Hello @Soya Thank you for your reply.
I discovered in the meantime, my laptop doesn't want to use my Nvidia video card on my laptop monitor only on my secondary monitor and that's what causes the problem, so I'm trying to work on that, thats causes all the problems with it for me.

@Wolfsinger: Sorry to hear about your problem. I just tested this wallpaper and it works fine at this end. Something must have changed on your system. You could try removing the wallpaper and reloading/subscribing again, failing that, try some other video wallpaper, not necessarily ones made by me and see the results. Either its a graphic driver fault or perhaps a video codec problem. I suggest you check the FAQ/problem link I posted in description.

Hello,
I seem to have a problem here :(
I use this wallpaper for around a month now and I absolutely love it, thannks for the great work.
Although since last week something changed and it became brighter for me and it's really pixelated. Any thought what could be wrong? It runned perfectly before. I tried to change my intel grapics brightness for display but that didn't solve the problem, it's still pixelated :(

Well, thanks. That helped me. Yes i running it on w7 and tried CodecTweak (all was disabled by default) and also try the newest adrenalin drivers whitout exit, so tried the last resort, download LAV and change to DirectShow that actually works so thanks i enjoyed it, it look gorgeous.

@Offenbacher, Cold&Dark: Thanks, glad you like my work.
@Santiago_N: Check the comments below, others with similar problems and check FAQ, link in description. Most likely you're running Win 7 which has video scaling problems.

As it states in my profile, there is a FAQ for wallpaper engine users who have problems getting video wallpapers to work, I already posted the thread link below. Depending on your system/OS/monitor's resolution and/or limitations of Wallpaper Engine when it comes to downscaling videos, you may not get these to work. I am sorry if they don't work for you but that is not the fault of the wallpaper I have created as they do work if you have the correct resolution or OS/codecs for downscaling to whatever resolution you do use.

Welcome to the team^^ If you figure out how to fix that please let me know

Downloaded the K-Lite Codec Pack and did the quick upgrade. Still nothing. I guess I'm just to stupid... :steamfacepalm:
Soya  [author] 24 Jun, 2017 @ 1:33pm
@Saitama: Just google codec packs, K-Lite should be fine. That wallpaper that works for you was taken direct from a 4k movie source, so at 30fps. Perhaps capturing at 60fps does cause a problem to some but I have no idea why. All I know is, it works for me and I presume for the other 1000+ subscribers that have used and are using this wallpaper, otherwise I'd have many more comments regarding it not working.
Saitama 24 Jun, 2017 @ 12:53pm
Oh and I talked to the developer and he couldn't get it to work on his Win 8.1 rig either...

This one works. So the others don't work because I have some video codecs missing? And if thats the case, how can I fix that? (Couldn't install the codec-packs from the link or I did something wrong)
Soya  [author] 24 Jun, 2017 @ 12:20pm
@Saitama: They should work if you're on W8.1. Check this thread, https://cs2bus.com/app/431960/discussions/2/348292787747453462/ most likely you may have some video codecs missing. The 60fps should be irrelevant, although I did release some 30fps 21:9 wallpaper much earlier in my collection, my guess is, they shouldn't work either but you could try. Hope you get it sorted.
Saitama 24 Jun, 2017 @ 12:16pm
Hey, you have some nice wallpapers...too bad they don't work on my computer. I only get a black screen with the sound:/
(I got Windows 8.1, so I think it might be the 60fps)

@Oody: Thanks, appreciate the comment.

Love your alien theme, this one is my favorite, the loop is good.
Soya  [author] 12 May, 2017 @ 10:25am
All 21:9 wallpapers should downscale on 1080p monitors (although you will get black bars above and below most likely, otherwise image will be squashed) providing you have proper codecs installed and are not running Win7 (I believe WE & Win7 seems to have big problems downscaling video higher than native resolution, even with proper codec installed). All my wallpapers work properly, if they are blank then check with what I just mentioned above.

I have made several 1080p wallpapers but doing everything in 1080p as well as 21:9 would literally take me twice the amount of time & workload. Considering I am doing this for free and in my spare time and the fact they should downscale for most 1080p users anyways, my answer has to be; no sorry. I am sticking primarly with my native resolution of 3440x1440. However, I may in future redo some of my most popular wallpapers in 1080p, maybe.

@SpankMonkey: the only way I managed to capture these close ups of the Alien was to find a invisibility hack/cheat. Can't give you the link as it was private but should be easy enough to google. You will also need alot of patience to entice the Alien out then quickly switch on invisibility and hope he is in a good spot and won't retreat while you try to video capture him. :)
Raging Feral 1 May, 2017 @ 6:47pm
Awesome job, I was wondering how you captured the Alien with out being killed as thats not easy !
Soya  [author] 1 May, 2017 @ 6:01am
@Spankmonkey: Thanks, yeah the game is fantastic, just right for a proper aliens game. I done a few more wallpapers with capturing the alien in the picture. However, I am limited into what I can capture, as I am using a invisibility hack to record the alien without it attacking and killing me straight away but I cannot control it's scripting. But will see what I can do, enjoy the others.
Raging Feral 1 May, 2017 @ 12:54am
Hey good work, this game rocks, still have to finish it but it scares the shit out of me and thats quality gaming.

Can you do one with the xenomorph roaming around hunting, if poosible, cheers!
