Amazing work! The best toponymy mod out there!! Would love if it had better compatibility with some cultures that have unique name lists in CE and RICE though :c (like Dalmatian, Arpitan, RICE siberian cultures, etc)

@Trench You're welcome :) I'm currently in maintenance mode, unfortunately I don't have much capacity for new content right now. But hopefully this will change with the China DLC :)
Trench 7 May @ 7:56am
Thank you for all your hard work on this, I feel like I cant play the game without this
ΧΡHΣΤΟΣ850 1 May @ 9:06am
aah okay yeah i had the same issues.
Scratchmen  [author] 1 May @ 8:19am
@ΧΡHΣΤΟΣ850 There they are, just Steam likes to delete my preview maps sometimes
ΧΡHΣΤΟΣ850 30 Apr @ 12:33pm
any updates on Greek names for Persia and Afganistan?
Scratchmen  [author] 28 Apr @ 12:46pm
@deausiflack Good to hear that :)
deausiflack 28 Apr @ 12:40pm
@Scratchmen Okay, I uninstalled then reinstalled CK3, verified the files, and uninstalled and reinstalled my entire mod-list. That seems to have fixed the issue
Scratchmen  [author] 28 Apr @ 10:59am
@deausiflack I really "like" modding in these cases, because I can't recreate any of the bugs. The layout of my 867 map is the same as vanilla. The clothes of the Pope is fine, and in India, the only naked characters I see are those who follow the Yapaniya Jain religion, which is normal. So honestly I'm clueless.
deausiflack 28 Apr @ 10:24am
In addition, I'm not sure if it's CFP or MHG or MHG+CFP compatch, but one of those three mods makes it so that capes worn by characters are glitching out and appear to be all over the place (the Pope for example) and the Eastern characters (ones in India and Bangladesh) appear naked. Just wanted to bump it

Scratchmen  [author] 28 Apr @ 10:00am
@deausiflack At what start date do you experience the problem?
deausiflack 28 Apr @ 9:44am
Thank you for the prompt update regardless though!
deausiflack 28 Apr @ 9:43am
I have tested all the mods in my playlist and this mod causes certain kingdom and empire titles (e.g., Asturias and the Byzantine Empire) to shatter into independent duchies and counties. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Scratchmen  [author] 28 Apr @ 8:02am
@everyone The mod is up to date with the Khans of the Steppe DLC :)
Альфа 1918 20 Apr @ 5:41pm
Please fix b_vares being called "Varese" for Italian cultures, the city of Varese is already further to the south, use the name "Bernardino" or a city between Chur and Bellinzona
Альфа 1918 18 Apr @ 1:03pm
Nvm, turns out the issue was the Islam Expanded mod
Альфа 1918 18 Apr @ 11:54am
Missing for Hispania as well.
Альфа 1918 18 Apr @ 11:51am
Why are there no latin (roman) names for Italy beyond Sicily?
Scratchmen  [author] 17 Apr @ 4:58am
@coolesocke Yes, I fix it with the next update

@Beorhthere Appleby Yeah, I plan to move into the new territories. But I'm already afraid of how much work I'll have to do with it :D
Beorhthere Appleby 17 Apr @ 1:08am
Eventually, will you keep expanding the language groups to cover the whole map?
coolesocke 13 Apr @ 7:28am
The new desicion to form Hindustan is gliched, can you please fix it?
Scratchmen  [author] 11 Apr @ 12:23am
@Arktex Yeah, it's known. Because I just put the names directly into the 00_landed_titles.txt file a'la CK2 method, instead of making separate localization keys for every single one. It's simple time-saving.

@Альфа 1918 Noted, but not priority now
Альфа 1918 10 Apr @ 8:18pm
Please copy the Italian names to Cultures Expanded's Dalmatian and Latin for African Romance and Pannonian
Arktex 10 Apr @ 1:52pm
Hey, I get massive "Key is missing localization" errors in the error log file. Which explodes the error log file size like crazy. Getting to 50.000 Kb in just a few minutes of gametime. Is that already known?
Scratchmen  [author] 7 Apr @ 10:18am
@Rombus6 Thank you, I'll fix them in the next version :)
Rombus6 6 Apr @ 9:01pm
d_lower_bosna and b_agnone are missing "cultural_names = {".
c_satala is this "ccultural_names = {"
Альфа 1918 3 Apr @ 9:15am
Hey boy, are you ready to make Russian names spread all the way to Vladivostok with the Asia update? :)

By the way, thanks for doing this. MCN is horribly bloated and the creator hasn't played CK3 in years, + some Russian names for the steppe aren't used because they're anachronistic but so was player-made conquest of the steppe, so Odessa and Kherson should be in.
76561198881248470 21 Mar @ 12:47am
please make a Lite version
terratian 20 Mar @ 1:55pm
would you consider adding turkic names for areas you havent added mongol names for yet
terratian 20 Mar @ 1:52pm
do you have plans for when they add east asia also a separate lite version would be better because i like the way it is now
lunar 19 Mar @ 3:05pm
Make a lite version.
Scratchmen  [author] 19 Mar @ 11:46am
Guys, I'd like to hear your opinion. If I would make a version where only the county and duchy level titles would be translated, and the kingdom and empire levels would be lite, which solution would you prefer? Replace the current content with it or make a separate lite version?
eskender9866 2 Mar @ 6:25pm
Alright, thanks.
Scratchmen  [author] 2 Mar @ 3:25pm
@eskender9866 No, only this one.
eskender9866 2 Mar @ 3:03pm
@Scratchmen Is there another version of this mod that can allow it?
Scratchmen  [author] 2 Mar @ 7:14am
@eskender9866 No, the mod change the empire and kingdom level titles too. There isn't any "game rules" what could prevent it.
eskender9866 1 Mar @ 9:44pm
Is there a way to have the county names change but the actual country names stay the same as in vanilla?
Scratchmen  [author] 4 Feb @ 10:55am
@Takeeh I just tested it, and in my side it's Jérusalem in french. It's working as intended
Takeeh 3 Feb @ 3:19pm
Kingdom of Jerusalem stays as "Al-Quds" in other cultures, including french
Rombus6 4 Jan @ 1:28am
both c_bolghar and b_bolghar some how have "name_list_" in them
skinnypenis 16 Dec, 2024 @ 5:15am
unique names for titles in middle persian if you are a zoroastrian persia would be cool
Scratchmen  [author] 1 Dec, 2024 @ 8:25am
I think it's enough if you write down the exact location name, what you proposed to change :)
juune8 30 Nov, 2024 @ 10:22pm
Good morning. About the catalan localisation im working on, you prefer that i write the name of city/duchy etc for each place in every counties or only those who needs to be edited based on the current castillan localisation?
Scratchmen  [author] 13 Nov, 2024 @ 10:17am
@juune8 Currently I don't plan to do them. My main focus is on my other mods.
juune8 13 Nov, 2024 @ 2:33am
And you didnt tell me if you planned to add localisation to titles like counties, duchies, kingdoms, knights concellor's etc ... i could help too if needed
Scratchmen  [author] 12 Nov, 2024 @ 12:27pm
@juune8 No problem, take your time :)
juune8 11 Nov, 2024 @ 2:15pm
Ok thanks for the info, i have many modifications to suggest for catalan names, occitan and even french
i will provide slowly because im quite busy but i'll do it
Scratchmen  [author] 11 Nov, 2024 @ 9:40am
@juune8 I tried to add localizations for both cultures, using catalan and occitan too.

@⸸Speltok⸸ Yeah, that's a commonly requested thing. I plan to make what you suggested, just I don't know when I have the time to do it.
Gabe Itch 11 Nov, 2024 @ 8:45am
Thanks for this! I’ve been bothered by how Baltic names remain unchanged for Norse rulers. Is it possible to add an option to disable title name changes while still allowing county names to adapt? I’m not a fan of titles like Uppland being renamed Svitjod or Poland being called Polska instead of the English versions. Is there a way to have only county names change?
