says, "waypoint lies dormant" no matter how many I place. Am I doing something wrong?

Mod works as intended, but it may cause issues when building too many waystones.

Had issues for a while now with NPCs (sometimes even whole parts of the map those NPCs reside in, like the lower part in Weaver's Hollow) not loading in. And I'll tell ya, a completely empty Sepermeru ghost town is creepy as fuq. First I though it was some "event", but no. No NPCs at all. Tinkered with a bunch of mods, removing or re-ordering my LO did nothing to fix the issue.

Then realized this seemed to happen a lot after jumping through waystones. So on a hunch, I removed some, now I have no more than 10 on the map...and had not had the issue since. I recommend not building more than a dozen max & no more than 1 waystone in the same map square.

These are nice for early game, but once you aquire vanilla Transportory Stone knowledge from Tome of Kurak questline, gather the resources needed & tear the waystones down you don't need.

@sinus-74 use ThralSideKick to Thralls, this mod allows you to save Thrall Position Home, different from Guarding Place, so you can send they home whateaver and Call they back too, this will fix any thrall disapearing/teleporting problems, because is not the mod issue, is a common thing inside Conan Exiles Thrall disapearing, drowning into the ground, etc.
The mod seens fine, i recomend trying use SideKick is the most awesome mod for ThrallsBehavior.
Besides is not updated since, it still working very well.

One more guess as to why skidders can disappear when they have a whole xp teleportation is normal, but when xp is reduced by 50%, then there is a loss of teleportation .This is only a guess, but I check).But if they disappear with a whole xp, then the problem mod and it is desirable to update).

The mod sometimes behaves not very well in single-player, the problem is that after teleportation trills disappear into thin air and when I restart the game they stand next to each other again.This is very inconvenient! As the player above wrote I did not know the command to return the tracks and so restarted the game), but even if the command will work and the tracks will return, it is already good, and if not restart the game again?.Is it not possible to update the mod after reading the reviews if such problems occur?????.Just mod is very convenient).

I'm running this on my private server without any issues (post-Age of Heroes, obviously).

having issues with this mod after the AoH update on my private server and single player. after removing all mods and running them one by one, waystones was the only one that caused any issues. when ever i would teleport from any waystone to base i would get a corrupted .bak file, game crash, and would have to verify the game files.

I've been using this mod with many others in my single player games for months.
Years ago I lost one or two thralls that were simply deleted after teleporting.
I just teleported myself with two thralls. One simply disappeared (or became invisible), the other was available.
I flew to the ground or sky in admin mode, no thrall to be seen, even though he was shown on the map.
With 'Better Thralls' war party command to dismiss thralls, he suddenly appeared.
Very mysterious.

Mod is working great. My only issue is it seems to remove some waystones now and then. Is there a limit to how many can be placed around the map? We are using our own personal dedicated server.

Sadly, without any configurability, we have to remove this from our server; it's getting carpeted in stones. :(

added this mod, seems to disable the double left click waypoint that the Navigator mod add's. so guessing the two mods are Semi not compatible? o.O

This mod is absolutely amazing, especially since I'm on Single Player and I don't have the patience to run around everywhere multiple times, and it takes so long to unlock the in-game fast travel

take it is no way to do any configs to the mod like setting how many can be used or distance ..is a nice mod but takes alot out of the game on a server when people want to put down like 30

Good functional mod: fair crafting materials, no travel fees, no complications. Thank you. (Please do not include any travel fees or cartographer, it will make this mod unusable, at least for me)

Tai-Sho-Sama something like this IS in the base game. Cartographer teaches you map-room, it's more restrictive, but also feels less cheaty to use.

It's a great mod. Really I love it! Works so good, without any issues, fast and looks fantastic!

But recently when at our server we are a little richer with time... I had and idea, how about adding some cost (maybe Admin configurable) for using Waystones?

For examples X demon Blood, Gold Dust or something? It's really great, but without cost, friends at our server just spam them in end game, without considering ANY normal travel :P (Like billionaires with jets xD)

But still, this is a great mod! And it should be in basic game, much more comfortable and fun map room or something :)

If you're playing Savage Wilds, the Demon Blood and Crystal may be hard to find. If you can't find a corrupted version of a mob (I lucked out and got a corrupted rocknose) you may be outta luck until you can fight the bat demons in the center east (just west of Windhelm) for the Demon Blood. Crystal Cave is the best bet for Crystals, but you can sometimes find them in chests or on human warriors. Overall 10/10, expensive so not a cheat, works as intended, easy to use, doesn't break things, and is incredibly helpful especially for maps like Savage Wilds. Thank you for making it!

More Info: This mod is exceptional as it allows you to place waypoints around the world, anywhere the world allows you to build. They are small, circular and flat, place 4 foundations 2x2 and it sits perfectly in the center. It is a feat that costs 3, unlockable at level 20. It is constructed at an Artisan Table and costs 50 Hardened Brick, 20 Crystal, and 2 Demon Blood, so not cheap and a fair price for the result. Once placed you can click on it and it pulls up a map that has all the waypoints on it as blue circles, click the blue circle and you teleport there instantly. Don't forget to mark where it is on your regular map! If you have Hosav's UI it will Not screw up the minimap like admin teleport. Your companions will teleport in a second after you.

Can confirm it still works on dedicated servers. Drop it on the bottom of your load order if you're having troubles with it, something might be interfering with something it needs.

For anyone wondering, this mod still works great with the Age of War update. I've also used it on Isle of Siptah and Savage Wilds, never had a problem.

Conan Exiles really needs a basegame fast travel system or something .. This makes playing alone much more enjoyable, and handling multiple houses/bases more accessible.

Yes same question as Endarri is there any way to rename them so that way can title them as to why they are in the area like Feathers or Silver or Gold or..... just to make it easier for others playing know why they were placed there as i play with 2 friends

Is there a way to add naming to the waystones? it would be really handy to be able to name each of them, or possibly recolor their icon on the teleport map for certain indicators.

Saw this issue in 2.8, and it appears to be back now in 3.0. When you travel through a waystone with thralls, some or all of them are invisible until you initiate combat. Then they magically appear. Until then, you can't see them, and they get in the way when you are trying to move through where they apparently are. Any idea on a fix for this?

Gave it a gander and this works beautifully as of today, 22nd of May. Fair building cost, not too heavy, generous stack amount, and super simple to use. Must-have for me. Great work!

It is still working but it is far from complete, I love the functionality, BUT it needs a repair recipe because it doesn't have one and if one gets damaged when picking it back up gives like 2 bricks out of 50.

this is still a better option than the in game transporter stones and i still use them over the sorcery variants in single player. still works as of april 11th 2023

For some reason the Waystone feat isn't showing up on the Knowledge page under Survival at all. Does anyone know if it clashes with anything?

Note that with the new Ch 3 update, captured thralls will be dragged through the waystone with you. Woot!
