Sorry, I don't use Blender. I actually build models inside the editor. Because of that I have no clue on how to apply textures on a blender model. But I might be able to help you with other questions about map-creating.

This patch is the second part of my 3.0 update. I am planning on creating one more patch with more functions, but that will take some time. But for now, the greatest problems with the map should be solved.
But if you want to create the option to pay for acessing a path like the thwomp's in Mario Party, I think that is not possible in this form yet.
So I'm trying to make a map similar to the Goomba's one from Mario Party 8, but there's a zone that can make you move spaces away if you pay coins, I want to make something similar, but I don't know if is possible
They are following a path of 12 spaces inside the hut. Every space they have to pay 10 keys and the animation plus the move to space action takes place.

It is planned to integrate a similar feature to the Bowser spaces or the "Thomas Event" on my Pummel Express Map. I plan to bring this for update 3.0, but currently I am working on a new map so it might take some time.
I think this rare bug is a problem of the game itself because these spaces aren't custom ones. In the editor you just place a space and then decide the type. I will report this issue in a discussion so that the developers are aware of the problem.

I had looked at the map editor but I really don't know why this happened. The way from the top of the mountain to the trophy spawn you mentioned works normal and the board space wasn't even a custom one. In a few tests I had made it worked completely normal.
In case it happened because of the angle of the spawn, I will change it so that it is horizontal.
I hope that prevents this bug.
