However: One person to another (OP): It's not about witch-hunting but common courtesy. If something inspired you and/or laid the groundworks for something people will admire YOU for, it's common courtesy to give referrals.
It's not very time consuming to just add a one liner with the link and "inspired by this" or "with content from (link)" or whatever.
Do you get where I'm coming from? Not trying to discredit you or bash or anything at all. Just calmly (hopefully) putting things into perspective :)
