I have no idea what just happened but I solved this in a 7min blind run :-) I did it the intended way and not by using the Indiana Jones Switcharoo - which btw is a hilarious characterization of that move XD
I'd agree with others that the map has rather medium difficulty, especially if you keep in mind that the advanced version (LS Redux) is just rated "medium".
Thumbs up.

Took me an overnight think to get the unintended solution: cc on cc spawn button- single fling solution that others have mentioned . Came here thinking I had done it right only to find that was not the real solution. Fortunately, it only took a few minutes to find the correct solution...however, I don't know how long it would have taken if I had not seen in the comments that a second fling was required for the intended solution. Still, I felt a satisfied feeling with finding the unintended solution after being stumped for so long, so I guess the puzzle's purpose was still served. Thanks for making!

yeah, I'd describe this as medium-hard! Just played again, 2 yrs after my first go. I had to figure it all out again. This puzzle feels 'edgy', like it's logically impossible, yet it isn't. Quite a unique experience amongst P2 maps.

Super! Thanks!

Great & fun map. Thanks for a great puzzle.

I enjoyed this considerably. Keep doing what you're doing.

I agree it's more medium than medium-hard difficulty. I like the remake more, but this map has most of the core ideas already in place. Nice :]

Well done, it was easy for me - I already knew the redux version :) I love the last fling

Fun map, though not "Medium-Hard" in my opinion. I recorded my blind run if you're interested (sorry for the low quality): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bceFco-Yvh4
Thumbs up.

You're making me use my brain and I love it! I've played several of your chambers and plan to play several more. Thanks for the challenge.

I was above the exit and pondering what the final moves might be, and started thinking about the title, and how there was a big long orange line leading all the way from the Companion Cube spawner to the Light Bridge output, And that's when it clicked: I had to pull the plug,

The rest fell into place. Brilliant.

I enjoyed that a lot (except my fumble at the 1 yard line...). Here's my blind run: https://youtu.be/Cr8PuzF5quU

I really like this map, It took me a while to figure it out. Pretty satisfying once done.
bullfrog 29 May, 2017 @ 2:16am
The pleasure's all mine; you make some brilliant maps - thank you. By the way, I did it like @Almisuifre first time around, but then went back and did it as intended, which was easier XD - both possible solutions I like a lot :)

@bullfrog Thank you!

Excellent puzzle that had me stumped for a while. I’m so please I came across your work a few days ago and I'm really enjoying working backwards in time through your entire workshop. Having completed this puzzle and now looked at the spoilers below, I’m pretty sure I did ended up doing it by the intended method :)
Almisuifre 11 Apr, 2017 @ 6:53am
I did exactly this. I didn't know someone gave it this name ^^
Happy to know it's not intended, because I'm not a big fan of this move. I'll give it a 2nd play.

Btw, nice to discover your workshop. Were you mapping before with another profile's name or something ? I'm surprised you started one month ago... ;)
Fumbly Bumbly  [author] 11 Apr, 2017 @ 6:18am
@Almisuifre Thank you for your solution. It seems pretty legitimate and is probably about the same difficulty as the intended solution (maybe even harder), so I won't make any changes, or at least not yet. It would be a tough one to fix anyway, since you must've done the Indiana Jones switcharoo, as Nari called it, I think, to get the companion cube on the button that spawns it. I've been thinking of remaking this one in hammer, so maybe I'll see what I can do when I get around to recreating it. :)
Almisuifre 11 Apr, 2017 @ 5:47am
If my english is too unclear, no problem to send you a dem file !
both cubes placed on both buttons (cc on cc's button), I go with the bridge to the exit glass where I shoot the bridge under the cc to respawn it, then I return with the bridge to the cc upper area, and go back again on the exit's glass with the cc. I keep a portal at the entrance area, go below in the exit area with the cc, and portal the floor to go grab the weighted cube
Feel free to delete this spoiler after reading.

@RectorRocks Thank you :)
@Almisuifre That fling you described is intended, but I don't understand how you didn't use another one. The second one was a fling back over to the companion cube's dropper area. Could you describe how you only used one?
Almisuifre 11 Apr, 2017 @ 4:54am
Reading wgspeeder's comment I realise I flung one time only.
from cc's area's ceiling to entrance's area upper grid Is it intended ?
My solution was clean though ;)
Rector 8 Apr, 2017 @ 6:35am
I fumbled a lot on this because I thought the exit was on the second level >_<
Nice work on this very aptly-named puzzle :)
Fumbly Bumbly  [author] 2 Apr, 2017 @ 9:55pm
Thank you all :)
wildgoosespeeder 2 Apr, 2017 @ 7:30pm
Very tricky but awesome use of fling techniques . The solution is very well hidden in plain sight!
jandlml 29 Mar, 2017 @ 4:39pm
nice map. it actually took me a minute and then it was like oh yeah thats it. thanks dire for giving me these maps

@Jade BGE Thanks so much!
Jade BGE 27 Mar, 2017 @ 6:45pm
Very good! I'm glad I found you. Keep up the good work. Thanks
Fumbly Bumbly  [author] 27 Mar, 2017 @ 4:59pm
@nockscitney Thank you for your feedback. I usually like to have pedestal buttons connected to droppers simply for convenience. The reason it is behind a fizzler is so the player can't skip flinging back to the top of the companion cube's spawn location. The fizzler resets their progress so they can't just respawn the regular cube instead and easily take both through to the exit.
nock 27 Mar, 2017 @ 6:27am
Nice chamber it took me a while at the final move but after a bit of thought I got there in the end. (4th of 5 Played)
