the mod is cool, but for some reason my 11 year old character couldn't lead an army, but his 10 year old brother could

I have translated your mod into German (AI assisted) and added the localization to my translation mod: https://cs2bus.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3355568022
Of course, you can extract the files and add them to your own mod, or include a link to the mod in your description — or do neither. As you wish! ☺︎

@Beef Stew That's part of Vanilla CK3. When you have multiple armies with commanders in a single battle on one side, the battle uses the combat advantage of the leader with the best commander traits.

@Barracuda I'll look into adding that to the next update.

My vassals keeps taking over my battles even though my character is meant to be commanding

Would an additional rule for Dynasty/House only be possible?

Thanks shit head.

@Vhodnoylogin The mod uses localized text in game. If you're playing in a language other than English and don't use a translation sub-mod, then any text related to the mod will appear in English (because the mod contains dummy localization files to prevent localization errors from appearing during gameplay).
Vhodnoylogin 20 May @ 6:36am
Does it require localisation in the game itself? Or all text just about game rules?

Great mod

v1.14 Released which allows rulers to place their marshal in command based on the newly added game rule.
shit head  [author] 6 Apr @ 7:52am
@Tito Lounge Marshals can already lead under certain government types such as theocracies because those realms ignore most commander limitations (see description). Nonetheless I may add a game rule for players who want less restriction.
Tito Lounge 6 Apr @ 3:35am
Hey, I have another suggestion: I think you should include the Marshal in Tier 0 or at least Tier 1, since it was literally his job to lead the troops of his liege. besides, if catholic theocracies are at war, there is usually no one who is able to lead their armies since they usually dont have a family and they cant lead armies themselves, giving them a glaring disadvantage in war.

@SewerGoblin
@Tamborine Williams

Thanks for the reports, AGOT issues should be resolved in latest update.
Tamborine Williams 5 Apr @ 12:06pm
When I use this mod, three traits appear at the top of the list of available trait when creating a custom character. Maester, Ruins, and Dragon. They have no effects or thumbnails.
I have no AGOT mods on said playset.
SewerGoblin 5 Apr @ 11:35am
@Milsugione
I did it both ways, both before and after, both times on fresh installs of the mod to make sure I didn't modify anything. Both times women would be eligible as knights.
Milsugione 5 Apr @ 6:14am
you put it after AGOT @SewerGoblin
SewerGoblin 4 Apr @ 7:59pm
I think there may be an issue with the A Game Of Thrones mod. I tried loading War Lords before and after A Game Of Thrones in load order. Each time, it shows a lot of women eligible as knights. It doesn't seem tied to any single culture or prowess level.
DiscoH0BBIT 4 Apr @ 5:03pm
does this work with AGOT?
Tito Lounge 4 Apr @ 11:00am
@shit head: Wow that was fast, thank you very much!
bashar 4 Apr @ 5:14am
hey this is a great mod! what percentage would you apply for the reduced levy contribution from interactive vassals?
shit head  [author] 3 Apr @ 8:17pm
@Tito Lounge I've added some initial compatibility for MSC in the latest update.
Tito Lounge 3 Apr @ 12:16pm
Hey, great mod!
I realised it isnt compatible with "More Single Combat", is there anything you can do about that?
majinbuub 3 Apr @ 3:24am
p.s. nothing wrong with this mod, I'm just mad it still isn't a feature in ck3 :steamsad:
shit head  [author] 3 Apr @ 12:42am
Yes it's compatible with EK2
klontvoss 2 Apr @ 9:50am
dus the mod work with the elden kings 2 mod ?
majinbuub 2 Apr @ 6:23am
Anyone else annoyed that in this game you can't lead troops into battle and be a knight at the same time?? Like I want to lead myarmy into battle and slay enemies, why not?
Arsehole Annihilator 1 Apr @ 6:24am
Nvm then, I only saw diarchs for some reason. No complaints then lol
shit head  [author] 31 Mar @ 11:50am
It's PoW that adds the Gathering Commanders mechanic, which this mod is compatible with.
AfterlifeBarista 31 Mar @ 11:47am
Could this potentially work with Travelers? IIRC that mod disables anyone to command an army unless they travel to where the army is gathered.
hamletsdead 31 Mar @ 11:41am
This is niiiiiiccccce.
shit head  [author] 31 Mar @ 10:30am
Regents and diarchs are already a part of "Tier 0: Rulers"
Arsehole Annihilator 31 Mar @ 10:13am
Great idea for a mod. Just a small suggestion, I would add the Regent to one of these tiers so that someone doesn't end up incapable and unable to appoint a commander.
Milsugione 31 Mar @ 9:38am
this is great for AGOT for more highborn deaths! W mod
Mightus 30 Mar @ 4:04pm
the councillor, I mean
Mightus 30 Mar @ 4:01pm
I've got an idea, maybe you could include realm Marshal to also be able to lead armies in one of the rules.
shit head  [author] 30 Mar @ 3:23pm
@EnumaEllis Note that's it's not a flat 25% buff to all damage, but rather a 25% damage increase in addition to the existing damage from battle advantage. This is achieved by doubling the base game's +5 advantage for ruler's leading their troops to +10. I've updated the description to make this a bit clearer.

Since most armies will be lead by their ruler now anyway, this is less of a "reward" for those armies and more of a nerf to armies that aren't being lead by the ruler that owns it (it's equivalent to lowering the commander's martial ability during battle). Due to how commander advantage works, the AI will take this into account as well when deciding who to put in command.
shit head  [author] 30 Mar @ 2:43pm
@John Marston I've just released a compatibility update for AGOT
EnumaEllis 30 Mar @ 12:48pm
25% is way, waaaaaay too much. I don't want the mod to make it rewarding, but more interesting and thematic. Keep at at 10%, no more, and it needs to have certain traits attached to get even 10%, like ambitious or brave or even zealous.
John Marston 30 Mar @ 12:01pm
does this work with agot? AGOT Immersion has some features I'm not particularly fond of that this one does away with
shit head  [author] 30 Mar @ 10:42am
@NerdyVampire

If a ruler is incapable then their realm will enter into a power-sharing regency. With this mod diarchs are able to lead in the ruler's stead, so they will take over command. I've just added a new rule "Powerful Vassals" for people who don't want as much restriction but still don't want randos entrusted with leading the king's troops.

You raise an interesting point though; maybe tying vassal commander-ship to a new Feudal Contract type or to Crown Authority could be a compelling mechanic.
