I finally opened Garry's Mod for the first time in 5 years. My heart was in my throat as I booted up a game.

I shrieked as I witnesses this masterpiece. I couldn't be happier with this workshop. I haven't stopped playing ever since I've downloaded this. I can confidently say that these three gaming revolutionists want to change the world — not just sit around talking about it, but actually doing something to bring about change.

After purchasing Garry's Mod many moons ago, I had only played 10 minutes of it. I turned it off and never played it again. It was boring. No excitement. "Where's the story?" I asked myself. I was so disappointed in Steam, Valve, and yes, even Garry himself. I never understood the hype and community around this game. All the restless nights, arguments with my friends and family, divorces, losing my house, kids, and my entire life savings, all lead to one question; "What can give Garry's Mod that "it" factor?" I went to a local McDonalds (for their wifi) on a quest to find that "it". Not 5 minutes of searching did I come across this on the workshop. And did it just click. I must have looked so weird crying my eyes out in McDonalds as I somberly looked at my screen. The words "Alyx Hops on Top" staring straight back at me. My heart fluttered, my legs, restless. My hands shaking as I clicked "Subscribe". (pt1)
