This is an optional addon/submod for Battle Graphics. However, this mod can also be used without using Battle Graphics mod. This mod is an alternative lite version of the BG Zoom Scale Map submod. You can turn this mod on and off at any time and it's also save-game compatible.

Ever wondered why army and travel units on the map get smaller and bigger when you zoom in and out? Well, i don't know why CK3 devs implemented this into the base game. But i prefer army and travel unit scale to be unchanged when i zoom in and out. So this mod will fix it.


you can put this mod on any position on your mod playlist. loading order doesn't really matter for this mod.

• Graphics only mod => no gameplay changes!
  
• kept vanilla original 3D army and travel unit scaling but those units won't get bigger or smaller anymore when zooming in and out of the map - like it does with vanilla (= no mods) CK3

incompatible with i.e. do not use this mod together with:

• ⛔ BG Other Graphics: Zoom Scale Map
  
• ⛔ BG Other Graphics: Battleground Commanders

compatible with:

• ✅️ every mod on the workshop that does not change zoom-scaling of army unit models
  => that does mean you can basically run this mod with every mod except the two BG submods mentioned above because at the moment i am not aware of any other mod that does make similar adjustments

Does this mod require one of the submod-compatibility patches like a compatibility patch for ZSM-AGOT etc.?

• No. Like i stated before, this mod should be compatible with every other mod on the workshop except the two BG submods that i mentioned and you don't need any compatibility patches for this particular submod.

Is it possible to only use this mod without any other mod?

• Yes. You don't need to use BG main mod or any other mod if you want to use this mod. You can also just use this mod with CK3 with no other mods.

What is the difference between BG ZSM and this LITE version?

• BG ZSM does include the same zoom scale level adjustment for army and travel units i.e. units won't get bigger or smaller when zooming in and out. But BG ZSM (unlike BG ZSM LITE) does also include smaller units scaling and many other map graphic adjustments like border graphic adjustments and so on (for more details please check the features list of BG ZSM)

Why is this mod incompatible with BG ZSM and BG Battleground Commanders submods?

• Because BG ZSM does include different unit scaling (smaller) and BG Battleground Commanders submod was built for BG ZSM submod scaling. That's why it's not recommended to use those mods together with this LITE version of BG ZSM
