New version here: http://cs2bus.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=748072134
Please try it out it is near completion. I need some feedback if it is working properly. Even if you don't have the Chicago Aurora Sub Racetrack DLC you can still use it. Let me know how it goes.

As far as I am concerned you can do what you like. If you don't alter it too much you can even post a link to this page from where you got it. Happy Route Building, enjoy! Remember you'll need the payware routes in order to see objects. Such as Norfolk Southern Coal and others. If you want, you can add tracks and objects to something I have not touched, and then with cooperation I can also add stuff to it. Upload it each time you work on it. You know what I mean? So we add to it rather than change it. But if you just want to change it go ahead. I think the parts I have is polished. You may know better than me as you live there. Maybe you can do a short patch and 'show me' what looks the most real there. I haven't spent a lot of time in Illinois or Chicago but want to visit one day.

Okay I was asking because Matt Peddelsden played this route on his stream and It looked really great. One question though, would you be made if I recreated this and published it?
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 23 Jun, 2016 @ 6:11am
Ok guys, haven't been working on it lately. I may do some work on it occaisonally. No Promises. Download the latest. v1.7
StevenJam 21 Jun, 2016 @ 11:57am
Any plans on updating this route? I live really close to it and would love to see this built. I am also working on a route that goes from West Chicago up to Belvidere to the Auto Facility up there. Would love see a new version of this. ~ StevenJam

Let me see if I understand, ANZAC/AAPG. There are 6 versions of this route. I think this one v1.7 should be the latest. I am not yet subscribed. Should I download one by one of the 6 or just this v1.7?
Other than tthat, for what I have read and seen, I only can say you to keep working on it. I am sure I will like this route very much with BNSF and CN running over their tracks
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 21 Aug, 2015 @ 5:37am
Maybe I haven't added spawn points yet for the Rockford sub. Still lots of work to do. I haven't touched this route for a while. thanks for the comments.
needfood 20 Aug, 2015 @ 1:09am
This route is partially the reason why im buying all the DLCs to run it. I live across the street from this route in genoa and its very exciting to see that some one put this in the workshop. Any hopes on the CN Rockford Sub?

Thanks for the comments. Please use capitals when making a sentence or your comment will be deleted. If you can't be bothered in making the effort, neither can I with bothering to help you.

WORTH SUBSCRIBING

I'm very picky about what I'll add to my train sim and immediately discard anything that doesn't measure up to my quality standards. While this still needs a little work here and there, it is a worthy effort and will remain on my hard drive. I look forward to seeing future versions.

This is a REALLY cool job! It's good to finally see a CPR/CN/SP route that is enjoyable to play!
kpmoore53 17 Mar, 2015 @ 1:43pm
Looks like it will be a good route. I hope you'll continue with it. Enjoyed! Thanks!
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 18 Feb, 2015 @ 8:48pm
Yes it's pretty good once you get NS. Get it on a super sale, they have them 4 times a year approximately.
HingusDingus 18 Feb, 2015 @ 5:48am
Okay, I tested it out, and it turns out that track was used from NSCD, so it is unplayable. Still, looks like a great work, and I enjoy playing it when I get the NS Coal District :)
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 18 Feb, 2015 @ 12:44am
Yes.
HingusDingus 17 Feb, 2015 @ 6:01am
Okay, and I realize now I could just place my own scenery if need be :)
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 17 Feb, 2015 @ 5:02am
Just try it and see. There is only 20-30 miles so far of track with scenery.
HingusDingus 16 Feb, 2015 @ 6:43pm
How much of the NS COal District is used for this route? Would it be playable without it/
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 10 Feb, 2015 @ 10:06am
Thank you.
FreightDawg 8 Feb, 2015 @ 3:21pm
Looks great so far definitely a work in progress,
kris120 16 Dec, 2014 @ 4:21am
As I know updates don't work with scenarios. But they should work with routes. Thanks for your positive feedback.
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 15 Dec, 2014 @ 9:52pm
If it works I will publish UPDATES not NEW routes.
kris120 14 Dec, 2014 @ 3:15am
Please don't publish your versions everytime by new. Use the possibility of updates, which is working for routes.
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 14 Nov, 2014 @ 11:29pm
I will have a look soon and let you know.
T0G00D4THIS 13 Nov, 2014 @ 2:04pm
I love this map, one of the best in workshop. I was just curious when you might be updating it next. Im looking very forward to the next update.
PFC Alcatraz 5 Nov, 2014 @ 5:04pm
i might have to buy this game just for this mod
thats great tho man keep up the good work
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 4 Nov, 2014 @ 11:47pm
Currently about 15 miles for 2 tracks which are separate, CP and CN. So up to 30-40 miles in total.
PFC Alcatraz 4 Nov, 2014 @ 6:31pm
How big is the map and by that i mean how much rail line is there
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 1 Nov, 2014 @ 11:38am
Thanks FoodMonster, I overlooked that. I will attempt to rework it sometime but I havent worked this route for a while.
Daniel_Higginz 31 Oct, 2014 @ 2:02pm
I may try and get this route this weekend except one thing to point out some crossings are backwards. In the USA road signs ar eon the right hand side of the road. Looking good though.

RJVANDRIESSCHE-Please use capital letters to start your sentences.
If you don't know how to restart Steam then when you shut down your computer it will shut down anyway. Then after you POWER OFF then POWER ON your PC.
Also for your future reference (and this time you can try it) go to www.google.com and type in "How do I restart Steam" and there will most likely be some information for you.
To restart Steam you shut it down (close the program) then restart it. The bottom corner right hand side of your screen in Windows 7 or XP you will see a Steam icon. In Windows 7 you need to click the up pointer to show you which programs are open. Then right click on Steam and Shut Down. It is the bottom menu item EXIT.
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 8 Oct, 2014 @ 6:51am
Restart Steam and see if it works.

What addons are required for this route
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 25 Sep, 2014 @ 5:46pm
Yes, StevenJam you can make as many youtube videos of this route as you want as long as you don't focus on the parts without scenery as it is a work in progress. I believe you understand that.
Winston, thanks. You are to make scenarios any time you like but also when it is final.
It will be updated soon, not just right now. I hope I can have an update in November, but not for final though.
winston 25 Sep, 2014 @ 4:10am
Just made and ran a couple of free roams. You already have alot of hours into this but I'm looking forward to future updates.
I loaded up Google Maps and it appears that your layout is pretty close to the real thing.
I'll check back soon and give you a click towards final when you ready.
I may make a scenario or two for the Workshop once it's final if that's Ok with you.
StevenJam 24 Sep, 2014 @ 7:00pm
Can I make Youtube Videos of this route
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 16 Sep, 2014 @ 9:07am
If you want you can share your photos in railworks america route building forum for me. You will be able to find my route there. The topic that is, not the file.
Have you driven this yet?
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 16 Sep, 2014 @ 9:06am
Thanks both of you.

Hi Derrick, this is the latest version. You only need to subscibe to this one. When the next one comes out you subscribe to that one and then you will have two versions. It is up to you to unsubscribe from the older version then.
derrick706 5 Sep, 2014 @ 4:46am
I haven't subscribed yet. I was just looking at the DLC requirements and I don't have the NS Coal route yet. So, I'll wait til I get that one.
derrick706 5 Sep, 2014 @ 4:40am
Which version should I subscribe to? Do I need to subscribe to all? or just the lastest one? Which is what....1.7?
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 4 Sep, 2014 @ 10:58pm
FoodMonster I estimate it is at least a month before a 'Lite' version is available for 'Final', which must be made by users voting the route as favourite. When I say a month it could be December before it is ready. No timetable, it will be ready when its ready. But you will find this enjoyable, this release.
Daniel_Higginz 4 Sep, 2014 @ 4:25pm
Will this be made final anytime soon? I may try and check it out whenever I get TS2014 reinstalled to my repaired laptop and possibly some scenarios. Looking good!
derrick706 3 Sep, 2014 @ 1:29pm
I haven't yet. But, I will and i'll let you know how it goes.
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [author] 2 Sep, 2014 @ 5:21pm
Thanks. Did you have a drive of the route yet?
