Would this be possible for the Medic and Engineer too? Since he has the Quick-Fix, that mirrors blast jumps, and Engineer can rocket jump with the Wrangler? In the same vein that those plane / helicopter cosmetic items which are available for every class who can get airborne in some way.

It’s not timeline issues that bug me, it’s the amount of detail this has. No other good looking, normal shoe cosmetic has this level of detail.

In all honesty the timeline doesn’t matter for items like this much. If Valve wishes to add it and sees the era they originate from as an issue, they can make it work just like the Boston Boom Bringer.

Just because an item is certified compatible for TF2 doesn't mean it will fit the style of TF2 (which is what he probably meant by "does not work")

please add a "stinky" style where he has no shoes and it's just his socks and there's stink lines coming off of them and all the mercs are licking them and the socks are REALLY dirty and his pants are rolled up and he says "how do THOSE puppies taste" after every kill
