I wish this didn't apply to enemy runes, mainly because those are invisible and insta kill with this mod.

Would it be possible to allow poison from darts to be cured by remove poison potions? Currently, I am poisoned for 11 real time hours, and this is problematic because I use realism mods that require that I sleep. Taking continuous damage prevents me from sleeping, so my character wil eventually die from lack of sleep. This is problematic.

Sorry buddy I had to Uninstall this super realistic mod because the traps turn out to be not tougher but deadly, even wearing legendary daedric heavy armor. Good work though.

Does this not apply to existing games? I saved right before a trap, exited and installed this mod, then loaded my game. The trap did the same amount of negligible damage as before. Its a spike trap that drops from the ceiling in a dwemer ruin, in case that matters.

And it does say "tougher traps active".

Sounds good, I always hate when followers trigger traps and thereby ruin my stealth. And just like ZoTeC below me said, the vanilla damage is hardly worth bothering to avoid the traps.

this is, in my opinion, a mod that should have been in the original game. before i would just walk straight through swinging blades and dart-traps simpl because they didnt do any significant damage.
after ONE PLAYTHROUGH i actually had to avoid traps and swinging blades, cause they freaking killed me if i werent careful! (lucky thing my follower was essential xD) i also managed to lure some mobs into traps and they dropped dead! great, simple mod. thank you so much! :D

How about making the poor ol ankle trap tougher by making it lock around the ankle and add encumberance weight to the character to hinder him until he removes it..Being able to take that trap and reset it elsewhere would be great.

Please could you remove the message "Tougher Traps Active". I just don't feel comfortable seeing it when I start a save file without it. I know it seems rather insignificant, but it would make me happy.

Runes in the original game can be set off with a basica magic spell, like flames.

so this mod is great, but the RUNE TRAPS... omg.. i literally have to walk across them to set them off, and there is no way to NOT set them off on some ocassions, and ill still die with full magic resist and elemental resist. i literally have to turn god mode on if the rune trap is in the way... please fix this, either by making them able to be activated by shouts or arrows, or making them significantly less deadly

well... it was fun at first, but I'm kind of tired of late-game tanks dying from one fire trap, or one firebolt.

The soul gem traps are way too over-powered and I had to disable this mod just to get past it.
I thought those traps were powerful enough in vanilla and this just made them super instant kill death traps.

Wondering if anyone else with the 'Light Foot' perk noticed they were setting off floor traps such as pressure plates after installing this mod? Is this a function of the mod?

a bit of a glitch, i was on easy (to test it) and i took a batering ram to the face and walked away while wearing steel armor. Mabey tune it up abit?

I'm not sure if this mod is the cause, but runes seem to be EXTREMELY overpowered. I'm talking double ward, potion of fortify health 5, potion of resist shock 3, potion of resist magic 2, and potion of regeneration, and a rune still insta-kills.

I get poision damage for 18001 sec Oo - 4 hours. Nice. But, how to cure this shit? Potions dosent work at all... chapels and blessings either...

This is exactly what i thought was needed when i started playing skyrim.
I thought this trapsystem is awesome cool but useless since u never die.
So this mod changed the whole atmosphere of every dungeon!

It's always the simple mods that end up being the best - in this case this mod does wonders for improving the life of dungeons. I don't just blindly walk through trap triggers anymore - not because I was careless but because there was not threat of dying.

Good idea man, but It really needs to be adjustable to the player. I'd try - normal +25% / hard +50% / insane +100% settings. Definitely keep it modular as well. New diseases as a separate mod aka: Tougher Traps Lite and Tougher Traps w/ Enhanced Diseases or something to that effect. Pressure plates being disarmed is also awesome, however I've yet to see that people can do it eloquently. I'd try "door" traps somewhere near the plate that can disarm it. Not perfect but maybe do-able. ~Cheers

Good mod as traps were too weak. Your mod make some too strong. A glancing glow from rams and gates = death even wih 300 health. Some of the soul gem traps require a few reloadsto disable/avoid. Still, I like the tougher trap better than weak ones. Would you consider a lesser or even optional one? Perhaps where you can set the traps to the damage you want (like Better Horse mod does)?

I'm torn. The idea of this addon is fantastic, but the system of Skyrim screws things up. I can trip a boulder trap and have them land harmlessly, then have to nudge one to go back and get killed instantly.

great mod, but the magic traps (the one with the soul gems shooting spells) are doing 1 hit kills 0_o (got over 800 hp)

Incredible mod was in a room with two firebolt throwing soulgem traps (you know the ones I mean) and it turned it from a standard "run through the room" thing to a proper tactical dodging hiding and taking cover situation. Awesome!

Instant death has broke my game so sadly am out! No sub from me as i can't let one trap finish the game for me as it blocks my way and there is no way around it.

AWESOME MOD. Finally traps are dangerous again. When I started off on Master difficulty I was being killed by traps, but after a certain period I could take a Battering Ram to the head and walk away from it with a scratch.

Tried getting hit with a battering ram after installing this mod. Went halfway across the room. Thankyou.

Finally, a mod that makes me kinda scared to traipse through dungeons! I actually got killed by a trap the other night... I was stunned, then I laughed, it was excellent :)

Love it love it love it. Especially nasty on 4x/8x master difficulty. If you miss a trap... you die. Did I mention I love it? Light foot helps... but you gotta watch out for those trip wires, chest traps... and anything a follower might set off.

Instant death awaits any unwary dungeon delver!
