Don't even own a Deck to try it myself, but I'd assume that this map is definitely not "healthy" for the Deck, it's a very resource intensive map because it spawns a horde (15-20 zombies) every 2 seconds or so, that's a massive entity count and AI processing power needed.
It's weird that it gives you errors, but it might've been a slight config change by Valve to ensure L4D didn't kill Decks when commands would request far too much from the device?

i'm having issues running this on Steam Deck. After I open the console and input the command, I get several error messages stating failed/not allowed processes. Will this only work if yo'ure playing on Windows? I'd appreciate any feedback

I gave up trying and unsub it will not work it crashes every 3minutes or so. I got a i7 14700k 32gb ram with a rx7600 ( going to upgrade the gpu when the gpu scalpers are gone) and running this on a ssd there is no reason why I crash

It works perfectly. At first it did crash, but after removing all the things from the Workshop and performing the "jump on minigun trick" worked 10/10.

PD: Runing on Intel I5 8-400f, RTX 1650 Super, 16gb(monochannel) and HDD

@DarkteK Don't bother bro, reading comprehension is hard. I've only written the instructions very clearly and added a specific section of the description to fix the guy's problem, no wonder the map isn't working, it's crap!!! Downvoted!!! ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

crashes way to much ( i did all the stuff they said ) i have a pc that could easily run a shit ton of zombies on this game with no issue i even turned my mods off just incase it was messing it up

too many zombs even with all the commands, didn't help bc i either crash or they clip through and kill me while i shoot

As far as I know, the crashes some people speak of are related to entity count. The game can only handle a certain amount of entities, and if one isn't fast enough to reduce that value by killing the zombies, it will crash. This is an engine limitation I cant work around.
I legitimately only found that it crashed after releasing the map due to comments, because it never happened to me, I'd grab the minigun instantly.
Other maps that I tried before I released this one were crashing due to command overload or game update incompatibilities, as all were inferior in zombie count and spawn speed. I made my own because no other was good and was crashing (Hence the, apparently false, advertisement).

As for hardware, unless you're using 12Gb or less of RAM, there should be no motive for crashing due to slow load times or something of the sorts. I released this using a i5 6600k, RX480, 16Gb and a 5600RPM HDD. Anything post 2015 should beat my setup back in the days easily.

never worked, no matter how fast and accurate i am during setup. it literally crashed within milliseconds

Thank you, I went from 11k kills to the achievement in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The instructions were pretty straight forward

Thanks working for me....took 25mins to get 53999kills along with few survival achievements..just got crashed once..then worked smoothly

just kidding, works perfectly!! you can not use a SINGLE addon though... still worked nonetheless!

I got beat the rush from this map also, not entirely sure why that happened but I heard that achievement is buggy and thought it'd never happen. pretty cool :)

Most of the time trying to follow the instructions, game just crashes anyway. One time I did manage to get in and killed quite a lot, until the minigun over heated and then too many spawned.

Low Violence enabled, no other Mods, VSync off, Graphics on lowest, pressing Elevator Button and still crashing just like always.

Thesee idiots that are complaining about crashing... clearly didn't read the instruction.

Another way to make sure the game doesn't crash is to gut your video settings in Video > Advanced Settings, and also setting the launch option "-lv" for Low Violence, which disables most blood & gore and *stops corpses from piling up*. Zombies will fade out after dying.
