"previous_artifact_owner" should be used instead.
Redania has the best horses and this would give a chance to even the playing field.
And in Thrones it would see two uses.
The first being Dothraki providing it didn't crash every attempt to play in essos.
And the second is it will be very fun to selectively stock up on regional mounts to produce the best stock.
Author you should really create sub-mods for this that allow these.
@Meatwad
I'm not familiar with that mod but it works with vanilla Patricians and Doges so it might be that mod causing issues. Are you getting any options at all? Or are you buying one then getting told there aren't any available?
@Wamuu
Maybe when I'm back to modding

In the description
I am playing in Venice, but currently I am not the Serene Doge, but I own the Duchy of Ancona, Krete, Cyprus, Tripoloi, and a county in Serbia.
African lions only in Africa continent and Asian lions in Middle East,India and Greece
It will calculate from your capital province. A player can always buy horses assuming there are horses available in the market.
It doesn't calculate from where your character is.
You have to be a certain distance from a mount province to interact with it. Either your capital or any of your provinces that are dejure of your primary title. So if you were the King of Hungary then any land that is dejure part of Hungary would work. Check the modifier on the mount province for the specific distance you need.
If you don't know where to find the distance then this is how:
1. Click on a province
2. Hover your mouse on another province
3. There should be a tooltip in the lower right that tells you the distance between the 2 provinces.
The King of Poland is probably in range of another mount province. Also check the modifier on the province and make sure that the number of mounts isn't 0.
Then i chose my neighbor king of poland via console and brought his army right to the same province and you know what? He can buy all horses without problems, although he doesn’t even have provinces with this parameter lol
@budaboi3000
Hello, really sorry for the late reply.
Mod is version 1.7.3
For the latest CK2 version
You can only get Mongolian horses through breeding. You either have to be a Mongol or be in the Northeastern Steppes when the Mongol invasion is happening.
Stablemasters don't affect breeding. They affect event outcomes and extend your mounts' natural lifespans. The best stablemasters need to have either the tier 3 or 4 stablemaster trait and high stewardship.
What horse you get from breeding is sort of random but not really. Many things affect what horse you get but generally it is a very very high chance to get the same breed if both parents are the same. You just rolled really low that time and got a destrier.
As far as I've experienced, yes, it is compatible.
Welp Hope you will be done soon!

@Root Beer = Best Soda
Yeah someone else reported this a while ago too. I checked but the modifiers are updated whenever a mount is gained or lost. So tbh I'm not sure what's causing it.
@baboon
No sorry.
Is there any rhyme or reason to it, or was it just right place right time?
I purchased a new, less quality mount, and it changed the "Mount Upkeep" modifier to represent the cost of that tier of horse.
Whenever the mount dies, I will see if the modifier remains applied to my character or not.
The mount upkeep was something like 16 ducats per year, because the mount was exotic (Russian bear).
It isn't terrible because my count is still able to make enough money to offset the upkeep. I will try to get a new mount and then see if it replaces the existing modifier, or if it adds a new one.
Is this an issue you are aware of, @Auirus?
This mod though, is very nice and I enjoy it very much. Thanks for your hard work and dedication!
Unfortunately no. I've had a few issues with Ruler Designer starts across my mods but I've recently found a way to fix them. It's just I'm busy these days and the time I have to myself I sadly don't feel like modding.
@dannyoffthewall
Yeah but that would require me to edit a vanilla file which would break compatibility with anything that touches that file. It's a shame but I'd rather not really mess with it.
@Orph3us
I haven't played CK2 or kept up with HIP for a while now. Only thing that would really affect this mod is map changes. So if HIP changed the map since I last updated then this mod might not work.
Hello there.
1.How did you give it to the commander? Mounts are exempted from the vanilla "Give Artifact" decision and using the mod decision creates a new mount for the commander. Are you sure that's how your mount got taken away?
2. How did it die in battle? Mounted combat is currently disabled.
Sure, just as long as you credit me :).
If you use csm.203 another Bucephalus may spawn while the first is alive. Use csm.201 for the full chain if you want only 1 Bucephalus to be alive at any given point.
