Alright thanks for the (very) quick reply, I'll check this !
This mod should work fine for that version, I only changed the version number. The reason the giant mod isn't backwards compatible is because they added a race field to the morph changes.
Thanks for the mod, which is of course included <3
I tested it just now to be sure since I couldn't recall if I ever tested this. Using a new game I gave a ruler the 3 main traits and the albino trait. He was able to take the Strengthen the Bloodline decision without issue.
What you're experiencing is most likely a mod conflict. Some other mod is probably overwriting the changes from this mod causing it to revert back to a negative trait. Try shifting this mod further down in your load order so it overwrites any other mod messing with traits.
Good to hear you got it working now.
That could be it depending on how its made. Try moving my mod to the bottom of your load order and it should overwrite anything else attempting to change the albino trait.
After comparing the files the albino trait and giant trait have not received any changes from the recent patches. Also checking the launcher my mods are not shown as out of date with the version number they list.
There should be no reason the mod isn't working. Are you sure it wasn't disabled somehow?
It shouldn't have any issues being added or removed mid game its a very minor change.
I personally prefer to use a single mod that does both and is actively maintained. Just because something should work for future versions doesn't mean it won't get outdated. The Albino trait had a minor change with the index stuff being removed. The Giant trait however also had a new section of code added.

Thanks that makes sense now. I didn't dig too deep through your mod, so I wasn't sure what the change was mainly.
There's a tag Good = Yes/No which determines if it's positive. The albino trait was missing this so it was therefore Good = No. There's also enables_inbred = Yes/No which I removed for the giant trait version. It's a very minor change. There's .info files in the game folders that actually detail what all the tags do which makes modding things very easy.
There's a search function in the bottom right hand corner of the UI click the ... button. That covers the majority of things if you make use of the filters. You can search for traits by typing in the word of the trait and then selecting the trait. I don't plan to mess with modifying search options. There's actually a mod already called Advance Character Search already does a lot, not sure if its still working though.
It's not wrong and there is no neutral. The points required in character creation are set by the developers in the game files. The Albino trait actually requires 0 points oddly. There are two states for traits in the game Good and Bad. Good traits have bonuses in game to make them more likely, bad traits have bonuses in game to make them less likely. The Albino trait is labelled as bad, with this mod the trait is labelled as good.
I think this game needs a character selection or search menu in your political actions reach to search for interesting people at curts.
The problem with the marriage search is that you can only search for the opposite sex, you need a male person to trigger it for the opposite sex.
It would maybe useful to have a dedicated searcher or a tag that allows to search randomly just people to pin them. I never did search for education elements for a character, is it possible? This would equally be the only thing, beside of genetically and attractive traits, that would be interesting to search for.
As a vampire it is additionally interesting to search for people, as they aren't a product out of your main characters.
This is wrong mathematically wrong! If you pick it in character creation, it is indicated with +/- 0 points and you can pick it in the dynasty points menu as a trait that will appear more likely in your realm or as offspring, this literally means it is neutral.
This is my interpretation of the facts I see!
No, it does not. The attributes are exactly as they were.
Why not making it neutral!?
Tribal to feudal should really be equal by this.
All the mods for the giant trait that I checked were either out of date, didn't include the facial morph change or did dumb stuff like include the entire trait game file instead of just the section for the trait they were changing. As for the albino mods I'm not sure I never ended up checking them before making my own mod.
But now it has not to be transformed in positive.
It would be ok if it was simply normal, I mean without any consequence for the player.
When you say "positive" it means "normal"?
