@Tak I haven't had any issue on my end. Try verifying game files and unsubscribing and resubscribing (multiple times if necessary) to any mods that aren't working.
Tak 23 May @ 1:47pm
latest upgdate breaks almost all mods
Finarfin 19 May @ 12:23pm
Oh my. Somehow I missed that.
cybrxkhan  [author] 19 May @ 12:17pm
@Finarfin EPE has already been updated for a few days now I think
Finarfin 19 May @ 11:52am
We are still waiting for a new EPE from that team, though, right?
cybrxkhan  [author] 19 May @ 9:07am
@Merlin No prob!
Merlin 19 May @ 6:04am
thx for update :)
cybrxkhan  [author] 19 May @ 12:56am
Update to Khans of the Steppe and the Manichean Flavor Pack is out everyone! Thanks all for your patience and understanding.

Remember you may need to unsubscribe and resubscribe for mods to update properly (multiple times if necessary). Please start a new game with this version of RICE, as it comes after a major vanilla patch.
cybrxkhan  [author] 17 May @ 10:40am
@Swordsman Chinchilla: If you're using the WIP version, just be aware I would not advise using it with a serious long-term playthrough, once the official update comes out (hopefully early next week) I would recommend a completely new game to avoid issues to be safe :)
Swordsman Chinchilla 17 May @ 9:51am
WIP version here we go, thanks for sharing!
cybrxkhan  [author] 13 May @ 5:58pm
@Allen Thank for the kind words! I don't have any donation thingymajig and haven't really felt the need for anything like that. Your support and kind words are more than enough for me :)
Allen 13 May @ 1:20am
Is there a way to donate to you?

I looked at your website, Discord, and GitHub. None of them asks for donations or anything. So I appreciate you even more but wanted to show mine as well.

Also, thanks for the work that you do! :)
cybrxkhan  [author] 10 May @ 9:41pm
RICE update will hopefully be out within a week or so, but I don't know how far the EPE guys are along, as Finarfin says even if RICE updated right now this compatch would be useless without the corresponding EPE update too.
Finarfin 10 May @ 7:54pm
Both RICE and EPE themselves have to be updated first, guy.
tatum.thibault 10 May @ 7:35pm
update pretty please with a cherry on top
cybrxkhan  [author] 20 Apr @ 12:23pm
@Swordsman Chinchilla: That sounds like either a load order issue, mod compatibility issue (especially if you're using a lot of mods) where some mod is overriding another mod's changes for that region, or Steam Workshop/Paradox Launcher did not correctly update one or more of your mods (very common issue, especially with big graphics mods like CFP/EPE for some reason, usual fix is to unsubscribe, wait until the mod is fully uninstalled, then resubscribe, possibly multiple times until it works).
Swordsman Chinchilla 20 Apr @ 5:20am
In every new game I start everyone in the Kingdom of Ireland is always in nightgows. I've started roleplaying that in-game they have no sense of fashion and that IRL the irish like to fuck with me
cybrxkhan  [author] 14 Apr @ 6:35pm
@Годрик Сторукий: Thank you for the suggestion, I'll have to remember recommending that step too in case someone has issues.
Just also quick reminder for those who have some texture glitches - beside unsubscribe/ subscribe , also delete content of your shader cache in Documents - Paradox - ckIII - shadercache
cybrxkhan  [author] 9 Apr @ 9:06pm
@TheLandTraveller Have you tried testing this with no other mods, not even other "minor" or cosmetic mods, or other compatches, on a completely new save? i.e. run only RICE, CFP, EPE, and their compatches, and no other mods, even small mods you don't think do anything related.

Also, make sure you're using the latest versions of the mods, especially CFP and EPE, Steam sometimes messes up updating those mods for some reason, so make sure you do the old trick to unsubscribe, wait until the mods are uninstalled (it may take a while), and then reinstall.

If issues still persist after all that, try running with only RICE, CFP, and EPE by themselves each to see if the issues persist to see if it's one of them. If not, try only RICE+CFP, CFP+EPE, and RICE+EPE with their respective compatches, and seeing if that's an issue.

Oh, also, do be aware that EPE requires various DLCs (see their steam page for more info), so if you're missing some you may run into issues.
TheLandTraveller 9 Apr @ 3:24pm
Hello, I'm running RICE, CFP and EPE altogether with the compatibility patches in the correct order as shown in the photo here. But I still get naked characters in Persia and Steppe regions. Like all the characters of this culture here are naked. I can't seem to fix this issue and like I said I'm running the patches in the correct load order too. I really need some help here with this issue.
cybrxkhan  [author] 4 Apr @ 12:20am
@Годрик Сторукий: Good to hear! Usually that trick fixes 99% of mod updating issues from my experience, not just for CK3 but a lot of PI games when using Steam workshop/Paradox Launcher lol.
@cybrxkhan , unsub/resub helped . I hope one day we will receive proper workshop updater. Thx
cybrxkhan  [author] 2 Apr @ 9:38pm
@Годрик Сторукий Have you tried unsubscribing and resubscribing, and making sure you're running only RICE, EPE, and the RICE+EPE compatch and no other mods (not even minor or cosmetic mods)? It might be that the updates didn't update properly, since Steam workshop/Paradox launcher can be wonky like that sometimes.
Eyepatch issue exists even on fresh save with latest updates :(
cybrxkhan  [author] 31 Mar @ 6:04pm
Eyepatch might be due to the mods updating to the new 1.15 patch, especially if you were playing on an older version of the mod. Check to see if the issue still persists with a fresh new save, with the latest updated versions of the mods.
Mother 31 Mar @ 5:27pm
the source is EPE it seems
Mother 31 Mar @ 5:11pm
so going back on that, it was back in minutes. i disabled it and the red clothes are still there so might beyond the compatch. if i fiqure it out il post it on here
Finarfin 31 Mar @ 4:29pm
I see a lot of people with eye patches, as well, but as soon as I click on them the patch disappears.
Mother 31 Mar @ 4:02pm
soooooo, half the world had eye patches, and the shaders on some clothes were bright red with pixels. I managed to fix it buy moving one mod around. dont kmow if was that or rebooting the game thatf fixed. very wierd
cybrxkhan  [author] 29 Mar @ 12:59pm
@Minipx No prob, thanks for heads up. Guessing it has to do something with the new patch.
Minipx 29 Mar @ 12:04pm
Nevermind, shortly after my previous comment, I saw a few eye-patches. :(
Minipx 29 Mar @ 12:03pm
@cybrxkhan The save I showed on the screenshots was from a save that started previous to 1.15. I used a ton of mods, but in therms of custom clothing and accessories only EPE, RICE and CFP.
I just started (5 mins ago, so 1.15) a really quick save in Bohemia 1066 to verify, and he still got the crown of Vladimir when I made him king. I don't see any eye-patches though.
cybrxkhan  [author] 29 Mar @ 10:52am
@Hedj No problem!

@Minipx Does this issue happen with a fresh new game, with no other mods but RICE and EPE and the compatch running? If you were playing an old save on the previous version of RICE that wasn't meant for 1.15, you may get some weirdness like that.
Minipx 29 Mar @ 10:07am
Since the update, I've noticed a lot of character portraits have eye-patches even if they are not one-eyed: https://imgur.com/a/5BOaZjI and some headgear is placed on rulers of wrong cultures.
Regardless, thank you for your work!
Hedj 29 Mar @ 5:02am
Thank you for your continued support of this patch
cybrxkhan  [author] 28 Mar @ 9:56pm
Update to 1.15 is now out everyone! Thanks all for your patience while I was out busy IRL most of March.
cybrxkhan  [author] 22 Mar @ 1:03am
To those experiencing issues with the clothes, if it's due to my compatch needing an update to the new patch, then I won't be able to update until the end of the month as I'm busy IRL this month and have not even updated RICE yet. Otherwise, as hamletsdead says, if CFP and EPE also need updates, then you'll have to wait for those as well.

Also, when tested to see if it's caused by other mods or combos of mods, I recommend to test without any other mods other than RICE and EPE (or CFP) and the compatches, even if you think they're unrelated and even if they seem to do something as simple as changing a few lines of text. There have been cases where I got bug reports for my mods that ended up being caused by compatibility issues with "minor" mods that people thought didn't do anything related or relevant.
hamletsdead 21 Mar @ 9:33pm
@shelbypup252, it's because CFP and EPE just updated on March 15, and none of the patches have updated yet. The EPE discord guys are aware and a patch is in progress, but with no ETA. The new clothing is still in barbershop, but the default clothing is screwed up for Ireland and all of Scandinavia.
Hedj 21 Mar @ 2:26am
@finallyciv
You'd need more info for troubleshooting like your modlist (if anything in it affects background illustrations)
There are patches for RICE + EPE + MHG (more holding graphics) for example that already exist
finallyciv 21 Mar @ 1:22am
I have a problem too, and I'm not sure if this compatch is the cause or has the potential to solve it. Many figures, especially in Siberia, but also some European rulers, don't have background illustrations. My guess is that it's a compatibility problem between RICE and EPE. Could you please look into this?
shelbypup252 20 Mar @ 10:28pm
Yeah I have Northern Lords and I just bought Arctic Attire but it's still not fixed. My load order is:
(other mods, unrelated trust me)
VIET
RICE
CFP
EPE
CFP+EPE
Culture Expanded
RICE+EPE
Unit Pack Expanded
And it seems to only affect Norse and Northern European fashion cultures, as in Lithuanian culture also has it (since it also uses Northern European fashion) but it's primarily seen in Gaelic and Irish people all being in nightgowns.
cybrxkhan  [author] 20 Mar @ 1:44am
@shelbypup252 Does the issue happen when you are running only RICE or only EPE? Also do you have the arctic attire and/or the Northern Lords DLCs? (RICE doesn't require them but EPE does.)
shelbypup252 19 Mar @ 7:24pm
I'm having that bug where all the northern european clothing that spawns in is sick/ill clothing, so all the northern european clothing characters wear the nightgowns/rags. Anyone know what fix there is for this?
Michał 15 Mar @ 1:51am
I had a compatch in my Paradox launcher thing, but it deleted itself and me being stupid instead of writing down the name of the mod removed it from there and now the ruler of Japan is dressed like a Russian cossack which happened to me once before when I didn't have the compatches instaled. Weirdest thing is I do not recall removing it from Steam (which in turn removes it from the Paradox launcher). My guess is that it got deleted from the workshop. It was something like CFP + EPE + AEP compatch , but I may be remembering it wrong.
Thanks for replying so quickly.
cybrxkhan  [author] 14 Mar @ 8:34am
@Michał I don't know if EPE and CFP need compatches with the Asian Expansion Project, I am not the creator of that mod. I think RICE should be compatible with it without needing a compatch, but I might be wrong. You should probably check with them about that.
Michał 14 Mar @ 1:32am
What do I use if I want to run all the mods in the load order screenshot with Asia Expansion Project?
Auri Sariel 1 Mar @ 2:22pm
@cybrxkhan yeah just annoying cause my internet is not the best so having to wait so long made me do this really as a last resort hopefully it wont happen again
cybrxkhan  [author] 1 Mar @ 10:52am
@Auri Sariel: Thanks for the update. And yeah, that's weird... I guess there were some issues with the files, and normally the other steps I mentioned is enough to "reset" or fix any corrupt files. Looks like your computer and/or Steam Workshop was just being very, very stubborn. But I guess that goes to show that sometimes it is worth it to uninstall the game as a last resort fix lol.
Auri Sariel 1 Mar @ 1:09am
@cybrxkhan i did the most desperate thing i could have done, i uninstalled, EVERYTHING, game, mods everything, took me a while to get it all back but now after having to uninstal everything it finally works but its weird i had to delete everything every single game file to make it work
