Populated World!

In 1 collection by One Proud Brazilian
** Better Vanilla CK3 ** (1.15.x)
78 items
Description

Introduction
This mod is the opposite of Population Control. Its purpose is to remove artificial limitations imposed by Paradox to improve performance. The goal is to create more realistic and immersive courts, populated by families, not only "single" courtiers.

The result is an approximate 25% "organic" increase in the character population, by allowing the courtiers to have families. Therefore, this mod is more CPU and RAM intensive, unless paired with a map-reducing mod, such as Smaller World Map.

-> Check my Better Vanilla Collection. Includes this mod and Smaller World Map

Features Overview
-> Missing Mothers/Parents will be generated on game start
-> Lowborn courtiers with a court position (or knights), will bring their family to the court!
-> Added a script to marry lowborn/highborn courtiers, based on fertility rate
-> Added a script to auto select guardians for kids at court (except liege close family)
-> Courtiers, especially family members, will remain at court.
-> Courtiers couples will typically have around three children.
-> Low-ranking rulers are now able to have more children.
-> Guest limits have been slightly increased, leading to more variety.
(Liege/Player close family members will never auto-marry)

Balance Changes
-> The health impact of stress levels has been reduced by 50%.
-> Stress levels now primarily affect opinion and skills.
-> Unlanded characters now have a 20% reduction in base fertility.
-> Unlanded characters now have a minor health penalty.
-> Health decay (mortality) from age has been increased.
-> Newborns now have slightly lower base health.

This mod have few lines of localization. Will be available on every language soon!

Compatibility:
-> Works with mods that change fertility and mortality
-> Replaces "courtier_management.txt"
-> Load order does not matter
-> Probably is savegame compatible

Recommendation:
Hello! I've been creating mods for CK3 for over a year. Try them :)

-> County Temperaments (Adds personality to county populations and new buildings)
-> Additional Lifestyles (Adds an additional tree for each lifestyle, totaling six new trees)
-> Royal Court Event Pack (Adds 400+ court events, expanding the Royal Court DLC!)
-> Immersive Realm Laws (Adds 14 New Realm Laws, along with unique mechanics!)
-> Manor Domicile (Feudal/Clan) (Introduces new domicile types for feudal/clan/tribals)
-> Royal Court for Dukes (Unlocks royal court for dukes in a balanced way)
-> Simple Graphic Pack (A careful selection of edited and compatibilized graphic mods)

The mod is great. I have 16GB of ram and I notice there are 37K characters in the world. Most of which are not actually at courts but are just roaming around doing nothing. I feel like people traveling on the roads should be eliminated to improve performance but otherwise no limits on actual courts is a wonderful feature.

boa noite ai chefe, um I7 de décima terceira geração e uma 4050m são o suficiente pra rodar o mod?

yes, if your CPU is reliable, (I5 of 12th, 13th, 14th or equivalent)

Ok, What do you consider above Average though. As that can vary from person to person, Is having 16GB of RAM considered above Average?
One Proud Brazilian  [author] 14 Apr @ 6:06am
any PC above "average" will be fine

Looks like a fun mod!, So with the changes and it being CPU intensive does that mean those with 15 GB of RAM should be able to use the Mod, And with Ck3 on a SSD ?

Só pra ficar claro pra min, o mod agora consome menos cpu, porem ainda assim usando ele consome bastante cpu? Só consome menos do que antes?!
