It's also weighted towards making Jean "the Maid of Orleans" if Orleans is owned.
Any player that is a Christian king or above should be able to trigger the event naturally. The event won't trigger if you have the full or inverse gender equality game rules or faith doctrines. So no Cathar/Bogomiltist//Messalian/Adamite Jeanne d'Arcs.
The decision to trigger it manually won't show if she has already spawned. It has the same trigger conditions as the yearly pulse (minus the year), and it should tell you what you need to trigger the event chain anyway.
I don't typically savescum, but I really like her.
You go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2523842349\common\decisions
There is a lonly Text file "jda_decisions.txt" that you open with an Editor of your choice, the Windows build in is fine!
Here you see the line, more or less right at the top, saying: picture = whatever
You overwrite the line with the following:
picture = {
reference = "gfx/interface/illustrations/decisions/decision_personal_religious.dds"
}
Save the File and your Mod should more or less work again. At least now the descision should be back and I suppose most things will work as they should :)
Just wanted to share that Jeanne died in a battle and the rest of the event continued (like to imprison her while she's already dead).
Wanted to share this bug I've found and to share my sadness of her dying before her time.
Everybody loves a smoking Jeanne, time to time.
@Birphon
The decision only won't show for the following reason:
Not a player,
Has game rule full_gender_equality or inversed_gender_equality,
OR Jeanne has already spawned naturally,
Going off the Wild Goose Choose you have debug mode on.
Try:
effect if = { limit = { exists = global_var:jeanne_darc_spawned } add_gold = 5 } else = { add_gold = 10 }
If you get 5 gold type:
effect remove_global_variable = jeanne_darc_spawned
If you get 10 gold then something else is wrong.
Doesn't seem to work - https://i.imgur.com/llQZKN0.png
No decision for it, im an independent king and catholic
The concept is awesome. Any chance to create a similar type character that does not require you to be a King? I tend to start off small and by the time I am a King, I tend to not be Christian anymore...
Was worth starting as a king just to trigger the events of this mod.
Also it would be cool if you incorporate the artifacts system with jeanne,
Query: Should I make so Jeanne always get the iconic bob hairstyle?
I built in two ways:
Firstly, if you successfully seduce Jeanne (which is now easier by default as a game rule) the trait will be removed. To get the option for the event you need either lustful or cynical instead of both and decent intrigue as it was previously.
Secondly, if you have the loosened (default) or unlocked game rules then the trait should automatically be removed once Jeanne marries. So if you've missed the event this will be the easiest way.
I'll reiterate, the trait will be removed if you marry her as by default the celibate will be removed.
There is one more possible way but is much harder, much less likely, if any character with the gallant trait (which is theoretically possible for Jeanne to get) becomes stressed out enough they can gain the rakish trait. If a person with the rakish trait has a mental break they can lose the celibate trait. It takes some jumping through hops, isn't certain, but it is possible.

I want to marry her and have children
