Semi-blindrun (at least 4 years since I've played, took a break starting from late 2019)

Thought the portal surface extending one out from the side of the fizzler at the beginning of the map was a red herring until... well, you'll see 😉

Difficulty: 2.5/10
Design: 10/10
Enjoyed: 7/10

Nice one; pretty simple, but well designed and fun.

Usually when your puzzles look simple they turn out to take a good while and are fairly challenging... this one was different. I found it rather easy, didn't really get stuck anywhere. The things that stayed the same? Great aesthetic, very clever, and fun as always. Whether challenging or not, if it has a great aesthetic, if it's a clever puzzle, and if it's fun, I'll love it. Thumbed up, great idea for a map! I feel this could be recreated in Hammer looking even better! (Clean style would fit this..) Simple, easy, yet clever and fun.

If there was a scoring it wouild be 1 to 10
logistic = 6
astetic = 7

Very nice map, well made and well lit with a great puzzle element. Shame there isn't some way to rate quality maps ahead of mediocre offerings. Thanks for your work.

Very nice puzzle, as usual. Thumbs up!

Stumped on one of your apparently easiest maps. I simply can't see how getting the cube onto the button is possible.

Nice little tricky logical map! Thanks!

Very nice,I like it.

This is an Azorae map? It's too easy. If you say so...I was just expecting a little harder than this. It's OK and works. Well done.

Simple but enjoyable.

That's kind of a deserved rest in the middle of your workshop ;)

Btw, I just ended making a chamber, using in part the same principle of switching a polarity with the concerned funnel. I felt obligated to include a "preliminary" part to prepare the player using it in the "main" room. I like it but that split the test into two ...
If you have time, and if you want to, may you tell me what you think about it ?

To be honest, getting the cube to the polarity button seemed a little bit like an exploit, because nothing in the map design indicated that you had to do it. But otherwise, solid puzzle. A bit on the easy side, but still very clever and enjoyable. Overall well done.

Nice, but easy I dont know if i didi it right but i pass the cube, but putting it in the edge os the plataform and using the beam
GraveNoX 8 Jan, 2013 @ 12:28am
Easy one.
AgentFire 9 Dec, 2012 @ 8:50am
I did it in LPChip's way. very easy :)

Fun map. Indeed a bit easier compared to your others, but not so easy that its not fun.
I got the cube this way: Place it on the edge of the island, go through the fizzler, shoot the blue funnel next to the cube, and it'll grab the cube and bring it to you.
Azorae  [author] 28 Oct, 2012 @ 12:25pm
Yeah, this was an earlier test just to mess around with a polarity switch button. It's fairly easy compared to most of mine.
Innocentive 28 Oct, 2012 @ 10:37am
I think this is one of your easier maps ... in fact, the only part that made me wonder was how to get the cube behind the fizzler. But that's merely due to the fact that I was expecting a more elaborate logic puzzle and didn't look at the layout close enough. Maybe that's because I'm playing your test chambers backwards and the younger the test, the tougher it is ... just a thought. Still had fun solving this one. Thanks!
izaq 27 Oct, 2012 @ 7:46am
All I had to do to get the cube on the button was put the cube across from the dropper and reverse it into the beam, then shoot a portal to the right of the fizzler to bring it to me. I feel like there's some fancy way to do this that was intended and I skipped...
CoachHines 25 Oct, 2012 @ 9:05pm
Nice, this one also gave me the the never ending elevator ride. Love your maps though:)
Azorae  [author] 2 Oct, 2012 @ 5:03pm
I have a collection, and the link is in the description of all of my chambers :)
Moth 2 Oct, 2012 @ 4:23pm
Me too for sure, that would be quite the treat. If I may make a friendly suggestion though, your maps would garner more popularity they deserve if you put them together as a collection :)
Azorae  [author] 2 Oct, 2012 @ 3:14pm
It's a shame that Employee of the Moment has been all but discontinued. I'd love to see a regular spotlight on quality puzzles.
Moth 2 Oct, 2012 @ 1:44pm
I couldn't agree more, I've had this talk with a few people before, Mevious included. That it's a shame the top 5 pages are always cluttered with sand-box, roller-coaster, turret-covered, super easy "fun" maps. I think it should be the other way around, the intelligent and clever maps should easily be on top, now given not ALL maps in the top pages are like that, but most of them :(
Azorae  [author] 2 Oct, 2012 @ 12:33pm
Probably because all the ones on the front page are rollercoasters and extremely simple chambers

I enjoyed this map, I knew what to do pretty quick though because I've made a map utilizing the same technique. Well done, how come all your maps have so few subscribers? :(

OMG best puzzle ive done in a while ! faved
Geneosis 21 Jun, 2012 @ 9:38am
Getting the cube where is the button to reverse the funnel was a bit tricky, but the rest was easy to understand and not too hard to execute ;)
