuck" on the character as there is no invisible part or other options to click to remove them.

Given I can the full list of options and it's repeatedly on these parts that the options bug out, it seems that this mod has some issues with the non-default armors. I figure this shouldn't be happening, due to the bAnyArmor bool, so I'm currently trying to sort out if this is being caused by another mod, but my mod list is relatively small and I'm not finding any conflicts so far.

I just spent a while testing this with NIHoR and a large modlist, finally stripped it down to just the two mods and highlander and it still gives random starting soldiers with invisible parts. Using AML, the 1.2 config files, tried resubbing and I looked through the code and saw no errors. Am I missing something? maybe NIHoR's script broke from an update?

Fantastic mod! Question: does this work as a replacement for Invisible Parts For Hero Units and Completely Invisible Heads for cosmetic mods that list them as dependencies? I’m playing WotC, specifically Long War of the Chosen.

I kinda wanted to re-do this mod's config files entirely to be honest, i set them up like shit when i first made this.

But i also can't really do that because, y'know, 73k+ people use this and it'd fuck up their entire barracks.

Anyway to allow any armor set to equip this without using unrestricted customization. I'm using Iridars Appearance Manager and it doesn't play nice with that mod.

Out of curiosity, does anyone here know how to prevent the invisible heads on randoms that appear in the player base? Seems the "No Invisible Heads On Randoms" works for soldiers and recruits, perfectly fine. Though not for the randoms that appear in the player base.

Having a problem with heads, i cant get heads to not be invisible, try changing race, but head stays invisible. Literally cannot unselect invisible

I think there may be one exception. I don't think it works reliably on the first new soldiers generated for the Gatecrasher mission. I still see some Hive/Invis parts on them, though the frequency is vastly lower that before, like 1 in 20 instead of half the time. Seems to work perfectly on any chars generated after Gatecrasher, though. Worst case one might have to tweak 2-3 chars up front but after that everything new in the barracks will be clean.

It does seem to actually work, judging by the 10+ soldiers i generated in my char pool not having any invisible parts. Added to the main mod.

There's a mod called No Invisible Heads On Randoms which will stop these parts spawning on procgen characters like new soldiers or VIPs. Check the comments of that mod and you can find my updated config file that includes all of the body parts from this mod.

Hi! Would be possible to officially include support for the Resistance and TLE Armors? Because some mods like GrimStyle and Iridar's Jet Packs add parts that appear when using these armors, but there's no Invisible options available for any of these... so it's clipping fest. :SBHorse:
