Would you recommend this game to other players? YES

I don't know how accurate this is, compared to actual truck since I'm not a trucker. But I'm told that the simulation is close to actual experience, if yes then it's a fun experience.

You drive your truck accross US States delivering many kinds of cargo for many fictional companies. Sometimes, you'll go through highways with wide open road and 80 mph limit or a mountainous narrow road while you are struggling to climb the road with low gear.

That's not the only event on your journeys, there are traffic accidents, detours, and a stupid AI cars. Sometimes you need to take longer route with the expense of late in your delivery or just go through the barricade and get fined, well I prefer the later. But if you want to hear some amazing upbeat rock country music then you might want to choose longer route. These event can be tweaked in game options. If you want more drama, you can do that. What is a game without dramas eh?

You also need to manage your fuel and fatigue carefully because in this game gas stations and rest area are scarce compared to its predecessor ETS.

This is not only a driving game, it also an Empire building game. You can grow your empire by buying all the garages available accross US States, buy trucks, containers, and hire drivers so that you have steady income. Then you can just drive around, taking screenshots, or looking for some hidden Easter eggs.

So, how is it compares to Euro Truck Simulator 2 ?
I don't want to compare them since they are both great. If you need to chose then chose to save your money and buy them both they are WORTH IT.

At first I thought this game to be boring. Why? because there will be no racing, no police chase, no wrecking other cars, or shooting from your car window with a machine gun.

But I was wrong, there are enjoyable things for people who like challenge. Driving a truck might look simple at first but it's not because it's pulling a cargo. The truck itself is easy to drive but the cargo you carry was like they got a mind of their own. Sometimes they just not acted like we wanted it to be, but it's 100% your fault. You need to position your truck correctly when taking turns.

The cargo is not the only challenge in here, there are many roadside dramas like traffic accident, road project that blocked your route so you need to find a detour and ended up late in your delivery. There's also a special delivery if you have the DLC. It adds more challenge because the cargo is so oversized that it took almost whole lane, your skill in driving will be tested, and the most exciting part is when you were parking.
It's hard at first but when you get the gist of it, you'll be addicted. Parking your truck will be the most exciting part of your journey, well at least for me.

It also not just a driving simulator, but it has a management sim in it. At first you only a driver that took delivery job with your employer's truck. But eventually you'll be able to buy your own truck and trailers. You can even hire a driver to finish those delivery contracts.

For those who has an artistic soul, there are customization. You can customize your truck from the paintjobs, chassis, or rims. You can even customize your driver's cabin.

The scenery is good, and it's like you really driving in europe. I'm an Asian and looks like I don't need to travel to Europe to enjoy this driving experience.

Also thanks to this game now I have discovered the best radio station: Truckers FM M M m m ....

I would like to know background story in this "T-Bug" person. Did the development of the game encounter so many "T" bugs they had to immortalize it into one of the game's character?

This might simply one of the best zombie survival game out there.

Most zombie survival game has stories predefined to them so that you follow what the developer has told you. In here you create your own story, not just you but those around you, your community.

You started by define who you are, create a character. You can modify how they look, their personalities, and their starting equipment. Personality traits that you pick will define how they react to dialogues, there are so many trait that you can choose to define who you are. For me I prefer random for a challenge.

You started as a lone wanderer with equipments that depends on your choice when you generate your character, my favourite is archer. First you need to survive. You need to scavenge food and water. You also need a campfire to warm yourself, but first you have to scavenge the tools to make it. Or you can find a friendly NPC settlement's campfire to warm yourself.

Eventually you need to build your own settlement, you need tools to build. There are dashboard that shows how many men you have in your community, amount of food, accomodations, etc.

The NPC that lives in your community not just a bland generic NPC with predefined script. Your NPC is actually alive. They remember your action. If you show favoritism to an NPC the others might be jealous. If you kill or shakedown their friend, you'll lose respect. If their respect is down to zero, they'll leave unless they fear you.

NPC can also share stories about their experience and it'll affect their opinion to other characters including your character. If you kill many zombies and there are NPC witness, the witness will share their story about you, and you'll be known as zombie slayer.

But this still in early access and needs more improvement here and there. There's still no diplomacy option especially to negotiate a peace. If you declare war to a settlement the only way to end it is to destroy it.

In my opinion this is not a really zombie game but more like a community management game in a zombie appocalypse setting.

If you like game that is like Kenshi or Rimworld you should try this game.

What is No Man's Sky
This game is a blend of sandbox, survival, space sim, RPG and action. The spirit is about discovery, charting the uncharted. In order to do that you should upgrade yourself, your ship, your tools, and your base to survive the most extreme planet. Just like it claims, everything is procedural except the buildings. Floras, animals, and even stones are procedural. I can guarantee that you won't find the same planet twice.

Gameplay
This is a sandbox game, you can be whoever and whatever you want. You can be a cartographer, discovering new planets, new animals, new plants, new minerals. Or just stay relaxed in your beautiful base that you have built on a paradise planet. You can also be a bounty hunter that exclusively took hunting pirate quest, et cetera.
Me? I'm just a simple archaeologist. I specifically earn my money by trading artifacts and fossils at space stations. I also have a plan to build my base from that money to be a trading post and I'll sell my artifact there. But, carrying such valuable goods will attract pirates and the likes so I have to equip my star ship with the best weapon and shield.
There's no XP like your usual RPGs to increase your stats, but there's "nanites". If you accumulate enough nanites you can buy upgrades recipe to your tools and equipment, to level up. You still need gold(in-game it is called "units") to buy the parts for upgrading. But, if you are a cheapskate and just want to keep those shiny gold to yourselves then you should just craft the ingredients, or even better, take it from the others, take it from the weak.

Graphic
The graphic is beautiful, it's like living in a fantasy land. Every planet you visit will give you sense of wonder. It's perfect for those who are looking for some selfies. My brother said it's a wallpaper generator.

Music
I need to confirm this, but I heard that the music is also procedurally generated, yet it still good. The best part is when you are in a space combat.

Story
Main quest is a tutorial, if you are blind and don't know what to do in this game, just follow the main quest. The story is about uncovering the mysteries of a lost traveler named Artemis. It's a nod to the early version of the game where two players haven't met each other even thou they shared the same coordinate and same planets.

Final Verdict
10/10 - A must have
Remember to pay attention to your real wife and kids. This game is addicting, too much of this will lead to disaster.

My relative from a neighboring empire decided to raid my vassal. I've been called by my vassal to aid him in defense, and I accepted, he's my vassal after all.
My relative is not happy that his raid failed. He charged my archon for the crime I have committed. I just defended my vassal, and apparently, it's a crime because I'm not helping my relative instead.
My archon tried to depose me, I refused and declared my independence, ten turns later my empire is finished.
10/10

You should buy it, trust me, it's fun.

Don't be fooled with my playtime, I've played it three days straight in offline mode you can check my achievement for that.

When I first played this game my wife watched me and asked a question.

"Where's the fight? You said there were gladiators"
"It's here, the fighting is in the output log!"

She laughed and said "You call this a game?"
"Of course, and a great one in that."

She laughed again even harder.
Apparently, she has failed to look past the simplicity of the presentation. But I've heard people say that "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication". So for YOU potential buyers, if you don't mind the simple graphic but wanted a great gameplay then you should try it.

You started as a manager of a gladiator sport team. You need to hire available gladiators from the market. They have various background ranging from a citizen who wanted to fight to a criminal who need to serve their sentence.

The battle is turn based, but both your action and the enemy are executed in the same time. I think it's briliiant because you will keep guessing about what your enemies will do. Will they parry your attack? or dodge it? Or will they attack you back?

There are stats that is used to calculate the output of your action for example, you'll be disarmed when your attack got parried by enemy with high weapon skill. This will make you think, is it wise for you to attack highly weapon skilled enemy? Should you change the attack type that is hard to be parried? What if he dodged it? Or should I defend myself with dodge so that they lose control and strike them back when their control is low?

There's so much to experiment, so much to try. Not only you need to understand the enemy, you also need to understand your own gladiators. Are they a brave warriors with high discipline but low on weapon skill and general abilities? Are they a very skilled one with a mental of a scaredy cat, so that they disobeyed your command anytime?

Getting to know your gladiator make you choose the training routine wisely. Your cowardly highly skilled dagger user might need a discipline and bravery training. While your brave and suicidal warrior should focus on their ability to dodge and parry, and your weak but balanced fighters should train themselves in strength so that next smash on the head to an enemy will actually break their skull.

The base game is fun with mods, but without one you'll only experience a dull and a boring game. The NPC just don't have enough personality and they have no story progression. The only worth is the house building, which you can get it cheaper if you just buy another game like House Flipper instead.

No need to buy those overpriced dlcs unless it's on sale.

That's true but I AM a die-hard tactical combat fans, so I consider it.

General
You play as a gangster crew which you can choose between three gangster faction: Scrapper, Tribe-kin, and Skarbacks. There is a main quest but there are also side quests. You can walk through a world map to visit quest point, encounter, and opportunities. Every start of the game you will be placed randomly through the world map so everytime you play, the chance that you start in the exact area and the exact same spot is very very little.

When you encounter a point of interest, there's a level and how many enemies in it, so you can pick your fight. Pick wisely, I have to restart like 10 times because of my poor choice. I faced like seven level 1 hostile crew with only three level 3 crew. I should have picked point of interest with label "a few rats" Level 1. But as your crew progresses you can take more challenges, or even beat a dungeon.

Story
There's not much in here. It's just like go here, kill bunch of bad guys and go there kill some bad guys. Story is not the appeal in here. If you want story go buy Wasteland series instead.

Tactial Combat
It plays like XCOM, there are action point when you can either use it as movement or action like shooting, attacking with melee weapon, or activate special skill. Some skills don't require action points. There's also a cover system like in XCOM like a full cover and a half cover, there's also a flanking mechanic where you'll get significant hit chance if you flanked an enemy.

The difference here is melee combat. If your characters have engaged in melee they cannot be shot by ranged characters. If you want to shot your enemy while they are "Melee Locked" you need to "break the chain" by running from melee engagement but your enemy will have a free attack. Or user your character to charge so that the enemy will be pushed back hence they will not "melee locked" so you can shot 'em dead.

Crew Management
You started with one leader and a few crew members. You can opt to have the leader only as a start. You can customize your crew appearance, not extensive but enough. There is also a skill tree, every class has their own skill tree and you can allocate points to your desired branch. You can recruit your crew member in barrack. I think this feature will be useful in late game where you need replacements of your injured crew.

Progress
The game is slow paced. Collecting scraps to upgrade your base feels like forever. The equipment and weapons are expensive, so you'll be experiencing equipment swaps among your active and inactive crew. But, the combat is fun at least for me.

Recommendation
I recommend this game to the one who likes:
  • Sandbox turn based tactical
  • Slow paced gameplay
  • Don't mind simple graphic
I don't recommend it to people who likes:
  • Cyberpunk 2077 level graphic
  • Interesting stories and characters
  • Fast paced strategy game
