Love it. I also just noticed on my third play of this map, that in the first room, the generator like machines next to each stasis chamber's lights flicker in specific ways according to the condition of the stasis chamber. I must say, great attention to detail. I love this map.

The 3rd can only be found by breaking the puzzle and not use the 2nd blue gel dropper, exit without having shot a portal under it unlocks it

I found Useless Backtracking and Potatos Found but what's the third achievement

I'm just glad I was able to solve it this time. I guess we do live and learn.

It's still the same map and title, thank you for coming back to it :)

Nice map, well made and sufficiently lit. I'm a little confused, this is an old map of yours I played (and couldn't finish at the time) a long while ago and here it is in the first pages of the Workshop. Is this the original name or was it something else? (At least I got to the exit this time.) Thanks for your efforts.

Jipieh! Super map!

If you have white gel on the floor up in that corridor and the white floor in the testchamber covered with blue, all you need to do is have a portal in the ceiling above the white gel covered floor, jump down onto the blue floor, bounce once, portal below you and quickly portal after you passed it. This gives you enough momentum to reach a frame model and from there you can jump to the exit. It's basically how you got onto the obs room ;)
lol this puzzle actually is pretty broken :P
nock 2 Oct, 2017 @ 11:45am
What do you mean? I used it in my run 🤔
nintendo.erk  [author] 2 Oct, 2017 @ 10:13am
Very nice, you took a hard way but still. The momentum you gained to land on the obs room is also enough to reach the exit. the rotating panel isn't even needed, lol I suck at making solid puzzles :P

The last fing with the gel was great, thumbs up!!!

Neat! But it could benefit with more lighting. The final jump is also a bit iffy because you barely make it.

That was really good. Fun stuff!

1. It's too dark. Add lights around the portalable floor
2. I'm not so fond of some of the layout details (positioning of some important areas and surfaces)
Everything else is pretty good. Thumbs up!

You are the first I hear about finding both, very well done. backtracking is pretty useless huh? :P
vallibus 10 Jul, 2017 @ 9:32am
Not sure why, but this map turned out to be quite the challenge for me. I guess I "over thought" it. However, I'm happy that I was able to unlock both achievements. Very nice map.

Thank you very much LB, Hugo was right in the chat, I am very pleased you found and recognised the cave outside that widow :D

Great map! Love the hammer work. Here's my blind playthrough: https://youtu.be/Rq_V21AaLok?t=21m

(Extra comment) I did get the "finding potatos" achivement. On accident as a matter of fact.

Very well made indeed! Very, veeery authentic old aperture. Very good hammer work in general, and a very good puzzle. My only complaints are these: personally I found the puzzle a tad clumsy to execute, but thats really just me, and the "lobby room" I got stuck in for a minute or two because I couldnt figure out how to open the door. xD

Overall 9/10

Fantastic! I really liked the style in this map. Felt very unique compared to other Old Aperture maps i've seen. The puzzle was nice too. Keep up the good work!

Really good. Exellent work.
A_Fall3n_Angel 17 Jun, 2017 @ 10:08pm
Cool map! For what it's worth, I personally don't like it when the various Old Aperture eras are mixed, a strange mish-mash of 50s, 70s, and 80s Old Aperture is kinda confusing and haphazard, to me. But the puzzles were very clever, so there's that!
jgaultney 17 Jun, 2017 @ 5:14pm
Great intro area and puzzle. I found one achievement but not both (I think).:(
Thumbs up!
Jade BGE 17 Jun, 2017 @ 2:39pm

TG 17 Jun, 2017 @ 12:00pm
Very cool map and I am glad I playtested it :P
Sad thing is that I wasn't born back then to experience it :steamsad: :P
Thumbs up!
