Yes, it is a texture replacer of 2 maps seen ingame.

Easiest place to see this is on the "battle overview" tables (e.g. Whiterun [Dragonsreach]).

Dont know why it doesnt work for you. Maybe its better if you try the nexus version and install it manually:

[installation]
simply extract with 7zip, move the textures folder to your ...Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\DATA and overwrite if prompted!

[remove]
if you want to remove the textures, simply go to "...data/textures/dungeons/imperial/" and delete battlemap01, battlemap01_n and battlemap02.dds

Bethesda should make their games all 4K / 2K / 1K / 720p Textures - most PC players can really benefit from increased graphics quality, like your excellent mod! Thanks !

Because the edges of the map get grabbed hold of or rest on the tables/floors so they get dirty and thus over time get darker.

It's not the map bound to "m" but the rather the batllefield maps which you can see in some areas of the game.

@ Silent Death This is the map you seea near Farengar, for example, and it's the same map you'll see in every hold, with Imperial and Stormcloak little flags on it

I installed it and it is checked in the options menu, but the map looks the same as it always did, and I still can`t see any roads.

@ doomcreeper: Sry, I cant read macedonian letters.
@shodowscale: I downloaded a new texturemod for the noble furniture and this is why the wood looks different on this pictures.
@Vatill: do you mean the map which you use to teleport?

Looks awesome, but i don't suppose you could make the actual map layout look this clear? After i downloaded some mod (Been going on a spree so im not sure which) and it made my map all fuzzy and hard to look at.
