Not a big gel fan, but that last room is excellent. Such swift gel re-painting, Faved!

Was really frustrating to complete the last chamber, but upon watching the video I realize there was a much simpler solution that required less timing than what I ended up doing.:steamsad: I never realized you could use the blue gel to get back up to that platform next to the cube-dispensing room, so I kept trying to place a portal on that platform whilst keeping the blue gel falling in between the two portals. Very elegant solution on your part, but I can't help but feel there's some way my complicated solution could have seemed less viable. Nice work anyhow!

Not usually a fan of single-color portal gun maps, but this was pretty damn good.

The dexterity requirements for this test are too high. It's practically not doable on a controller and is very trial and error even if you're using keyboard. Sometimes I'd get caught on a piece of geometry as well. Very smart Portal level design, but too frustrating to give a thumbs up.

Tough one, easy-advanced; bit hard for me than usual since I am lousy at twitching moves, slow choreographic moves is most of what I can do comfortably.

Wow, a 4-in-1 :steamhappy:
The penultimate and the final chamber felt like they could be exploited a bit, but I guess not. I did everything just the same way the official solution video did. My only other minor complaint would be that the fizzler at the end of the last chamber should be behind grating. Imagine fizzling the cube when you bring it through...
It's a BIG thumbs up and almost a favourite!:neonsmile:

Had Me Stumped On The Last Bit Ngl. Good Map

Came here to play the original after thoroughly enjoying the hammer version just released. Super fun. I will say, I don;t think I would have been able to solve this had I played it first. Something about the hammer versions hold my attention longer.

Super fun map, had some difficulties with the blue gel in the 4th room, but after watching the video, I discovered I just made it harder for myself than it needed to be.

Enjoyed it. Thanks for creating!

Crazy good chamber :D

Nice puzzle! Gel in the last room felt a little messy but was very much worth the replacing of gel types on a single surface. I had thought the name came from the composition of three axiomatic gel setups, but the listed interpretation is nice as well.

:maglike: But a bit annoying.

The level was amazing. I got stuck at the end for a little bit, but I figured it out. Keep up the fantastic work.
Petutski 28 Mar, 2020 @ 2:14pm
Excellent map! I was going to complain about the fact that the final jump across to get the conversion gel in the exit room was an annoying tricky gel timing ninja move, but I actually did it! Then I watched the video and found out there was a solution that really wasn't that hard at all! Thanks for your work!
Demon Arisen  [author] 21 Mar, 2020 @ 6:14am
@crhoaviet6 Thank you so much! High praise indeed. I'm very proud of this chamber, too.
crhoaviet6 13 Mar, 2020 @ 3:40am
Echoing wildgoosespeeder's praise: this is the best three-gel puzzle that I've ever seen. (Good conversion gel puzzles are already hard to find.) I especially like the way that the elevated areas become easier to access as you get deeper into the solution. It's not necessary, but it's so convenient.
Hikari 12 Sep, 2019 @ 6:30pm
Ahhhhhh!!! Too much jumping through horizontally-placed portals to land on the other side!!! XD Awesome puzzle, though!
lfairban 26 Aug, 2019 @ 10:54am
Great chambers. The timing to get the cube was a little tight, but the whole thing was very innovative.
_galaxy 23 Jul, 2019 @ 12:49pm
Apart from the last map, these puzzles manage to not be so linear for a monoportal-ish map! While the last was still linear, well it was really clever and very challenging. This is one of my favorites!

@Eloni_Baloni Well done! :) Glad you enjoyed it
EloniBaloni 24 Jun, 2019 @ 3:05pm
Awesome! I loved the last part of it. I felt so good after I did it. It was one of the few test chambers that I had fun in. Very clever!

Thanks, vallibus! Really glad you liked it :)

Another doozy from your workshop. Very nice.
Demon Arisen  [author] 9 Feb, 2019 @ 6:31pm
@wildgoosespeeder Thank you very much, that means a lot! :D I'm very very proud of this one, might be my best map ever.
wildgoosespeeder 9 Feb, 2019 @ 4:45pm
This is the most satisfying official three gel (bounce, speed, and portal gels) puzzle I have ever seen, even from a community standpoint! Not counting the reflection gel because it was dropped for unknown reasons and not known how it would have been implemented by Valve and the hacked-like adhesion gel by various Hammer mappers.
zigzagtenniscoe 24 Dec, 2018 @ 3:14pm
Yeah it's a bug in the source engine anyways and when I find an exploit solution in your maps I just try to solve it the intended way anyways because it's much more satisfying and the "exploit solutions" certainly does feel like cheating, and knowing you for the most part you don't have those kinds of solutions in maps :P
Demon Arisen  [author] 23 Dec, 2018 @ 8:52am
Thanks zigzag, much appreciated! I honestly don't really care about people breaking my maps by bhopping. It's not something I can reasonably prevent, and I always consider it cheating, so if people want to do it it's their loss.
zigzagtenniscoe 22 Dec, 2018 @ 5:11pm
Great job on this puzzle. Haven't seen many chambers make three gels work really well together before. It's rare to come across a monoportal map that does the same just on its own (although many more possibilities surprisingly do open up when just using a single portal and actually makes things a bit more interesting for me as you can still use a portal in monoportal maps, just not as much and you get to use them in increasingly interesting ways). Combining monoportals with a chamber covering each of the three gels and at the end doing a chanber covering all three gels and the concepts taught in the previous rooms is a splendid idea. Certainly haven't seen that before.

That being said, I have found you can skip the intended solution for the first room by bhopping as shown in the video below. (I haev found the intended solution for that room too, don't worry!) Also not sure whether the second part of the video in the solution is intended or not
Demon Arisen  [author] 12 Sep, 2018 @ 5:33am
@CatsMeatsMan Thank you! I happen to agree, it's probably the one I'm most proud of.
Catzs 11 Sep, 2018 @ 10:57pm
this is your best chamber
Demon Arisen  [author] 22 Aug, 2018 @ 11:58am
@Nobody No-One Thank you! Really glad you like it so much, it's one of my personal favourites that I've made. It was very hard work, but I'm proud of it.
Nobody No-One 21 Aug, 2018 @ 10:48am
I just replayed this map because it's one of my favorites of yours. I didn't comment on it before, but I love the structure of this map and the clever uses of all 3 gels. Everything works out really smoothly and nicely, and all elements are used to their full potential. Great work.
Demon Arisen  [author] 7 May, 2018 @ 8:10am
@leomievs Thank you very much for playing, and for the detailed feedback!
Leo 7 May, 2018 @ 6:28am
Very clever gel map, enjoyed it a lot. My favourite part was the conversion gel based room, which was truly brilliantly thought of. The last room was very good too, as the chamber's peak, but in my opinion the design was a little bit less refined. Anyway, awesome work -- especially for combining monoportal and gels!
Demon Arisen  [author] 8 Mar, 2018 @ 12:44am
@| \_/ () Thanks! I think this map is better than okay, personally. If you knew how much time and effort I put into it... Sure, it might not be as cohesive as some of my others, but I think it's a pretty incredible feat. I wonder why you didn't like it so much the second time round? If you hyped it up as the "best puzzle ever" then of course it wouldn't live up to expectations... nothing beats the feeling of being surprised at how good a map is. Without that element of surprise, I guess you're bound to look at it more objectively. Regardless of people's thoughts on it, this is one of the puzzles I'm proudest of, and for good reason. Thanks for playing and commenting!

When I played this map when it came out, I thought it might become one of my favorite puzzles you made, so I had to play it again before I comment. I kept putting that off untill now though and...high expectations...I think it's okay. I thoroughly enjoyed it the second time too, but it wasn't as good as I remember. I still have no criticisms for it though. It's a really solid puzzle with some of my favorite puzzle elements (gels and a single-portal-device), so it deserves a BIG thumbs up!

A great use of all three gels! Especially the conversion gel, that's hard to use, on top of it being monoportal. Definitely a favorite. As for whether it's my favorite map of yours, I'm not sure.
Neightro 24 Jan, 2018 @ 11:51am
Guilty! Of not reading the description! I should have seen that; now things make a lot more sense.

Might I suggest an Axiom map with the unused reflection gel? I would guess that you have Hammer or BEE based on the auto-portals, so it should be within your reach. I know that it takes a long time to make these maps, though.
Demon Arisen  [author] 23 Jan, 2018 @ 5:15pm
@Neightro Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it... but the whole point of this map is to have one chamber focusing on each gel, and then a final challenge combining all three of them. Making the final puzzle its own map would defeat the point.
Neightro 23 Jan, 2018 @ 4:11pm
The last part really should have been its own chamber. It's too long and too hard to go with the other rooms. I do, however, like your use of the single portal device!:steamhappy:
lfairban 19 Jan, 2018 @ 10:15am
Multiple layers of crazy. I like it.
Mikeastro 24 Sep, 2017 @ 10:33am
Good set of puzzles! And always remember, no mathematics without ZFC!
Steve1965 15 Sep, 2017 @ 6:36am
Great puzzle. There is always that WTF moment when I venture into one of your chambers,. What am I supposed to do now?! As in the 3 Amigos movie.. "We are just going to have to use our brains.... Damn!" Seriously, this one was enjoyable. Nice use of gravity and momentum.
