Is there a way to keep the AI changes and discard the rest?

I'm talking about when the character is already grown up and you're playing as him. I think being able to change your lifestyle focus with no limits is pretty much cheating and goes beyond the scope of what the mod is supposed to fix.
I thought the mod was just supposed to make the AI better at educating their wardens. Shouldn't changes to the player be a separate mod?

this was done by many requests people wanted to be able to change it inline with what AI also does and which makes more sense during development of education and growth

Hey. This mod is setting to 0 the delay to choose a different lifestyle focus for my player character. So I can switch lifestyles as often as I want instead of every 5 years.
Anyone having the same issue? I had to reload again and again disabling various mods until I found this mod was the culprit.

@JesusChristIsLord Haven;t seen that happen before, could be a different mod that doest that. Nothing in the eduction files has anything that can cause that to happen

Hi mod author, I just have a question regarding about the functionality of this mod. Is it normal for my children to get educated by a guardian (by visiting to their court) and when they are of age, the game says they are at my court, but isnt?

I remember using the mod with AGOT a few months or so ago and at the time anyway it was giving dragons normal personality traits instead of the actual dragon ones. Haven't used it with AGOT since, though it could have just been a compatibility issue with another mod?

If anyone has made it work let me know, would love to be able to use it again.

that is correct focus changing was changed so the AI makes smarter decisions and so they can change it when a better education is possible

There seems to be an issue there is no cooldown for focus changing, i cna change them whenever i want both in this version and in the Better AI + Infinite Wards Versions

kinda dont work cause NPC dont have almost always nor a teacher nor a babysitter. If you could make them to have it but it costs real money at the 867 start

Error log gets spammed with education_martial because top lieges don't have a liege to reference on "root.liege".
Consider changing "root.liege =" to "root.liege ?=" to solve it

@FunGaming44 changed your mod to the last one on the list and received my first son + daughters started to get different child traits. Probably the game files were bugged for some reason... anyways, good mod, helps the AI maintaining interesting heirs for their lands :steamthumbsup:

Do your triggers author produce combined results or do you simply search for,lets say,one of the intelligent traits and then assign?Because if thats the case,a character with high learning might trigger your search-event to be true but he wont be suited for the education that we are looking for.Are your triggers enriched enough in order to produde the best guardian while taking into consideration,for example,the learning stat AND the education trait AND the education stat?Also how do you deal with parental priority regarding guardianship?

no idea why it isn't working correclty for you, never heard of this issue before and not experiencing it myself either. Like i said it is working as it should overhere without these issues and i cant replicate it either.

I also noticed that parents get priority in guardianship,even if they are not suited.Maybe thats the issue?

Maybe its the value of the Learning stat that you implemented in the choice for guardians?They disregard the actual education stat and try to find guardians with Learning?I dont know what else to think,this mod is actually non existent at the moment in my games.I am using it alone for testing purposes and i observe the game.Guardians with 2-3 teaching stat in whole Kingdoms is hardly the best choice.

I just observed the game at 867 start date,there are multiple instances of guardians with 0 at the stat they are teaching,most of the times it was Martial.Either this is a joke or something is seriously wrong with the mod or the update messed things up.

@FunGaming44 I fixed a ton of log spam from this mod about an invalid context switch by updating the root.liege context on this is_valid check:

@Codedependent It shows what it does in the screen shots, NPCs pick NPCs with good learning and a good Martial/depo ETC depending on the childs education

can you consider changing the check inside martial_education_valid from
culture = { has_cultural_tradition = tradition_fp1_performative_honour }
to
culture = { has_cultural_parameter = has_access_to_shieldmaidens }
for better compatibility with modded traditions?

and I think you should have the same check for female dominated societies, as you can make male shieldmaidens (shieldswains)
