@isma

Both mods edit the character_event.gui so they are incompatible, sorry

Is this mod compatible with bigger fonts mod? It doesn't seem to in crease font size.

@xiChann

It doesn't crash for me, very likely it is a conflict with a submod. To be sure put my mod last on your modlist so it overwrites all other character_window files of other submods, though maybe my isn't the problem because editing the event window shouldn't cause crashes.

Causes crashes in all orientations I have tried for AGOT, might be another mod/submod conflict
xiChann 19 iun. la 10:23
For AGOT do I place this below or above?

Same like @mriud said. The background of the text is black instead of the faded blueish vanilla one. Is it possible to change it to the vanilla styled background colour?

amazing mod. can you please, please, please make event text font larger. I have been struggling with reading vanilla event text. That would be wonderful. thank you

@Neutrino

Holy s*** thank you for the idea, i didn't even know that character_event window was a window on its own. You're a godsend :luv::luv:
Neutrino 27 sept. 2024 la 2:21
@guillermuin: A possible approach to avoid updating this too much in the future is to look into the gui files and change the basic character event UI to be a copy of the big event window instead. gui/event_windows is where you should be looking.

This was brilliant bud, thank you!

@Uncle

As I said, if the mod is set to be loaded at the top of the modlist it shouldn't cause any issues apart from the fact that vanilla events touched by other mods and new events will look different from others. It's a visual incompatibility, nothing else.
One Proud Brazilian 25 sept. 2024 la 16:20
There is no compatibility issue. Only that all modded events will be displayed in old window.

The true down side is that the mod author will need to update this mod frequently, to account Paradox changes on vanilla events after every patch.
Conquest 25 sept. 2024 la 15:34
@One Proud Brazilian definitely, and I’m scared to use this mod because of incompatibility :steamsad:
One Proud Brazilian 25 sept. 2024 la 14:59
The difference is BRUTAL! Paradox MUST make this format vanilla. ;s
