Good map, still missing several side easter eggs like the one with the antenna and the Dempsey gun. As well as some kind of World at War Ray Gun EE reference. Still decent.

Nice map and easter egg, wonder weapon sux tho. If u wanna clear the boss fights in seconds just use the gun that shoots explosive bullets when PaPed (from bo4, don't remember the name)

I love the map, the only downside is that it always crashes, no matter where I am in the Easter Egg — the same thing happens over and over again.
Also, with Samantha's Curse, it crashes when I jump the fence to blow up the RAPS near the tree.

This just isn't good,unfortunately. Too many doors to open leaving no room to buy perks or guns, not enough space to move, too small and boring of a map.

Pro tip to everyone, you do NOT need to wait for the RAPS powerup, as you can actually buy it, to do such, bring the shield onto the airship and look for a yellow sign with a RAPS cutting a man in half, then hit it with the shield until it falls. Pick up this sign, then go back down to Shoot Haus, and go on top of the generator, and on the wooden boxes, place the sign on a faint, moldy ass outline. Now you can become a RAPS for 250 points.

the map is beautiful, but why make SO MUCH of the map and easter egg completely reliant on RNG? was literally still on step one and was at round 26 just waiting for the rap drop. honestly the easter egg is so random and unecessarily frustrating that it actually ruined our run. after 2.5 hours of playing we just quit from boredom and frustration. 9/10 on the map, 3/10 on the easter egg. so many fucking steps based on RNG like digs, drops, perks, cmon man

What I'd recommend is once you finish the "three blue puddles" step, launch back to the zeppelin, do the lockdown, then proceed accordingly from there.

Very odd and small bug in the midst of it all but if this is something the creator can fix at some point, that'd just be a wonderful quality of life change suited for the anyone who will/who has run the Easter Egg on this map. Otherwise? Extremely easy to work around. 2/2

To anyone that's new to this map...do NOT let this comment deter you from playing and doing the Easter Egg! This is a simple bug that can be worked around.

From what I've experienced (with and without mods, ie. AAE) there's a certain sequence of steps that will definitively crash your run in a heart beat.

Whatever you do...do NOT complete the "eight blue lights in the zeppelin" step before the lockdown step with the punch cards. I've tried to streamline the Easter Egg by doing as much as I can before doing most of the steps required in the zeppelin and this is how I figured it out. What I've deterred is once you do the "blue light" step THEN activate the lockdown, once the Panzer spawns, the game will crash without hesitation and end your run with a "connection interrupted". 1/2

gameplay is great. like all modded maps, the EE steps are a bit a jank but overall this is one of if not the best map on the workshop.

The guns are bugged

I picked up Raygun - packed it and then Mk2 later on and upon pickup the original Raygun disappeared.

The other weapon in the box is a grenade and when I died with mule - 2/3 of my weapons disappeared instead of just one.

Map is buggy and needs testing.

The valve step for the Flaregun is incredibly obnoxious. Hard to find and the entire ship is filled with random jets of steam.

Otherwise, I actually love the normal non-EE gameplay.

Worst map I have every played. The wonder weapon is so ass that I would rather have a SMR and a jet gun to do a round 100. Easter egg is a joke that does not work and is super convoluted. Do not play this. Ever.

This is not a good map. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MAP. the pathing of the zombies, the main and side mission quests, the process of it all is annoyingly convoluted and not worth your time. There are so many other maps to go play.

The EE havent been working in the past few weeks, the shoot the rock step with the wounder weapon dosent do anything. You can skip right away to the shoot the antenna but the next step dosent work and you are stuck on there

i honestly didn't even process that it was shoothouse at first, and i have literally 30 days of in game time on MW19, at least a quarter of which is probably on shoothouse, so as far as aura goes, this is top fuckin tier. whoever did visual work for this should absolutely pat themselves on the back. that said, it is not perfect; the zombie pathing gets kinda fucky near the radio desk, and i have had the game crash on me. also, pls buff the panic attack's penetration, i love the inclusion of it as a tf2 enjoyer but for zombies i think shotguns should be able to pen a few zombies. as it stands i dont feel confident using it to spam my way out of a situation because it can only kill a few zombies at a time (haven't tried pap'd yet tho)

Connection Interupted/ Game crash happens too often on this map. Only map it happens to me and my friend on. Wish it can get addressed would make this map a lot better even tho I already enjoy it. It just ruins the map tbh.

map is ok and the easteregg sucks have to wait 10 rounds to get a drop that turns you into a rolley polly so you can go down a random path you would never find on your own and blow up a tree!??!? Friend got disconnected so we alt f4'd the map on round 40 waiting for the drop.

still best map! Best weapons, best map disign, great but long and hard ee! Very nice map. But need side quests! This map don't have side quets brother! Need side quests. I dont like origins! But like this map so much! NEED SIDE EE! FOR REPLAYING! NEEED SIDE EE UPDATE

I genuinely want to like this map, but every time I try to finish the ee some bs always happens. From crashing in the middle of the game, to being permanently getting white screened after the lockdown step, I am always forcibly kicked out of the game. Therefore I cannot recommend this map to anyone. Also, random perks and the R.A.P.S rounds are fucking annoying

HazyGray Custom Map Reviews: Shoot Haus

This map is exactly what it says on the tin. It's a love letter to fans of the Black Ops 2 map Origins, and it's absolutely brilliant. It captures the visual style of Origins perfectly, and mixes enough of its own unique content to help it stand out. Plus, some of the major alterations that weapons can receive via the Pack-A-Punch actually made me want to PAP all the weapons to see what would happen. A must play for fans of Origins.

Thank you for explaining the WW parts as well. I feel as though I still have a lot to explore with this map, which I am looking forward to. I gushed aloud when I saw how well you captured the essence of Origins on one of my personal favorite MW multiplayer maps, and I think narratively and aesthetically this is one of the COOLEST ideas I have ever seen for a custom map. I do quite enjoy it minus these gripes, and I look forward to any further projects you may release. :)

I feel like the best way to fix the issue with randomness would be to have three guaranteed perks come in earlier at set intervals, albeit in a random order. This way both building the launch pad as well as getting certain perks feels rewarding-the player knows exactly when and what to expect to an extent. After the launch pad is built, the previous system which offers completely random perks returns, keeping late game feeling fresh and exciting.

For PaP, I played this map with other people so the morse code wasn't difficult, just rather boring and out of place. I can see it being complete hell for a solo player. Forcing the player to stop moving for a set period is the antithesis to cod zombies-a mode about keeping your head on a swivel while constantly moving to ensure safety. If the player is forced to lock down in a single spot, the gameplay suffers greatly. Even if it were something like a small area they could roam in freely--it would be leagues better than the current system.

@ChickenHatMan I appreciate your openness to criticism, as well as the quick response.

If you were a fan of the Nuketown perk system, that is honestly completely fine and I can see why one might enjoy it. It offers a completely different experience each time you play the map, which adds replay value. I would however state that in a map of this nature, the randomness hurts the overall setup process. Getting something such as mule kick early on is going to be a complete waste of an investment, leading you to ignore the perk completely and thusly hurting overall sense of progression.

The random perks work in NT because the map doesn't have much going on in terms of gameplay options-it is a barebones survival map. This map has more depth and options for the player, both in terms of narrative and gameplay, which is why I feel like the RNG elements merely take away from the otherwise brilliant design ideas you have implemented--they juxtapose awkwardly and make progression feel scuffed.

@JackisJack Absolutely fair assesment, however the map's setup process is very much designed to become more streamlined with repeat playthroughs and more experience.
The perk system isnt entirely random, but that criticism is definitely fair. I was personally a fan of the nuketown system (and did what I could to alleviate some if its issues with the early jugg guarantee and the like) but I can see why that is off-putting to some.
The morse-code transmission step for the PaP unlock process only has to be done once, the second time is completely optional (and quicker than the first) for a small points bonus and is mostly there for the sake of narrative.
As for WW parts, the ones found in the dig sites again aren't totally random, you'll only be able to excavate them during certain rounds or after the gold shovel is acquired. Admittedly the intricacies of this step (and other stuff in the map) is a little unclear, and that may be a failure on my part.

I love almost everything about this map. It is insanely cool. It is however, dragged down by awful design choices. So many of the mechanics of this map are tied to RNG. It has the same perk system as Nuketown--(yes, the one everybody makes fun of for being so poorly designed.) The pack a punch unlock process involves the player standing in front of a desk without moving for thirty seconds or so TWICE (I am dead serious). Certain wonder weapon parts are tied to digging and hoping you get the part from said dig.

God I want to love this map as an Origins fanboy, but every single design decision it has feels as though it was made to very intentionally waste your time. So exhaustingly tedious to play.
