Pictures related to the upgrade are included in several slideshows.
I don't know about feudal and clan ruler because I've not tried this mod.
I removed the upgrade feature back in 1.15, thought I removed it form the documentation too but looks like I forgot so I'll get around to that.
As for embedding, I don't see why it wouldn't work for laamp as long as they have a suitable artifact and relic but I haven't embedded a relic for a long while now so ig it could be broken, I'll have to test it out when I get some time.
Does embedding still work for a feudal/clan ruler?
Like I said it's already up to date, nothing affected this mod.
The mod is already compatible with 1.16.2
Unfortunately there is no string handling in sck3 script and no controllers that work with artifacts that provide that sort of functionality, so even if I could mash something up it would lag the game hard.
So I'm gonna have to say no for that feature.
I have no plans for additional slots, there are other mods that do that already.
I don't know as I don't play AGOT, you'd have to give it a try but I recommend you test it in a fresh campaign with only AGOT and AC in your playset.
AGOT doesn't modify the artifact window so there's a chance it will work.
I won't be doing it, the feature was way out of sync with ck3 due to the number of artifacts and modifiers involved, the effort to maintain it was just too much.
Maybe one day if I ever get the time to develop a external tool to aid in extracting all the artifact modifiers and injecting them into scripts but I don't see that happening any time soon.
Yes back in 1.15
You should read the change notes when a mod updates.
Sadly I had to remove the feature because it fell out of sync with ck3 a while back and getting worse as each DLC arrives and was too much of a burden to maintain.
It's going to be a couple of days before I can update my mods, but so far from what I've seen of the patch this mod shouldn't need anything other than a supported version number bump.
I wonder myself why some artifacts can't be upgraded to illustrious but it's a vanilla effect that just doesn't apply to some artifact and they never seem to be anything special so I put it down to an unknown vanilla issue.
Just wanted to note this seemed to still work just fine otherwise.
The mod works fine.
You probably have a clash with another mod in your playset.
Start a fresh game with only Artifact Curator in your playset and try again.
Working on it atm but it's not going well, so gonna be a while.
Yeah makes sense, though I wasn't aware @kincaid was using the sub mod.
I wish people would understand that before they blame a mod for their problems, they should run the mod on it's own in vanilla, and if it works in vanilla their issue lies in their playset not the mod.
I don't know anything about the sub mod so can't say what issues it has, but yes the case of the loc keys makes a difference, and I only changed the variables case on 5th March 2024, so prior to that it probably showed the correct text.
Yes I changed the variables to lowercase to align with vanilla standards.
On a side note, did you change your variables from uppercase to lower case since May 2023?
Never had the time to come back and balance the few costs in this mod.
As for combining the views, I prefer them to be separate.
1) Gift mode was created to help distribute artifacts from raids around a ruler's realm, not independent rulers, for that the vanilla function still works.
2) I have just tested the Scavenger module and it works as intended, all listed rulers artifacts are shown on the right, and I can purchase claims to their artifacts. I can also purchase claims to a character's artifacts by clicking on them in any window or list and opening their inventory from their portrait.
3) I have just tested the embed relic and the artifacts appear on the left, with the relics appearing on the right, they are not duplicated in either list, and I successfully embedded a relic in to an artifact.
4) There are five buttons to the right of each artifact, the top left button reforge/repair, top right button upgrade, middle left button auto repair, middle right button sell, bottom button shows artifact details.
It sounds like you have a conflict with at least one other mod.
