30 is way too long regardless. you do know multiplayer exists, right? i want 3 seconds normally, 15 seconds during boss fights. NOT 3 seconds in boss fights and NOT 30 seconds in boss fights.

Yes, but when a boss despawns, the timer is supposed to go to 3 seconds, or however long you have set in the server config. Is that not happening? Besides, there is an option to ignore bosses when respawning.

i mean shortening the non-boss respawn timer by a certain amount and then shortening the boss respawn timer by a different amount. like 3-second non-boss respawns and 15-second boss respawns, cause on master mode this mod still locks the player into 30-second boss respawns.

What do you mean by "separately"?

please add an option to separately reduce boss respawn times it is so annoying (thanks steam for censoring swear words) dealing with 30-second respawn times when i specifically got this mod to reduce them.

Can You make it force despawn a boss on death so you can insta respawn aswell as the ability to toggle it, seen it in another mod but it has way to much other stuff in it

Can you tell, which bosses cause the problem, whether they are modded bosses and from which mod they are from if so? I might try to fix it sooner or later.

players' character sprites become jumbled in multiplayer on everyone's end but their own. tested and confirmed to be caused by better respawn and nothing else.

Does this happen without my mod? My mod only interacts with the timer, without influencing how the player respawns.

maybe, my mod barely adds anything complicated, just expanding on what the game already uses.

correct, we specifically tested with no mods enabled, our modlist with everything except this mod enabled, and only this mod enabled and the only scenario where this happened was with this mod enabled

although, a similar issue was apparently reported on the tmodloader discord made mention to the culprit being boss checklist, so it might just be tmodloader being stinky

Respawn time is capped at 30 seconds in Terraria itself. There is a way to bypass this, but it requires basically reimplementing the entire timer, which will cause compatability issues and other things. Not to mention that the initial intention was to make the respawn faster, while keeping the spirit and ballance of the base game.
