Hi, I've pushed the update for this, you can now toggle on/off the different types of stars via customiozations.
To get the update right away follow the same steps as below unsubscribe -> Close wallpapers engine -> allow steam to uninstall the wallpaper -> subscribe again -> open wallpaper engine and apply.

Hi both, wallpaper works fine on my side.
A file might have gotten corrupted when you restarted/shutdown your pc. Could you try the following:
- Unsubscribe from the wallpaper.
- Close wallpaper engine and give steam 10-20seconds or so to uninstall the wallpaper (it doesn't uninstall if you don't close wallpaper engine)
- Try to subscribe to it again
