There was a bug in the interim chamber between the first test room and the second. I couldn't get through the wall and had to clip through it. Not sure if I missed something obvious but there were no portalable surfaces, and no way to traverse the wall other than that, solid man. Fun chambers all around.

A great puzzle. I loved the look and the game play. I didn't have any of the problems that everyone else talked about. Either the puzzle was updated since they played or they over thought it.

Excellent! The last chamber is the hardest. There are several solutions talked about. The one that worked for me was to get the cube on the lower level by letting it drop down the center into a portal, then fling toward you from the angled surface on the far wall. It may take 10 tries, but eventually you will get it to land below. I suspect that the weeds around the cube dispenser make the cube travel unstable. Solutions which have the cube dropping from the ceiling to floor or solutions where you place portals on the fly are extremely difficult and I could never get them to work. Once you have the cube, follow the gravity beam out and up to the ceiling, letting go of the cube only when you need to place a portal. Once on the ceiling let the cube float above your head, place the portal on the angled surface on the far wall, grab the cube as you drop and fling up to the exit. Hope that was helpful!

Beautifully made; I love these big environments. I too had the problem with the spinning cube in the last part. It is a bit tricky to get it right; it al comes down to correct portal placement, although the last two portals that you have to shoot while the cube is falling down are extra tricky to shoot fast & accurate. :p2aperture:

Cool map but the last part is really bugged, when the cube falls into the portal it starts spinning and falls in the water. had to try it 15/20 times before i coudl make it flight straight...

Very enjoyable. Slightly challenging, but I had none of the problems that others report in their comments. Much better than Map 01, which was a bit short and easy.

i love the identity maps! but map 02 is absolutely unplayable. the reflectorcube keeps flying to the left its impossible to catch it. i tried if about 20 times but it always drifted to the left and fell into the slimy water... couldnt finish 02. 1+3 were just pure awesome 10/10 :D:

very difficult.
even when you figure out what to do.
hard to achieve.
when droped from ceiling held by tractor beam, by firing portal beneath me, & came up other portal, I had below spikes, when not getting killed by spikes, I was so disorientated, that I kept missing the button & beam it is on.
when I eventualy landed on the beam & pressed the button, I could not see for ages, what it had done. (facing wrong way & know yellow dots to follow, as with second button) to get to the extended platform, I could nto see the place I had last exited a portal, as was under the beam I was standing on. as for trying to get the cube by pressing the button in exit area-neat, that we would try to repeat the sequence that we used to get there & it did not work. you gave use a clue, by Glados talking about calculating weight.getting the cube to perpetualy fall to increase speed, then come out of the portal on the plate we launched to the exit area, genius.

for those having trouble with a spinning cube on the last puzzle

the placement of your entrance portal is the key. Standing on the left of the extended platform worked for me.

This chamber looks great and was fun to play.

For those of you stuck on the cube

What I did was to place the cube slightly in front of me and then use the funnels to traverse the chamber as I did before. Just after I shot the last portal to fling myself back up to the exit door I then grabbed the cube, and the cube then goes through the portal with you

Unless I was solving it incorrectly, it was hard to get the timing correct. Died a bunch of times. But still enjoyed it.

Irritating as hell - not a hard puzzle just a very awkward single move which constantly ends you up repeateding ad nauseam.

good, but please if you can add a respawn point after glados says somthing about "oh you survived" so if someone dies they dont have to START THE MOTHER FUCKING TEST FROM THE MOTHER FUCKING BEGINING. sorry its just ive done this fucking thing about 1,000 times in the last 30 or so minutes and gotten very close 2 or 3 times, fixe that and i'll give it a thumbs up

@flashmoZZg: As said, these were made long before the Portal 2 Tools came out and i only did this to find my way in to portal mapping. This was made without tutorials or other references :)

this is bugged as hell. After completing the 1st ma this was automatically loaded in SINGLEPLAYER (not multiverse) and after i completed 2nd map i stuck in elevator

Ok, at first I thought I was missing something. But now that I have looked at the walkthrough, I realize there is something wrong with this puzzle! The single biggest issue is that I could not get the cube to drop out of the cube dispenser in a strait manner. I tried dropping the cube and it would always deflect left or right. (Usually left!) After trying 20 times, I gave up and watched the walkthrough. (In the walkthrough, the players does exactly the same thing but the cube fires all the way up to the chamber where the players grabs the cube.) I got the puzzle but something is wrong with the cube mechanics. (I tried resetting the portals but I had no luck.)

I made the last chamber at the 3th time, I was amazed of how I managed to put those portals, making a super ninja style mouse change. Great map.

Fantastic looking map.
The first room puzzle is super easy. It looks stunning, no doubt about that. The fizzler maze is also great looking, but it doesn't quite fit the destruction theme.
Super use of lights and shadows again in the second room, those crushers look even more mean now.
In the second room, that first angled panel looks like it should be portable, but it isn't and you might not find out until you're stuck infront of it. Maybe something else could block there instead that doesn't look like all the other portable panels.
The top button blocks the obvious spot to jump down, making for more failed attempts to hit the platform and death.
Almost making it to the grating platform from the button made me think it was a matter of me needing to do a tiny bit better, that was annoying until I decided to find my momentum elsewhere.

Oh hush hneves, 1/2 the puzzle is luck anyway. I solved it by pressing the button 20 times so I can grab the cube, then send it on it's way to get on top of the platform. There is also a bad glitch (possibly caused by the whole "making the cube tumble" idea) because sometimes you press the button and the cube gets stuck inside of the dropper and pressing it again only makes that cube disappear and puts another stuck cube in its place. That glitch caused me to restart the level 3 times before solving it. Don't get me wrong, it is a decent map but too many kinks.

Gorgeous level, but have to give it a thumbs down. I managed to get the cube in the crushers area, but couldn't get it AND myself to the platform with the laser. Perhaps there's some trick I'm missing but after a 100 or so restarts, it tends to loose appeal.

you need to make the cube drop, then drop down to where the transporter blue thing is, put a portal there and then the cube now doesnt drop, it stays up there because of the transporter blue thing. now you can put another portal in front of you and then catch the cube while it falls.

lol it is supposed to go on a random direction, thats the puzzle, how to get it knowing it flies away! this brilliant thing getting thumbs down cause ppl are dumb and cant figure it out sucks

Some poor design choices. The laser cube never drops straight and always flies out in a random direction. I got lucky by pressing the button about 100 times and it finally went thru straight enough for me to grab it and continue.

I cant TELL you how much I enjoyed that second puzzle! I thought you were supposed to do it all in one gulp tho jeez :)
