Replayed it today. Good map, But a bit too long.

Great map. Not too hard, but the moves once you get both cubes are very clever and take some planning. This map might have the best use of an oscillating rail platform that I've seen. Thumbs up.

That was uncommonly good. There were no unusual mechanics and the logic flowed very well. There were may tricky plot twists.

Great puzzle; very clever. I worked out what need to be done fairly quickly, but doing it was a bit finicky so perhaps I did it wrong. Unfortunately I can't view your twitch walkthrough to find out.

This was great. Took me a couple of hours to think to the right order and when sacrifice the cube . A lot of retryies. Very challenging, medium to almost hard, but not hard to give up. My brain needs a pause. Brilliant and clever. I'm appreciating most of your maps. You deserve more subscriptions and votes for the brilliant test chamber you make. Favorite one. Keep on the good work and thanks.

Maybe the space from which you plan everything could have been set up differently to enhance the experience. Other than that I had a great time solving this one :)

that was a great map. took me 2 days to figure out the solution but i got it. pretty sure its the intended way.

Very clever puzzle !

Wow, i absolutely loved this puzzle. Pleyed it for a few hours until my brain could not figure out anything. Had a good nights sleep and solved it the next day :-).

Dang, when did you get into making such tricky tests? This one stumped me...until after watching the solution vid I found that one small piece of the puzzle I was missing and possibly why: It didn't quite occur to me to respawn the cube by dropping it into the goo. A fizzler might've been a better hint.

Anyway, excellent work.

I was able to solve this unintended for sure, and I didn't need to hold the cube on the moving platform. I could just hold it myself while being on the platform.

My solution is a close match to your solution. It is pretty much the same ideas getting the cubes on the other side. I did each cube individually instead of both at the same time. With the cube sacrificed, I pulled it back with the orange funnel allowing the companion cube to stay in the blue funnel not redirected. After obtaining the first cube, I redirected the blue funnel with the cube inside and got the other. It is a little more work compared to your solution but the method to get the cubes is the same.

I found this to be a hard version of Mevious's submission "Barrier" with a sacrifice-the-cube and double-duty element for the cubes . It was a little finnicky to get it to work but was clever. The final cube drop to get it to the side you wanted it on was part of that problem.

totally no clue if I did this intended, but it was fun! Thanks!

Well done, nice and linear, I was never confused about where I needed to be, what needed to be done, and in what order things needed to take place.

Beautiful map, I spent more time to understand the different ways that could take the cubes with the tractor beam and what cube should be on the platform. Then, the resolution was fast. difficult map. Gave me a headache ! :-) Can you try my map please ? http://cs2bus.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=212948330
(It was designed well before the contest and therefore could not participate T_T)

My alternate solution

@DeathWish808 nice one ;-)
Lawliet  [author] 30 Jan, 2014 @ 11:57pm
Embah, that's exactly as intended.
Lawliet  [author] 30 Jan, 2014 @ 11:55pm
Fixed it
DeathWish808 30 Jan, 2014 @ 8:39pm
I broke it again out of pure stubbornness. I deleted 5 minutes worth of video on this one as it was me just trying to get portals to "stick". I did it again after this and was able to do it much easier after I figured out a better angle and used the blue funnel as you'll see I did near the end of this video. I'm pretty certain I know the intended way and I can upload that if you want, but I feel that would be pointless since, well, you know what it is.
The fix for this solution would take about 3 seconds in the editor, but this way is so ridiculous compared to how I think you intended it that it would be a waste of time.

Not 100% sure I finished it as intended, but I'm sure you'll let me know.
