Well done map pack. Very nice story line and artistic quality. The puzzles were very good and the rotating faith plates are a cool test element. Only netagive I found was a couple ways to get stuck towards the middle of the third map.

Fantastic maps and puzzles. Thanks for making these. Puzzle difficulty was just right, enough to make you think for a short while and feel good about solving the problem.

Awesome maps!

That wasn't too bad. Near the end of the second map was annoying, though. Overall, pretty decent.

I just started a conversation on steam you might be interested in. I'm asking hammer map designers if they would like to try making a map with the Animal King. Will you comment? http://cs2bus.com/workshop/discussion/882949475732040662/?appid=620&tscn=1337543784

One of the best map packs yet! Challenging without being too frustrating, and beautifully designed. My only criticism is that the first part is too short, I would have really liked to explore that outside world a little more and perhaps have had a few puzzles upon first entering the facility.

Holy cow, this is amazing. This s my favorite kind of map to play or make: Tests with BTS areas scattered liberally throughout, and affecting the puzzles. The design looks awesome and is self consistant (I.E. Broken panels on the floor are under holes in the roof), and I like the way you tell a story as you go. The first area outside looks wierd, but really, what can you do with the defualt resources for that kind of thing? Also, the button for the door to the last room needs to have a clip brush put under it to prevent portals being placed under it and leaving it hanging in midair. Overall, awesome maps, and I'm going to have to take notes. Well done.

Very enjoyable map pack, the puzzles were not relatively difficult but still enough for a challenge nonetheless. I really liked the immersion you allowed us by leaving room for exploration, it really felt like there was a story being told, like in the "campaign." Thank you very much for your time and effort and I look forward to "testing" your future works.

Very good job.

If they are as impressive as your other puzzles, I have no problem with that! 8D

I'm not sure I will make any more map packs, they are very time consuming to create. I might make smaller puzzles though.

Very nice job overall. Will you be making more levels like this?
soptipp1  [author] 11 May, 2012 @ 5:56am
Actually, my reason for having it a bit confusing in the end is to make the player stop and explore the surroundings. But I can see that some might find it annoying.

The level could use a little more direction, that is, it is difficult to navigate some of the levels. In particular, the last part of the last level (during all the fire and stuff), I missed the keycard and spent more time that I should have trying to find it. This is remeniscient of that part near the end of Chapter 7 of the Portal 2 single-player, where you have to push the button in a side room. 3 of my friends who played the game on my account all missed that button and were confused as to the next course of action. It's just out of the way, and we have no indication that it is required. If you have to have it in for the story to make sense, might I suggest having it more out in the open, so it is easier to find.
