Used to drive by the railroad every other month on a run from Houston to east Texas. Sorely wish there were more Texas routes! Its well done, a nice modernized version of what was already available. The two on RWA are showing their age, and both don't really represent the current setup of the route. I like the addition of the stations, a neat concept if the MC&SA would run excursions again. A shame most of their steam fleet is now gone from the area.

Warwick Rail, thanks much for providing these links! I never knew it could be done like that. I've added them to the route descriptions so that they'll always be visible.

Here is a list of all the workshop scenarios for the route.

transstar43 22. aug. 2018 kl. 13:38

This is a really great Texas route. I am running the MCSA SW1200 repaint from Railworks America, Hours of fun. Very enjoyable! :steamhappy:

Your 3% grade definetly got me! I started to stall!
foamy snips 16. juni 2017 kl. 12:13
chris6064, there already is a Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines route. It only requires Horshoe Curve.
foamy snips 16. juni 2017 kl. 12:11
Descents are my worst enemy. Good job with the challenging grades!
Thogmar 25. jan. 2017 kl. 17:19
One of the really good freelance American short line routes. Full of great detail and realistic layout and design.
Mark 30. sep. 2016 kl. 18:42
can you make a route that doesn't have any DLC taken down please and keep it like a shunting route please
GreatNortherner  [ophavsmand] 29. mar. 2016 kl. 5:56
Hello, I'm afraid the Stevens Pass DLC is only available in the US due to BNSF's licensing restrictions.
tracks3 26. mar. 2016 kl. 16:48
How do I get the Steves Pass route as it shows up as Retired and no longer on the download list of routes??
jmartin66509 30. juni 2015 kl. 7:41

GreatNortherner  [ophavsmand] 24. juni 2015 kl. 13:15

WORTH SUBSCRIBING

I'm very picky about what I'll add to my train sim and immediately discard anything that doesn't measure up to my quality standards. This is a worthy effort and will remain on my hard drive.

@Wil Dow Just search "Asset" in the search bar in the store, and you will find them. If you bought this game during Railworks or TS2012, you will already have them.
idaho 2.0 6. maj 2015 kl. 12:20
How do you get Classic European Assets?
avandy80 8. apr. 2015 kl. 14:19
Can you make one with Donner Pass please?:D
Chris6064 25. mar. 2015 kl. 17:13
could you do pennsylvania reading seashore lines?
warlordzero1 18. mar. 2015 kl. 13:06
I do not own the stevens pass route could that be the reason why i have no rail tracks to run on, but the train still runs without track scenery signals and everything else.
FluffyBunny 5. mar. 2015 kl. 14:54
Thanks much!
GreatNortherner  [ophavsmand] 5. mar. 2015 kl. 11:17
@a_t_hall: As downloaded from the workshop the route only comes with a very simple QuickDrive scenario, so you'll only find it on that tab of the Drive menu. There are however quite a few standard scenarios available here on the Workshop, you should be able to find them by searching for keywords like "Moscow" or "MCSA".
FluffyBunny 4. mar. 2015 kl. 16:41
Dumb question... I have all the required DLC for the route. I subscribed to the route in the Workshop. In the game in the profile section, I see the route listed. I can edit the route if I choose to. However, I can't see or play any scenarios that actually use the route. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Sal 3. mar. 2015 kl. 15:28
Epic and extremely well done route. The scenery is spectacular and you've paid a fine amount of attention to detail. Thank you for your time and efforts in building this!!!
pkz19 26. nov. 2014 kl. 16:50
@GreatNortherner, I took advantage of the sale and got Stevens Pass, and everything loaded up fine. Beautiful route!
GreatNortherner  [ophavsmand] 15. nov. 2014 kl. 7:30
@pzahirsky, I think that this could be an effect of not having Stevens Pass.
pkz19 15. nov. 2014 kl. 7:12
When I try to load this route, the landscape comes out as blank white with grid lines. I don't have Stevens Pass, is that why?
winston 26. sep. 2014 kl. 4:21
Very nice route. Thanks for taking the time and for sharing it.
maxsdad 29. juni 2014 kl. 15:50
Great little route. checking out the scenarios now.
thanks

haerts 27. apr. 2014 kl. 9:48
Very nice route I first experienced it with the Frisco scenario, nice work.
NightTrader 15. apr. 2014 kl. 17:59
@RonnieGooch: as stated in the Route Description "You must own the Stevens Pass route DLC and the European and US Loco & Asset Pack DLCs to run this workshop route." The combination of these routes will provide you with the rolling stock you are missing.
RonnieGooch 14. apr. 2014 kl. 3:39
How can I get the missing rolling stock required to play?
cor726 10. apr. 2014 kl. 8:09
What an excellent little route. Sometimes I don't have a lot of time to run TS, and that is what makes this routes so great as you can do some switching and a run back to the mainline in under 30 minutes. There are some excellent scenarios for it as well.
wckdz24 6. apr. 2014 kl. 4:51
This has quickly become one of my favorite routes, I absolutely love it!
Creative Username 23. mar. 2014 kl. 9:48
could you please make the RF&P subdivision. in RF&P era
TCHOZN 9. mar. 2014 kl. 10:15
Nice work...thanks!
loud06 7. mar. 2014 kl. 5:00
thank you for the route.
beautiful job
GreatNortherner  [ophavsmand] 7. mar. 2014 kl. 2:53
Thanks for all your kind comments, they are much appreciated.

@HighGround22: The Sheridan WY route nikolaibard was referring to is my old RW2/3 CBQ/BN Big Horn Subdivision route, Sheridan to Parkman. It hasn't been updated in a long time but the old RW3 version is still available at RailWorksAmerica.com . I have been thinking about an update, but it's considerably more work than it was on the MCSA so if I do it, it will be a long-term project.
Scott Lund 6. mar. 2014 kl. 16:05
Very nice! The detail was every thing I enjoy. I liked that its slow and easy to run. Thank you for all the work and time you put into this. PREFECT!!
Zappierchimp 3. mar. 2014 kl. 13:27
I've seen the other one and by that, I'm assuming you did both, so great job!
NC9 2. mar. 2014 kl. 2:40
looks nice
HighGround22 1. mar. 2014 kl. 12:07
What a true exquisite-sweetheart of a route, Michael! If someone asked me for a perfect example of my favourite type of route, this would be the one I'd point to! Many thanks for all of your excellent, hard work in bringing us this wonderful playground!
And . . . uh . . . (koff-koff) . . . what's this about the "Sheridan Wyoming". . . ?
- Jon H.
Cat1843Halo 27. feb. 2014 kl. 17:30
this is a awsome route!
nikolaibard 27. feb. 2014 kl. 11:25
Have the original of this, it is FANTASTIC. Now I must buy Stevens Pass so I can get this one.

So Michael, any chance you'll update and share the Sheridan Wyoming route?
HingusDingus 26. feb. 2014 kl. 19:32
Darn! I MUST GET STEVENS PASS!
Micro and Soft 26. feb. 2014 kl. 14:21
Excellent route. It's packed with scenery, but it's easy on the computer. I hope you'll do more routes like this in the future
GreatNortherner  [ophavsmand] 26. feb. 2014 kl. 12:52
Thanks for the many kind comments and the continued interest in this little route.
@ThatGuyWhoLikesTrains -- thanks for the suggestion with the SW1500s. I didn't know we had a Frisco version in the game, their paint scheme is indeed a near-perfect match for the MCSA (though it's probably rather the other way around)
cor726 26. feb. 2014 kl. 12:34
Excellent little route - well done.
